Friendly gym, good range of equipment and never too busy so you can always get a good workout. Very reasonably priced as well. Handy to have parking right outside.

Very impressed. Now in my 70's , I decided to get fit again and had 2nd Induction from Gary the manager this morning. Patiently he went through 5 machines he felt I needed in order to get fit for a man of my age. Each machine is cleaned by the member after its use where your hands have been. Very impressed and intend to go twice/ three times a week. Big plus was there were quite a few senior citizens there as well as younger groups.

Joined Energies this week. Reduced monthly fee for the 1st three months then a very reasonable monthly rate. Very friendly staff who showed me around and explained in great detail whats on offer and the two types of membership. A very friendly and knowlegable personal trainer who is there 2 help and advise if required. My first three daily visits on a row and feeling positive about the future. 5***** and why not?! I’ve been to ALOT of gyms and this bar far is the BEST gym I’ve been too. I don’t sit outside in the car change my mind and go home. The customer service via staff is wonderful, they are so friendly and accommodating, always willing to go extra mile. The members are lovely and the vibe is great, members are friendly, clientele is a good mix of diverse and eclectic range and the age group varies anywhere from young adolescent to an older age range, and where possible everyone is willing to help each other and cheer each other on. Classes are hit and miss however not down to the gym mainly external instructor change overs. But that’s to be expected. Under new management and she is friendly and hands on - speaks to members as much as the staff on the floor and always makes a point of greeting or talking to members! Great PTs as friendly as the members and the staff - They also all have extensive knowledge base and willing to help or advise members! Don’t be daunted by the idea of going to a gym - not every gym ticks all the boxes, however this one is worth the membership and will surprise you given the chance!

New to this gym. It is well laid out, has everything required to meet your requirements and better than that: everyone is friendly and willing to talk to you even if they don't know you. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and will take the time to demonstrate anything that you may be unsure of - BEST VALUE around town.

Good Gym. Clean, Friendly Staff, and best of all its not over subscribed like most gyms so there is never a long wait for equipment. Has a Large CV area. Smith Machine, large number of free weights and stacks. Also a desent crossfit rig in the centre. Also has a Studio running regular classes and PTs. Very, Very good value for money!!!

Been a member & regular visitor for a couple of months now. Has everything I need in a gym, small, friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. Good mix of classes/ cv/ fixed and free weights. Would recommend - and cheaper than the local competition!

With regard to the review above about switching the lights off while the reviewer's wife was in the pool. This must be a mistake since this gym does not and never has had a pool. I think the reviewer is confusing it with fitness4less.

Friendly new gym Been a few times since it opened at staff friendly and plenty of equipment. Handy to have changing rooms and showers (that some 'budget' gyms don't)

Great place, all age groups, good staff.. As for the review about being left in the pool with lights turned off, they must be talking about somewhere else.
