Pilates classes with Johanna are a true joy! She is just the right combination of knowledgeable, calming, and funny. She’s really passionate about her craft, takes the time to make every class feel different, and tries to incorporate any specific needs the participants may have. The hour always flies by with lots of laughs. I highly recommend trying out one of her classes.

I found a very enjoyable pilates class at Lark Pilates. Johanna is very knowledgeable in her subject and I feel my body fitness has improved since I started a few months ago. Importantly she makes you exercise and having fun at the same time!

Johanna is a fantastic Pilates teacher - her classes are always relaxed and enjoyable. She focuses on different aspects of Pilates each week, such as stretching, strengthening and toning and has helped me feel stronger over the last few months. The classes have been a real rock during the (hopefully temporary) changeover from face-to-face classes to online classes.
Johanna has kept her instructions clear, which makes it possible to follow her even during poses when you can't see the screen.
I would definitely recommend Lark Pilates to everyone!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes that I have undertaken with Lark Pilates - beginner that I am! There are classes for all levels so if you are super experienced do not be put off.
Johanna , the teacher, is very encouraging indeed and clearly knows her stuff as she talks quite a lot about which set of muscles we will be working and how. She always states that we should work within our own limits and never force anything and is very clear with her directions. We can watch online her doing the exercises herself which is very helpful indeed. Doing it online is a bit different - but it does mean that there is no travelling time involved! I would highly recommend Lark Pilates.

I started Pilates for the first time at the age of 50 a few months ago on the advice of a friend who said that Johanna was a brilliant teacher. She was right. Johanna is really good at explaining all the exercises for beginners like me and is very encouraging and enthusiastic.

Lark Pilates was a life saver for me over the last few months! The sessions were so easy to access a few times a week. Johanna is so skilled in providing enjoyable sessions that are also challenging. As a runner, these pilates sessions have been just what I needed to build core strength and I really noticed a difference in my endurance in running. Lark Pilates is great for your body and mind – all thanks to Johanna. I am much more aware of my posture and I feel that I’ve lost some old bad habits and gained many new good ones.
Johanna is an excellent teacher and she is always positive and upbeat. The classes are varied but not so much that you get lost or rushed trying to keep up. The atmosphere is relaxed and in a “real” class there’s the bonus of plenty of laughter!
If you are thinking about giving Pilates a try then look no further than Larks – you will be in safe hands.

I love Johanna's pilates classes - she's a wonderful teacher and her classes, whether in-person or online, have a warm, relaxed atmosphere while at the same time enouraging you to push yourself. I've noticed a marked improvement to my strength and flexibility since I began taking them. She caters both for beginners (I had no experience of pilates when I started a year and a half ago) and those with more experience, helping you to progress steadily. Highly recommended!
