I've enjoyed Helen's Pilates class for many years now. I started Pilates because of lower back issues and it certainly helps my flexibility. Helen is a very good instructor; friendly and helpful. The classes are varied each term and there are always levels within each exercise to suit your ability/needs. I would definitely recommend this class

Helen’s classes have been really helpful for me to maintain some strength and flexibility over time. She has continued on line over the past year and managed to retain her humour and approachability despite the tricky medium.
Great to help lower back problems and as I age the benefits are even clearer.
She’s a clear Instructor and never assumes memory or knowledge which helps us to do the exercises correctly each time. Varied grades exercises to keep interest and make suitable for all levels. Definitely recommend.

I have been attending Helen's Pilates classes for about 9 years and have found them very enjoyable and helpful. I am sure that the classes have helped my general mobility and fitness. Helen varies the exercises and equipment used every term and is unfailingly patient and helpful. She is always ready to find alternative options if an exercise proves too difficult. Helen also has a good sense of humour which helps to make the classes enjoyable as well as beneficial.

I have been attending Helen’s classes for over 10 years twice a week. I have had four quite big ops over the years and I believe Pilates has greatly assisted me in getting back on track. Helen is lovely and there’s no pressure or trying to ‘keep up’, everyone works to their own ability and she is happy to adapt an exercise to suit if necessary. Carry on the good work Helen!

I have been attending Pilates with Helen for approximately 10 years, usually on a Wednesday. If I'm unable to attend on that day Helen will usually let me transfer to a Monday, if there is room. I feel the benefits of pilates, for me, keep my joints supple and help with balance. Helen makes her classes varied and interesting and you are able to work at your own level. Many thanks Helen.

I have attended Helen’s Monday class since she started about 10 years ago!
I started the classes after back surgery and after two other operations and a load of internal metal work I continue to find it beneficial to my general mobility!
Helen adopts a pleasant attitude to the learning environment of the classes and after all these years I have been impressed with her ongoing ability to mix up the courses to avoid boredom!
At other classes the repetition levels drove me away after 8 weeks!
Well done and also for a great bunch of colleagues that make the sessions even more enjoyable!

I have been enjoying Pilates with Helen for many years, attending from October to March on a Monday evening. Helen's approach suits all levels of age (I am one of the oldies ), experience and flexibility and makes a big difference to my core strength, balance and deportment. Well worth turning out in the dark and damp evenings.

Helen's Advance pilates class is really fun and in no way intimidating. However, it is really good for you and has done wonders for my lower back pain (now gone after 10+ yrs of suffering) and my general mobility and flexibility - I can now touch my toes with straight legs, which I've never been able to do before and not bad for a 57 year old male. I started roughly 3 years ago and joined the Advance class after 6-9 months. Highly recommended, whatever level you want to go to.
