PureGym is a friendly gym where you do exactly what you want. If you want to do high impact exercises that's up to you and the equipment is available. If you are self motivated its up to you, the gym will cater for your own specific needs. If you want some extra support, there are friendly staff who are happy to support you on one to one basis. If you want to join the classes, you are more than welcome to do so and work as a group. The bathrooms are very clean. Staff are constantly cleaning and sanitizing the equipment to ensure there are no outbreaks of Covid. There is a variety of equipment which you can use and there are no incidents where people have to wait to use a particular equipment. If you are not too sure about a piece of equipment, about 95% of the staff are approachable hence you are free to ask. There is free parking for 2 hours. The gym is never congested as it is a 24 hour gym. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to join a gym. Please go to Skydome PureGym. You wont regret it.

A very good gym. The price of £20 a month is excellent for the service you get. Staff are friendly and as long as you have a routine it's one of the best places in coventry to go to work out. Hygiene is excellent with people cleaning equipment before and after use.

From the time I entered the gym I notice this staff member, really taking pride in the way she was cleaning all the equipment. The gym was spotless and well maintained. I asked her name at the end of my routine and she told me her name was Molly and she is the assistant manager. This was by far the best Puregym I've attended. 👍🏼

Great value flexible memberships with a good range of equipment and helpful staff. Recently had changing rooms refurbished which are smart, secure and has lockers (note: these will require a personal padlock to use). Facilities are a little tired in places and estate issues aren't resolved as quickly as you'd hope. However really good and would recommend.

Went before COVID and again I have started to go to puregym. They have got free car parking for 2 hours. They have got all the equipments you will need. Monthly fees are reasonable.

Good range of equipment, some of the equipment is looking tired and in need of some tlc. The water fountains just about dribble water out. Also at peak times the gym is very very full, to the point where you have to wait for benches and machines for long periods of time. I'll be going back to a less commercial gym.

Manager was so nice and pleasant it has lots of equipment and a varied range too. Different areas for different types of workouts has a really high ceiling which is very important for someone tall like myself and there's an alternative training area in the centre which I made good use of and I encourage others to do the same. Best 24 hour gym in Coventry by far the location is one of the reasons being central is a massive bonus

A decent gym for the price you pay. I mainly visit after work around peak time and haven't found too much issue with equipment being available. I've been attending for over a month however and the second water fountain is still broke with no signs of being repaired any time soon. EDIT: As of December '19 the water fountain is working again

For a first timer in the dome, there is a lack of proper directions to the gym but after 15 minutes, I found it 👍 and I'm good at orientation. The car park is horrendous, 17 levels almost full to the max...but it's good it exists and that you get 2 hours of free parking when you go to the gym. The gym itself is great, staff is helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed.

Great gym bit of a maze but provides a lot of equipment and seems to add more.. just recently added a hex bar. You do get 2hr free parking.. same you cannot get an extra 30min. Great pure gym

Really happy with this gym. A very reasonable price for quite a large gym. Its usually rather quite up until 6 , which is when it does get really busy. But overall its got a very good range of weight lifting and cardio equipment

Good size gym with free Sky Dome parking (scan your ticket in the gym). The gym has lots of kit including weight machines, cardio and free weights. Being 24 hrs is a positive and gives users (particularly parents), with plenty of flexibility to keep fit. When I visited it was circa 9pm on a Saturday night. The gym still had plenty of people, so you don't feel like you are training alone. Limited staff are available and they let you do your own thing. I believe they leave by 10pm, which is still a plus if advice is needed for most people. Pros Cheap Clean New lockers (can hold a large holdall) New showers Plenty of kit No waiting for kit (I visit late) Cons Shower temperature (feels scalding hot)

Really good gym, I’m using 3 years ago. The reason of 4 stars: I didn’t see any improvements on machines. ( no, I didn’t forget the full change room refurbishment, that’s absolutely fine) If a machine broke down, the repair takes 3-5 weeks which isn’t acceptable in a busy gym like this. Cold, sometimes extremely cold inside. I’ve broke down (tonsillitis) two times in 3 weeks which is 100% related the over cooled gym and the stupidly placed air conditioning units which is directly blows cold air on your sweaty body from the ceiling. I don’t know why need to be 15 Celsius in the gym all the times but really cold.

Great price, great equipment, sadly almost no free barbells. There was one when I was there and people were queuing up for it. There are other barbells available, but they are always attached to machines. Clearly they have safety in mind but you can't do a good deadlift at this gym.

Air conditioning can be way too cool for some of the classes, especially the yoga, but the classes are brilliant. The instructors are friendly, even when they're shouting at you to put more effort into it! Disco lights in the gym can take some getting used to, but the variety and number of machines is fantastic. There's a good number of personal trainers if you want one, and they're always happy to help with ad-hoc queries. Female changing room is generally clean and tidy, and the showers are just the right temperature (although the fact they turn themselves off can be annoying!). Steven and Chris the managers are responsive, and have certainly replied to all of my feedback. And the 2 hours free parking is fab. Am so pleased to have found a gym which is brilliant, but not extortionate!!!

Good 24/7 gym that I use when other gyms are closed. Has all the basics needed for a workout. However, dumbells could be heavier and the benches have far too much cushioning/ padding so feet can barely reach floor when doing bench press. Height of benches also makes kicking up slightly treacherous and if you do have to 'drop' weights softly welcome to snap city. This seems to be the same across most Puregyms I have visited. If they invested in some quality benches definitely looking at 5*.

Its okay for price , but in most of time it is full with people and need to wait in long queue. Also there is a problem when you need to left valuables in the locker when you want to take shower or ... plenty of thieves around and often things there are getting missing. I've been working with Hannah as my PT for three months and i'm in the best shape i've been in since 2020. Hannah understands my goals and the pressures of work/life and designs my programme around that. As a PT she first and foremost tracks my form, strength gains, and is my cheerleader. I train less now but the results speak for themselves, my waist is three inches smaller, i'm lifting heavier with good form, but above all i'm happier and confident in myself. I wish i'd started training with her earlier.

This is arguably the best PureGym in Coventry as they have more equipment than the other two, Bishop Street and Warwickshire Retail Park. You get free parking at the Sky Dome car park but u need to obtain a ticket at the barriers on entrance to the car park then validate the ticket using the ticket machines conveniently placed by the exit of the gym so u won't forget. Free parking is for 2hrs though

Great gym and ive been going here for years, just watch out for peak times between 4pm and 9pm. It does get pretty rampacked between these times. There are lots of machines to use and pieces of cardio equipment, they also have 2 weights room, a studio for gym classes another small room filled with kettle bells and gym balls for abs, a spinning room for cardio classes ect and another small place for abs bodyweight exercise activities with yoga mats. Quite a decent gym with lots of personal trainers and ofcourse they have changing rooms and toilets, not to mention vending machines with protein snacks and shakes if your feeling peckish or thirsty! The gym has free water machines anyway. If you want to visit you can always come through and visit just to see what its like before signing up and the personal trainers will be your guide. You can turn up with your gym kit and sign up right there in the gym as they have computers just for that and they have a daily pass if you dont want to sign up for a month.

In need of a refurb & new equipment. 2018 update the changing rooms have been refurbed and a lot lot better but compared to other puregyms in the area the equipment is still older and could do with a update further update ; start of a part refurbishment planed for July 2018

Avoid peak times at it very crowded and may have to wait really long times to get equipment if you do decide to go during peak expect workout to take much longer then expected as you'll be waiting for weights then actual work out. Air conditioner sucks compared to bishop Street pure

As a southerner who works in London and Berkshire and has a gym membership in Reading which costs me 45 quid. How anyone can give this place less than a 4 is a shocker. Im sorry but even if you go to other puregyms this has a massive set of free weights and machines and its 15 quid. I dont know a gym that is better value in the UK. This place reminds me of the south of the US in terms of value. I live in coventry 4 days a week and really i get to use an incredible gym for one pound a session.

Really good pure gym, good location as its quite close too town if you need to do a quick shop on the way home. They parking is free up too 2 hours for members in the storage car park, just enter your registration on the right once you enter the gym. Got all the basic equipment, does tend to get busy if you go in the afternoon but very quiet in the morning

I am new to any gym. Dont know much about exercise. But i am giving 5 out of 5 to this gym. Why? On my first day at gym i bought pure gym locker lock for £6. There is a little trick to set your own password, which i missed and i made lock un useable. Mean while while i was struggling with locks number combination the gym manager came to and asked if i need help. I explained him the situation, he tried to reset the combination for few moments but could not set it. Now i lost my £6 because lock was not useable for me. The manager took my lock from me a gave me brand new lock without wasting time. Not only this he set the new combination for me. Super excellent customer service. Many thanks Mr Manager and pure gym SkyDome Coventry.
