I absolutely love Sam's zumba classes - I've been coming to them for over 7 years now, and I love the fact that I get a workout while having fun and dancing my heart out! Sam's a brilliant and inspiring teacher, she manages to create a really relaxed atmosphere while at the same time her classes are always challenging me to work hard and push my limits a bit more. The barre classes have been a revelation, in just a few weeks they've improved my posture, strength and confidence (while having fun and enjoying myself)!

I've just started my second term of pilates with Sam Hutchinson fitness and have loved every minute!
The sessions are a good mix of stretching, exercise and fun! Sam herself is lovely, friendly and approachable.
I love that she gives several intensity levels for each exercise so you can tailor it to your own needs and abilities.

Sam never disappoints — after a very long absence from her face to face classes I have recently joined her Barre fitness class on Tuesday evenings at St Helen’s at Alveston. I was welcomed back with open arms and the exercise is already giving me better flexibility which I desperately need. Sam is a great teacher and if you can’t get there one week she will even send you a recording so you don’t miss out! Well worth it !

l have been coming to Sam's Tuesday Pilates class since January and am now much fitter and more motivated to exercise. Sam is a fantastic teacher and is always very encouraging and explains each exercise in detail. The classes are great fun too!

Sam always makes Zumba classes fun, gives you a good workout & is open to ideas/feedback (I’ve been going years!). She regularly retrains to broaden the range classes she is able to offer. Sam's 'recycled teenagers' class is the best! It has been almost as much brain work as footwork. I have enjoyed being motivated and challenged. We will all certainly miss Sam's classes at Thornbury Leisure Centre. Thank you Sam.

I have been to Sam's pilates classes since Jan 2020. Firstly live then zoom throughout lockdown and covid issues and now live again. I had been to pilates in Kent before moving to Thornbury. I find Sam's classes excellent. They are fun and at a good standard with some challenging bits too. She is fun and knowledgeable. If you have a problem, physical or injury she is great at adapting the exercises or giving something personal for you. I really enjoy my classes with Sam. Come and give one a try. She has loads of different ones.

Sam is a fabulous instructor- full of enthusiasm, brilliant targeted exercises and constant enthusiasm. All her routines are deliverable at different levels, so whatever your fitness there is a routine to challenge you. I have attended Sam’s classes for many, many years, and although I have added other fitness ‘guru’ routines, Sans classes have been a constant. Couldn’t be without her - no other word - she’s fabulous!!!! You have to join!!!!

I love Sam's gentle Pilates sessions. They are so good for keeping my back / core strong so my slipped disc doesn't go bad. Sam is such a bubbly and fun trainer, she's lovely! She is very knowledgeable about lower back pain and in the 3 years I've been attending her classes I've made a massive improvement to my overall strength, fitness and balance. Her regular pilates classes are also very good, there's always different levels of the same exercise so that everyone can access it in a way that suits their ability. Her classes are live and on Zoom and you can buy a weekly subscription to videos which you can do when it suits you. I would strongly recommend to anyone to check out her classes and join up. She does Zumba, ballet Barre and more so there's something for everyone!

I have been using the on demand studio for a few months now, I absolutely love it! There is such a huge choice of workouts. So depending on how I’m feeling or how much time I have I usually do Pilates, Barre fitness or an express workout. The fact I can do a workout whenever I want is so good and I use it quite a few times in the week. Very helpful when you work shifts and signing up to a weekly class is difficult! Thanks Sam!

Sam is super supportive , super organised and super flexible in her approach to fitness . I joined her online community through lockdown and it was a 👍 decision. Her lively fun sessions helped my mental + physical well being at a time when I was really missing group exercise. Post lockdown I could nt wait to get started again on Pilates . I was a bit nervous of a new group but everyone is so friendly and now 4 x more friends have come along and enjoy it too . Its light hearted and well paced with levels to suit everyone. After a few weeks I decided to add on a Friday aerobics session and have also done an online Tighten and Tone class - 15 mins only a great start to the morning . A bonus - I ve lost 12 lbs too ! I think what I like with Sam s community is the flexibility and the variety on offer - thankyou Sam.!

Sam is so down to earth, approachable, knows all of the people that attend her classes by name ( there are lot as Sam runs lots of classes) and explains exactly how to get the most from the exercises. Great variety of classes available and the on-line classes that you can do at home - so many!

Sam’s classes are great fun, whilst working those muscles you didn’t know you had! She also has a fab online studio subscription where you can try out all sorts of classes; barre, Zumba, pilates, hiit etc etc, without even having to leave your home.

Love my Zoom Pilates class. Despite it being on Zoom Sam explains all the moves and puts you right if you are not doing it correctly (without naming and shaming!). A very competent instructor who makes the class fun and rewarding

Top notch instructor. Offers many different levels and routines on demand. She is very engaging and available to answer any questions. I live in Canada and found her site by accident, tried it out and have not looked back… I was hooked . She is the best! You will not be disappointed.

I will soon be entering my 3rd year of taking Pilates classes with Sam - though it continues to be challenging which is good it is also fun - there’s a lot of banter and ‘backchat’ which makes it even more enjoyable plus I do feel ‘energised’ at the end of the class
I like the way Sam teaches - completely ‘non judgemental’ you are not singled out by name if you are not quite getting things right so you are never made to feel silly which, as we are mostly ‘people of a certain age’ and maybe not as agile as we thought we were, is important!
I had never taken an exercise class before but certainly wouldn’t give it up now - think that says it all!
