The only pure gym I have used but overall experience was great easy to get access through the app. The entry tubes are a tad claustrophobic but once you've done it a few times. Normally getting in at 630 and busy but not crowded so plenty of choices for machines or benches. The classes seem well attended and good atmosphere.

It is open 24/7. The app is well made and you can always see how many people are in the gym and when to decide to go, for example I prefer to work out when there are the fewest people. It was recently loaded with your new and different attachments for many of the machines... This is my gym, I highly recommend it , to me for sure to fill my soul I would say that if there was a punching bag somewhere in the corner it would be irreplaceable.

I only stayed in Dunfermline for 5 weeks because of my work, so I was looking for a gym that I could join only for short-term, meaning no contract. And Pure Gym was definitely the best option, as they offer a 30-day pass which is exactly what I needed. If I ever return to Dunfemline I will definitly go back to Pure Gym. I also love the fact that is open 24/7, big plus!

Great friendly gym that's has something for everyone with a good atmosphere...Instructors are mostly very professionable & good at motivating gym members during classes always approachable .Only down side is that cleanliness is niot always maintained a small minority of gym members don't clean equipment after they have used it which is not a good reflection on the gym Long standing regulars have noticed a drop in standards in recent months with new members not adhering to good hygiene practice.

Nicely equipped gym, good spacious layout, love the 24/7 opening hours, can get an early morning workout in. Been going for 3 months now and cannot say there is much to complain about. The weight plates are all over the place usually every morning, but as I am there super early, it is not a big deal. Other than that, great wee gym to work out at!

Overall I'd say this is a nice clean gym, they have a great selection of equipment, with them being open 24 hours is extremely handy as well as there being the showers for everyone to use as well. They have been regularly cleaning the gym and keep everything in excellent condition.

Great gym. Really enjoy the simplicity of PureGym. You go in, do what you need to do and then get out. Well equipped with lots of machines and free weights. A large area to do floor exercises and a good selection of classes. One of the better PureGyms that I've been too.

Good gym and great atmosphere in the place with all the equipment always clean etc Couple of points I would like to make is 1 the showers in the men's are really weak and not hot at all, at best they are warm. Could be doing with the temperature and pressure being turned up. 2 is there is always a group of staff standing in front of the vending machines talking instead of walking around the gym floor offering assistance and encouragement to anyone.

Love this gym! Unfortunately as I have now moved outwith of Dunfermline, my local Puregym is Kirkcaldy which is nowhere near as huge and doesn't offer as many classes, but yet more expensive?- but this Dunfermline one, fab value for money and amazing classes on offer!

Recently joined the gym to improve fitness and health. Had good induction and walk round by Nathan. Wide variety of equipment, ample room to do your own exercise regime if you wish. Large variety of classes available, most free, you just need to book. Open 24/7, access via pin number issued when you join. Only dislike i have is the very claustrophobic cubicles. Punch in your pin number, door slides open, closes behind you then couple of seconds and door in front of you opens and step into the gym. Same on way out. It is like stepping into a big round clear perspex tube! Changing rooms and showers very clean which is better than other gyms I have used. A very functional facility for the money - £19.99 monthly + £15 joining fee.

For the money, it really is very good. Staff are on the whole, very friendly (Gerry!). Changing rooms / showers are clean. Couple of niggles. You need to enforce some parking standards. I understand that you are busy / popular, but you cannot inconvenience the public by continually having people parking on the pavements. I've watch mothers with prams being forced onto the road by cars parked on the pavements. This is a daily occurance. Why should the infirm / visually impaired be forced onto the road or the grass embankment because members are too lazy to drive into the retail park, and walk back to the puregym? You should also have antiseptic wipes available so I can wipe down machines before and after use. People are just not doing this, or using their sweaty towels, which is pretty horrible. Puregym also asked for feedback for their own website, but then wouldn't publish these words, presumably because I'd criticised a couple of things.....so here are those words on Google Reviews instead. These points aside, it's good., and I'd rcommend it.

Worths for the price as it's cheap, although you don't have a lot of options of the same machines, if you want to you shall wait on a line or give it up. Even when going really early (like 6 am) there's already some waiting to do... but there's no many options around so...

On holiday from NZ so I needed a gym nearby and PureGym fit the bill. This is a modern gym well spaced out with all the kit expected. I liked the separated areas for weight based and conditioning being opposite ends of the building. Along with the studios and cardio at either end too. This layout suited me because i could adapt my workout and I tended to come in early 6-6.30am. However when you enter the building, (through the space age tube thing), you walk into the stationary machines. To me this looked cluttered and obstructed my vision when looking for the changing rooms. Btw changing rooms and loos were spotless. Sanitising stations everywhere. Equipment well maintained. As I had left the Mat and at that moment I turned on the camera and filmed the panel with my usage information, mainly time and distance, turned off the camera but did not turn off the mobile and went looking for a second machine to use, because yesterday it was my 2nd day at the gym, and there comes this guy, student I believe, not compatible with the level of the gym, because he has a big head, triangular shape, maybe 1.85 meters tall, rude, and I was afraid of being physically attacked I watched him on the street and watched him leave, making sure he didn’t follow me to physically attack me outside. It was a terrible and embarrassing situation for me, seen by others present at that time. Then a PureGym employee politely approached me, I was sure I was pale in color, and asked me: are you alright? Did I say, Me? She Yes! Which machine you want to use, I didn't understand it well, as I said above, English is not my 1st language; then I only did point to 3 sides of the gym and I didn’t point to the left side for fear of the gesture. She said Go. So I continued with my exercises, as I am 73 years old and I need to exercise. In time I say that I am legal in the United Kingdom, I have always been in this country since 2006 where I have descendants and my Passport is with VISA Ok. Apesar de um brutamontes me ter tratado com linguagem marginal ontem, brutas, não as entendi todas, pois inglês não é minha 1° língua, mas deu para sentir o tom delas ameaçadoras, falas muito altas para toda academia ouvir, me acusando que eu estava filmando as pessoas com meu mobile. Tal fato neguei de pronto, eu não estava filmando. Como tinha saído da Esteira e naquele momento eu liguei a câmara e filmei o painel com minhas informações de uso, principalmente tempo e distância, desliguei a câmara mas não desliguei o mobile e fui procurando uma segunda máquina para usar, pois ontem foi meu 2° dia na academia, e aí surge esse tal sujeito, aluno creio eu, não compatível com o nível da academia, pois ele possui a cabeça grande, formato triangular, talvez 1,85 metros de altura, rude, e quetive medo de ser agredido fisicamente por ele e na rua fiquei observando ao sair, certificando que ele não me seguia para me agredir fisicamente fora daí. Foi uma situação péssima e constrangedora para mim, vistos por outros presentes naquele momento. Em seguida uma funcionária da PureGym educadamente se aproximou de mim, pois com certeza eu estava pálido de cor, me perguntou: você está bem? Eu disse, Eu? Ela Sim! Qual máquina quer usar, fiquei sem entender bem, como já disse acima inglês não é minha 1° língua; em seguida só fiz apontar para 3 lados da academia e não apontei para o lado esquerdo por medo do gesto. Ela disse Go. Então continuei com meus exercícios, pois tenho 73 anos de idade e preciso fazer exercício. Em tempo digo que estou legal no Reino Unido, sempre venho a este país desde 2006 onde tenho descendentes e meu Passaporte está com VISA Ok.
