I worked with coach Sara online while I was at school completing my A-levels. She created a very thorough plan of exercises 3/5 days a week depending on my work load of that week. I especially loved how flexible out schedule was so I never felt overwhelmed by all that I had to complete. Be a we were working online we had frequent checking over zoom where coach Sara would track my progress. I highly recommend coach Sara to anyone looking to enhance their performance at the gym.

I have been training with Sara at Platform for 6 months now and she has changed my outlook on exercise! I was fed up with going to gyms and exercise classes where everything was super rushed and trying to get quick results that wouldn’t last. Sara has taught me how to use weights and train with the correct form for long term sustainability not a quick fix. When I joined, she did an assessment and I explained I had lower backache and painful knees which is now completely gone! My body composition has also massively changed, I have much more energy and I feel much more confident when using weights.

Exercise used to be one of the most daunting parts of my week - not that I ever ended up exercising. Just the thought of another HIIT workout would sent me into a spurt of procrastination. Joining Platform has COMPLETELY changed my attitude towards exercise in a surprisingly short amount of time. As women, gyms can be such intimidating, male-dominated spaces where a "go hard or go home" attitude runs rife. Through Platform, Coaches Sara and Holly have created a safe space for people (especially women) to come in, understand their bodies, movements and be reassured in the fact that it's OK not to knock yourself out to reach your goals. They've made exercise fun, lighthearted and informational in a way that only they can. I've gone from not even lifting a finger to lifting barbells on the regular!

I would fully recommend working with Sara from Platform to make sustainable and manageable changes to your life in order to live a healthier and more active lifestyle. Previously, I have signed up for fitness programmes or weight loss programmes and whilst I’ve had some success, I always end up giving up and putting on the weight I lost and giving up on my fitness goals. Working with Sara, she has has helped me consider my fitness, nutrition and life style goals and really helped to educate me holistically so it isn’t just a quick fix. I am an active agent in my programme and listened to rather than just having someone telling me what to do which makes this feel like I am making sustainable changes to my life style that I can continue long term. She is flexible and responsive, particularly as I have PCOS, and so my programme is totally tailored to me and what works for my body. She communicates with me regularly and we work together to ensure that the changes I make are realistic for my life style and that keeps me motivated and accountable. I have gained so much more confidence with working out, am losing weight and becoming more empowered to make lasting changes.
