The machines are out of date, the layout is awful with half the weights in one section and rest in another, missing machines (no leg curl for hamstring) and in general just not a good gym for the money you pay

After trying a few classes, really enjoying the pump classes, they’re motivational and just what I was after! Am going twice a week they’re so good. Great instructors too and good music. I’m not much of a gym goer but they’re something I always look forward to.

This gym fantastic. Staff are helpful and friendly. Equipment great its the best gym I been in. I would recommend pure gym to my friend's. I train there 5 days a week pure gym changed my life. I more healthy now even the people in the gym are helpful friendly. Personnel trainers are brilliant.

Be careful for uneven machines. Specifically leg extensions, ham curl, pecdec/rear delt fly. Also someone continuously moves both leg press machines too close to the wall such that full range of motion is not possible due to the footplate hitting the wall. The other machine the backrest hits the wall.. nonsensical that someone continuously moves it closer to the wall lol

Average gym, open 24/7 and at a decent price. Has everything you need, sometimes can get a little busy and you can struggle to get a rack. Overall pretty decent for the price.

Nice cheap gym in the middle of town. 24 hours means it's always there when you want it - appreciated, as someone who likes to work out late at night. The weight section is pretty decent - 2 weightlifting platforms, 2 flat benches, 3 squat racks. It would be nice to get some heavier kettle bells and sandbags here. Although mostly good, the gym and changing rooms are often a bit grotty. During peak hours, and for the first hour of off peak, it's usually pretty busy - sometimes insanely so.

I tend to go to the classes at this gym, and love it. There are a range of instructors so you get variation on the themes such as abs workout and legs, bums, tums. The instructors are always really friendly, really well prepared, really knowledgeable. The gym itself is well equipped, I have never waited for a running machine, and the weights area is rarely over busy. Also I love the app, it makes it so easy to book and cancel classes. No complaints!

My first experience is a bit eh, don't get me wrong it's a nice place. But the equipment for the weight machines is rusty. Loads of lockers are closed off, but not like Corona closed off, just massive chunks. And finally the WiFi isn't working, otherwise it's fine !

Great gym with all the equipment you need... except maybe a rope attachment for the cable machines 😂 have yet to see one around. Good value and always open which is handy. Air conditioning is a bit too intense for my liking but no windows so I can live with that

The best gym in Brighton, although for my taste is a bit more crowded than I want, it is the best equipped and spacious enough for you yo feel good. Very clean and the staff is very friendly and professional

Really good gym. Fin was really nice to give me a quick intro when I joined and let me in when I had a slight technical issue with the door.

Personally I like this gym, it's just too busy. If you're like me and only get the chance to exercise after work expect a lot of waiting around for benches to become free and forget about the squat rack. Its cheap and no contract, but that means groups of teenagers treating it like a social.. I'm now paying more for a gym i don't like as much so I can keep a quick workout, quick. If you can go at quiet times then all good.

It's a good gym, the staff are friendly, but being the most central and convenient gym in Brighton means it's often over crowded, personally think it Needs more squat racks and barbell benches in place of some of the less used resistance machines. Is a lot better if you get lucky or can come at off peak times.

Lovely gym on London road, doesn't get too busy in the evenings which is a bonus. The equipment is clean and new, though it remains to be seen how long this will continue to be the case for. Most of the trainers are helpful and the classes are always a challenge! Only minor complaint would be the changing of the class timetable, with classes now starting at 17:15 it has become more difficult to get to these classes straight from work, the classes used to start at 17:30.

As someone who feels really uncomfortable in a gym, I agree with Kyle Blackburn's review that it's an unthreatening environment. I'd go so far as to say it can be quite friendly. I tend to go early in the morning so maybe I haven't experienced the peak time busy periods which might feel very different. It's clean, good mix of equipment, great staff and excellent price, plus the central location. I need to give a special mention to one of the personal trainers, Carmen Lucy: I've been training with her for nearly six months now and she might be the main reason why I feel very positively towards this gym. Very professional, thoughtful and has a personalised approach which has given me a renewed confidence about using a gym.

Great range of well taught classes plus the pure gym apps very easy to navigate. Gym is laid out very well and is super clean. I always find the staff friendly and approachable when I have questions. At the moment loving the pilates classes as well as body combat and zumba as well as the gym and I have just started!!

No frills gym which has everything you need and is always kept nice and tidy - weights in order etc. Staff are great and always happy to give tips on exercises and stuff in general. Good selection of equipment, machines and free weights and rarely have to wait to get on anything, the equipment is always in good order too. The only downsides are: 1. They can't seem to get the air con right. It's either really hot or really cold. I'd much rather it was cold than hot as it's unbearable sometimes. 2. The toilets are always blocked in the men's room. I understand this is from people flushing too much paper or whatever but if it's repeatedly happening then why not get better plumbing installed!

Realy pleased . Needed a new gym as came to work in Brighton. It has every bit of equipment you could need, it's cheap, clean and the people all seem nice. Ideally go after 9pm as it's way quieter. If you are ever In doubt I like the fact you can go on the pure gym wed page and it will tell you how many people are currently there. Nifty...

Always seems very clean and the equipment is well maintained. Can get very busy at peak times, but that’s expected from a gym that’s so central. The only real disappointment i’ve had is that there is a new trainer here called Karl who I think is from Australia. He is an absolutely horrid man who frequently makes misogynistic comments to and about women. This isn’t just some way of getting people in his class to work hard - i’ve seen him wink at women and tell them to ‘save the panting for the bedroom later’. It’s a shame he’s a bit of a smear on this otherwise great gym.

Not the biggest puregym that I've been to but had a fair amount of equipment. Worked out between 8 and 9 in the morning and there was plenty of space. Showers was clean also.

They've just upgraded the weights section of the gym (as of 9-Aug 2018) with now two deadlift platforms, and 3 squat racks. In addition to the Smith machine and range of weights. Good stuff for regular weight training.

I joined today and then I went to the gym but the toilet wasn’t work, which is must work at least one , people are drinking a lot of water so toilet must work at all the time .less machines and You need to put extra machines for the gym please
