It has been a delight to be back at Operation Fitness. The world has changed considerably in recent months - but the gym has handled the situation superbly. The facilities are clean - the safety procedures in place are clear and easy to follow - and the staff are extremely helpful, either in the cafe or in the gym. In my mind, the finest gym/fitness facility in Cardiff!

Fantastic location and facilities in the heart of Cardiff Bay. The best training facility with the best equipment that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Fantastic professional PT’s who are available throughout. With the tailored nutrition plan and tailored workout plan I have seen my best gains in years. No other gym comes close.

I travel to come to this place because it’s completely unrivalled and the benefits far out way the general mainstream gyms. I attended a HIIT class which was a good mix of being welcoming and not intimidating but also challenging and extremely sweaty! Great gym with lovely equipment and friendly trainers. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Cardiff area.

My new happy place! Everything you want in a gym: friendly atmosphere, very knowledgeable staff, an owner with a heart of gold and a great boxing coach and all following COVID-guidelines! Definitely recommended.

This new gym has been ideal for me to continue my training as it is in a prime location with easy access. The panoramic views are exceptionally astounding and make using the treadmill; my morning ritual. Seriously, watching the sun come up over Mermaid Quay when it's so peaceful is a mental work-out by itself. The gym has all the equipment you could wish for and a few new machines which help me to achieve that all-body work-out. Ciprian and Owen, with their wealth of knowledge combined, are instrumental in offering key advice for helping me with my fitness goals. Cheers guys! I highly recommend taking a HIIT class to burn those extra calories too. Bonus feature, is the studio. Used for yoga and boxing fitness, it overlooks a scene of greenery, shrubs and trees which make this space a serene haven for any yogini. Make this your new stop, you will not regret it.

I have trained with Owen the owner of Operation Fitness for about 8 years When he opened his gym in Sept 2019 i decided to join The Gym and equiptment is amazing the location is great and there are great classes on most days I always look forward to my visits to this suberb gym and the organice smoothies tast real good

I truly enjoy operation Fitness, lovely people and really nice environment. The staff and the owner are very welcoming and friendly. The coffee shop, the smoothies and the view, such a great combo. I practiced Boxing, it was really fun and challenging. I enjoyed the gym facilities and the Boxing classes (from beginners to pro) everything was on point. Love it!

So I reluctantly ended up taking on the nutritional plan that Owen eventually talked me into (I thought I could achieve my results by just training, wtaf) and committed to dry Jan and Feb plus eating plan. I continued with my daily walking routine of circa 10 mpd during this period. Results are a loss of 20lbs in total which is a combo of fat loss but inevitably some muscle loss. The great news is though I can return to the gym with out the need for weigh loss, which is a first for me. Thanks Ows for nagging me !!

Great gym and fitness club- equipment is the best in Wales and the support, encouragement and knowledge from the Operation fitness Team is excellent- This is a different type of gym- where you will receive individual support from trainers who know what they are talking about., I would highly recommend this place for all levels, and the location- looking over the water to the Bay is fabulous.

Went for my induction here today after many years of avoiding gyms. I've always seen them as very intimidating places, and stayed away. Operation Fitness seemed a bit different somehow. I'm so glad I went. Owen was extremely professional and offered lots of instruction and advice. I felt completely at ease with everything, with no pressure. The equipment was very smooth and easy to operate. Good for a novice like me. I'm now actually looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much for a great first experience.

Fab boutique gym with glorious views of Mermaid Quay with a very friendly coffee/smoothie bar that is also open to the public. Very nice lady Owen's mum makes a lovely coffee.

This gym is in a fantastic location , the equipment is first class and really suits the kind of people looking to train in a clean, modern, exclusive environment. The exclusive nature of the gym means you can train uninterrupted without the stress of loads of people waiting, and it means the staff are on hand to provide friendly, professional, bespoke advice ! The equipment is state of the art and they offer group classes with like minded clientele... you really do get what you pay for, and even then it's very really good value!

Nothing but the best at this gym in terms of equipment, personal trainers and location. I am able to create a perfect mix of training alone and also taking part in classes, whilst also taking the opportunity to socialise afterwards with the team and other gym members at the smoothie bar! There is such a great atmosphere created from the enthusiasm and helpful attitude Owen and the team all have to ensure everyone achieves their goals and objectives as members. The gym layout, equipment and classes all provide an inclusive environment for all fitness levels.

I have always been a bit intimidated by going to the gym but the staff here are so welcoming and the whole gym has a very friendly relaxed atmosphere. I feel very comfortable there and everybody that attends to use the gym Is incredibly friendly. It’s in a perfect picturesque location overlooking Cardiff bay, with plenty of equipment, an well trained staff always at hand ready to help. There’s soon to be a coffee/smoothie shop opening at the gym that will serve passers by as well as gym members. There will be a nice little outdoor covered terrace where you will be able to stop and relax. I’m Looking forward to finishing My gym sessions in the summer with a nice refreshing cool down an a friendly chat while watching the world go by. Definitely the best most relaxing, friendly, and least intimidating gym I’ve been to an it’s a great feeling to be a member of such a special and unique place.

An excellent local gym with a personal touch, agreeable coaches and extensive equipment. We chose it to work out while in Cardiff during a four-month business trip. It was welcoming, casual but efficient with advice if you wanted it but not when you didn't. Highly recommended.
