Just the friendliest gym. It is well-equipped, tidy, affordable, and their Ladies Only room is my favourite thing. There is no pressure or ego. The classes are excellent too. They went out of their way to continue to provide for their members during lockdown and I really value my membership. Truly, a gym for the people.

My partner and I chose to join this gym just before covid hit, we were dissatisfied with our current gym and wanted to try something new. We joined and have not looked back..!! This gym offers excellent value for money which is always important..!! The gym is well maintained, clean and has a great atmosphere due to the always friendly and welcoming staff. The way in which we are updated and kept in the loop about new offers/ covid guidelines/ classes etc is really appreciated. ( Staff videos amazing)👍🏻 It’s just a shame they can’t hand out a magic wand... unfortunately working out is damn hard but it helps to workout at this gym !! Keep up the good work The workout family 🤪😜

Ridiculously good value for money. The gym is welcoming and not intimidating at all when so many can be. The range of classes is amazing, especially the early morning 6.30am ones which are at an ideal time for me personally and the instructors are so friendly and supportive. Feel really lucky to be a part of this gym and have it so nearby. 5 stars!

Been a member of a few gyms around the country over the years and Workout is the best*. Good range of equipment, staff are amazing and other members generally really friendly too. *should probably caveat that by saying I've never been to fancy expensive gyms, so can't compare there, but the best out of ones I've been to!

I’ve been coming to this holy grail for donkeys years. I work local so it’s perfectly situated to give me my ME time( away from running the kids around) and a good workout 4 x days a week. The gym is clean with plenty of room over 4 floors, giving you choice of a huge range of equipment.The staff are extremely friendly and amiable always on tap to help. It’s an independent concern which I think gives it the edge to all the corporate gyms. Keep up the good work guys.

Staff always welcoming, broken machines getting fixed regularly, 10/10 value for money. Customer service excellent. Spoke with ‘Craig’ who made it really easy to cancel membership and looking forward to joining back in summer

Cracking gym, all the equipment you'll need and friendly helpful staff. Being able to have a sauna and then a cold shower is a bonus too and not offered in other gyms. For the price it's an absolute bargain and it's great to support a local independent business.

This is the first gym i've joined for 10 years.After lockdown the puppyfat got too much so i jumped in with a monthly membership. I go every morning now! and, do the yoga classes twice a week. The membership fee is very reasonable! The staff are friendly, and the equipment is in great condition. I feel amazingly fit now!!!

I joined Workout Bristol Harbourside a month ago and love it. Great gym , squash facilities are really good, squash club night is just what I needed. Friendly staff, nice place, great bar with sports, right on the harbourside. What more could you want?

A well-run, well-equipped gym where the people are friendly and you never feel nervous or intimidated. A great range of classes too. And it’s very reasonably priced! Oh, and they always play great music.

I've been a member since 2019, and I love it. The only reason why I don't give them 5 ✨ is because they mention there's sauna and steaming rooms facilities and I haven't seen them anywhere hehehe. Cheeky markcomms strategy?

I am in no way under pressure in giving a 5 star review to this gym. Otherwise, I have been going to this gym from the beginning and cannot fault this place at all. This is definitely a second home for me and every staff members are very friendly as you can have chilled conversation or a serious one! Cancelling my membership is not an option!

Fantastic gym, joined a couple of month's ago and very glad I did. As a novice I haven't felt intimidated at all, I used the brilliant range of classes to get an idea of what I should be doing and a very reasonably priced programme session for a more personalised plan. The women's weights room is great for those of us a little bit nervous about being judged - it's a very chilled, friendly attitude in there - but as a whole the gym is pretty friendly with people just carrying on with their own workouts. A great range of equipment, even when it's busy there's always something free somewhere. Also really great value for money - individual sessions for non members is £7.50 so a £19.99 monthly membership works out to be a great bargain (I'm now going consistently 3/4 times a week). Fab gym, great value and really nice atmosphere

I used to go to the Workout group gyms when I lived in Bristol and it's still by far my favourite. Perfect proportion of equipment set up, family run, genuinely nice staff, well maintained equipment and occasionally a doggo at reception to welcome you. I come back when I'm visiting family and I'm never disappointed. Thanks crew!

Signed up to workout yesterday, it was fab! Hand sanitizer everywhere, loads of different workout spaces and everyone was really lovely and respectful. I struggle to feel comfortable at gyms but felt like I fit right in here already! Would fully recommend to anyone.. absolute bargain aswell ☺️

I love classes with Paul! heres one of 2 reason why I'm still in Workout! he gives 150 percent of himself to spin and works with us. He is perfect example of trainer. 💞 About gym in Ashton: gym is after great renovation plus sides lady's room what I really appreciate and sauna so that's great. Would be nice to have mirrors in upper room also.Gym is also very cheap and it's local business. Worth to give it a go.

I have been a member here for a few years. Fantastic value for money, offering a wide range of brilliant classes and teachers. The best classes by far in my opinion are Paul Orchards spin, spin and core and Interval training. Be prepared to work very hard but the results are amazing. If you are looking for more training Paul also offers personal training sessions.

Really good value for money, and the classes are just brilliant! A lot of machines have been replaced by new ones, including the ones in the main gym and all the spin bikes in the studio. The class times are also good and you can do double classes, one after another. The only annoying time is parking if there’s a game on at Ashton Gate, otherwise you can usually find a space in the car park or on the road.

Workout is a fab gym, all the classes are brilliant. By far my favourite is Paul spin. He obviously spends a lot of time planning all classes, and they are different every week. Perhaps if you have only been to one class maybe you might think his classes are hardcore, however he has a great sense of humour and he is trying to get the best out of everyone, encouraging everyone to do their best, whatever their level. I look forward to my weekly classes, and the excellent playlist. Thanks Paul 😀😀

After paying extortionate amounts of money for my monthly gym membership at various gyms over the last 10 years, I think Workout is amazing value for money and a great little gym. It's got all I need in a gym, just without the added extras that bumps up the membership price (eg they don't provide towels), with a good number of cardio machines, weight rooms (even a women only one) and a comprehensive range of exercise classes. The staff are always welcoming and on hand if you need help.

A great local gym that has multiple work out zones. The building is not massive and sometimes space feels tight but the machines are good, the layout is sensible and the staff are helpful. There Is a seperate workout area available for women if they prefer and the weight room is in the basement giving the free weights plenty of space. For full-time members the gym also offers classes that start bright and early and are booked the day before. There is a wide range of class options ranging from very active like Zumba to more relaxing yoga. Overall I'd say the monthly cost balances out with the perks.

Having read a review from an un-happy member regarding Pauls spin class, I felt that I needed to almost defend him and his classes. Having joined the gym over 5 years ago I can honestly say that he is probably one if the most motivating instructors I have ever had the pleasure to be taught by. So much so that I opted to do some personal training with him. He is passionate about his profession and I have never heard or seen him single anyone out with the kind of insults that the lady suggests that he said, to some it may come across as hard , its not that at all he just wants to get the best out of the people that choose to book onto one of his classes. The gym is probably one of the most friendly ones around, with all round good value for money and excellent instructors.

This is a large well equipped gym. All the cardio and resistance weight machines you'd need. A good amount of rowers and cross trainers which is my preference. Great staff really polite, friendly and helpful. Expert advice is available from the gym instructors, Personal Trainers and the resident Nutritionist. The owner also runs Superhuman Games and is very involved in the day today running. This makes Workout better than the chains but with the kit you need for a good sesh! Parking is easy and location in South Bristol is good for me too! Great prices and loads of free classes too.

Overwhelmingly well managed coronavirus prevention measures! Joined the gym post lockdown and trained at a few larger chain gyms since, who’s cleanliness and precautions don’t come close to that of Workout Bristols. By far the safest and cleanest gym I’ve trained at.

Paul is his name and he has been teaching spin at workout, very successfully, for quite a while. I have attended his spin classes for about 5 years also the tough Saturday spin and core class. He’s great- direct about everyone doing their best and being the best version of themselves - this is to motivate and engage his classes, never to offend. He is able to laugh at himself and also take his role as the teacher seriously, changing up routines and music to keep things fresh. Big love for Paul and his classes- I’d train with him everyday if I could ❤️
