Really modern gym, easy to connect my Apple Watch to the equipment to log a workout (if you’re bothered about that). Lots of really decent equipment. Plenty of water/cleaning stations and signage requesting people wipe down equipment after use. Enough staff about and they all seemed really helpful, a kind lady PT showed me how to use the massage equipment - amazed they have all that there for use too! Brilliant gym! Can’t comment on swim or sauna as I was just staying at the hotel for work so did not use.

Really clean and nice gym. All the latest tech as this place is less than a year old. Very helpful staff and great to have unlimited access to the body composition machine to track progress.

Fantastic gym for weights and cardio. Everything very modern. Great pool and sauna only disappointing thing is occasional smell in the pool. You can see staff checking the water often though so no worry of cleanliness.

Amazing gym, will always recommend to others. The staff are polite and helpful. The jacuzzi, Turkish/Russian saunas are great! Gets quite busy around 6pm.

Love this gym. Well spaced out, a good range of equipment and great atmosphere. Pool and sauna are also great. Changing rooms are big with plenty of lockers. Staff are helpful and friendly. Well worth the membership fee.

Joined this gym when it opened in December. All the exercise machines you could possibly want - all kept very clean by the staff regularly checking. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

I do like village gym however cleanliness and general condition has deteriorated during my 12 months there, village gym seen to struggle keeping the place up go together hence only three stars, I appreciate gyms do take a hammering but I think they could do better on cleanliness and maintenance

It's a bit of hit and miss. I subscribed to 12 month gym membership, but honestly despite all it's promise, it fails on so many fronts. Too many things don't work correctly. Constantly have to get new wrist band because they are faulty. And then they don't have any stock! Clearly high staff turnover so morale must be low here, most likely because of customer complaints. It just tries to be too fancy but can't do the basics right. Apps/website are just useless too.

Cant go wrong for the price. Gym, swimming pool, 1 dry and one steam sauna. Staff very helpful and polite. Recommended.

Great place with a fantastic feel, plenty of free weights and machines so everyone can get a decent workout. Only draw back is that because it's part of a hotel you never really know how busy it's going to be and at peak times you'll be lucky to get on anything other than a treadmill. Still good though!

Great gym. The equipment is modern and always clean, although I wish they were a bit less lenient with the wipe down policy; you can't catch everyone though! Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to help.

Love this gym, I'm an off peak user and there's always plenty of space before and after covid. Great classes and equipment, although classes can now be hard to get into with smaller covid sizes. Very clean and friendly staff. The restaurant does good food too.

The equipment is the most advanced with screens and recording for your account. However me being 5`1 none of the machines can record my movement properly. So literally average equipments for me. I liked it at the beginning as it wasnt as crowded but now it picked up and it's getting crowded. There a lot of VR classes but not much fun interactive classes to offer. The price is RIDICULOUS never in my life paid so much. But then again all the gyms around the area are very ridiculous priced as well so marketing standpoint I get it. Overall, I consider this gym as one of my last option as it's overly priced and equipment space and crowdedness is average. The staffs are very nice and friendly tho. They pretty much covers the three stars.

We visited The Village Hotel this week and enjoyed our tour by Leisure Sales Manager, Guy St Leger. The gym facilities were excellent, the bedrooms were very modern and the whole complex was very clean and well maintained. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful and Guy was particularly informative and charming. We look forward to a return visit and to staying in the Hotel on a future visit.

Good gym and facilities. But some of the staff are rude and act like you're inconveniencing them or being stupid. Had at least 3 occasions of staff being rude and incompetent. Never leave reviews but pay a lot for membership and expect better from staff. That being said, all class instructors have been really good.

I've just moved home, so needed to find another gym. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym has a sauna jacuzzi steam room and swimming pool. Brilliant for my needs. Very happy member

Was planning to join this gym so i called for off peak hours lady on the phone she said its 8 till 4 pm if i want to go gym after midnight i should get gold membership which is £60 per month and i wont be able to use other facilities rather than gym and i dont understand how does it come after midnight would not be off peak ? Is it really full of members after midnight ? I was going Anytime fitness i think i will renew my contract with them again.

The gym istelf is amazing , high tech equipment , staff seems to be well trained and organized , the variety of equipment is excellent they have plenty of lessons to choose from , the pool is clean , its not too big so sometimes two lines dedicated for lane swimmin can be crowded , its overall a great place to workout but there is a but , the locker rooms are disgusting , the floors seems to be dirty , the locks are broken for most of the showers , there is awlays hair everywhere , the hair fans a high tech but it doesnt look like anyone is taking any care of them. I would still recomend the gym just dont forget to take slippers for shower trust me you'll thank me later.

For the price it is you'd expect more, limited equipment and space in free weights area. Missing several leg, arm and shoulder machines as well as rear flyes. You can 100% get more for your money.
