I’ve been training at CrossFit DHM on and off for about 3-4 Years now. The workouts are always a challenge but there’s never any pressure to carry out movements or exercises that you’re not comfortable with. The coaching team (with Dave at the head) are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Team workouts on a Friday are brilliant, as are Strongman Saturdays. If you’re looking to give your fitness a big push in the right direction, this it a great place to be.

Crossfit DHM is like my second home and my family . I’ve trained here for about 5 years and I still love it . I love varied exercise and you never know what you will be doing, from learning how to lift weights safely to rowing to rope climbs. I love how every movement can be modified to suit your ability. People think you have to be fit to do CrossFit , but it’s doing CrossFit that gets you moving and gets you fit . It works For Both body and mind thanks to a great community and of coaches !

I've been a member of multiple CorssFit gyms throughout the UK and CrossFit DHM personifies what CrossFit is and should be. Dave, Joyce and their team of coaches epitomise community. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome by all members. In addition the coaching quality is high and will push you beyond what you think you are capable of. The coaches all take the time to learn your current skill level and work with you personally to take you to the next level. All workouts are clearly explained and demonstrated as well as being adapted to skill levels. I've made more progression at CrossFit DHM than anywhere else. Thoroughly recommend stepping away from the larger chain and corporate gyms where you are membership number and training with people who see you as a person and take the time to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

Dave and all of the coaches are the BEST I have experienced! The authenticity of their gym shows how it is always filled with people pushing each other, focusing on intensity over using a "heavier weight"...You'd think a 15 minute workout is "not too bad" until you are THIRTY SECONDS into it! Definitely give them a try, even if you've never picked up a weight, the community aspect makes you want to come back again and again.

CrossFit DHM is a great place to train, regardless of your ability/fitness. The coaches are extremely helpful, friendly and a joy to work with. I’m 75 years young now and retired. I started Crossfit DHM 8 years ago and still going strong. It’s a great place to get and keep fit, knowledgeable and caring coaches create a fitness regime that suits all capabilities and aspirations. There is also a terrific community atmosphere of encouragement and support, fun and variety. Highly recommended. Crossfit DHM really is ideal for all ages and all abilities

After dipping in and out of different types of training I was recommended to try Crossfit, Walking into Crossfit DHM, nerves were immediately eradicated by the fantastic welcome from the members and coaches. Dave, Joyce, Mark, Joe, Rosi and Kelley have a massive amount of knowledge and are always there to help, support and tailor training to your ability, I can honestly say I am in the best shape mentally and physically I have ever been in. The atmosphere, environment and training is first class and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Best of all your first session is FREE so you have nothing to lose.

Into my third year at DHM now and never regretted a minute of it. At the age of 66 I'd never been to a gym. I was doing lots of running and sustaining a few minor leg strains. A friend recommended DHM as a way of varying my training. I went to meet Dave, tentatively gave it a try and was immediately hooked. What I was most worried about was my age and complete lack of experience. The friendliness and helpfulness of the members took care of the first one. The expert coaching by Dave, Joyce and the team soon sorted the second. The ease with which all workouts can be scaled is a massive plus point....and you know what....no one judges you on what weight you can manage, how high you can jump, how strongly you can row. You get encouragement from everyone during the workout and congratulated at the end of your session. I've just completed my second Crossfit games and achieved standards I wouldn't have dreamt I could do two years ago. It's a good feeling. I was recently on holiday and felt totally confident using a hotel gym, devising my own workout and performing it competently regardless of who else was in there. Approaching 70, I feel as though Crossfit DHM has given me a whole new perspective on managing my physical fitness and maintaining a happy and healthy mental attitude in handling the ageing process. If you're considering it, do it.

Where do I start....this place makes you feel amazing! The coaches are so supportive, they encourage you to push yourself beyond your limits to develop and grow in strength and fitness. Fantastic Crossfit box and the coaches excellent. WODs are adaptable to your level of fitness and experience. Everyone makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter the box, which is great when you feel nervous upon joining for the first time.
