A. G.Awesome soft play for kids of all ages. My daughter (and I) really enjoyed it. The junior section was amazing.
Good coffee from the cafe and also the brownie.
The slides are the fastest slides in town! We will be back
B. B.Whats not to love, especially when the slides have just been polished! Friendly staff, good clean facilities and always a great cuppa with a view of the sea. My grandson and I love it.
J.Lovely Beach to have a walk down, cafés and snack bars along the beach promenade and of course Ice-cream.
L. C. (.I usually go to the Edinburgh Leisure soft play at the commonwealth pool which is great. The facility and location of Tumbles is great but it was noticeably dirty/dusty in corners of the soft play area which is always really off-putting.
A. T.My wee one loves it, she don't get bored, each week a routine is bit different and challenging, i am really amazed hiw brave those kids are... In addition mega plus for location.. Right at the beach :))) we love Portobello

R. N.My wee boy loves this soft play over all the rest for some reason. All much of a muchness to me. Nice view from the cafe though, although didn't sample the goods.
R. S.Nice soft play but £6.95 for only 1 hour is a bit steep. We went on 20th April '22.
M. C.Impressive soft play with 3 different areas, depending on ages but if there's only adult with more than one children it's very hard to look after them all. Also the cafe is pretty terrible and you get strictly one hour of play (or you have to pay more). There's ample free parking though.

G. K.A regular favourite for the kids of all ages. Big slide for the 4/5+ and lovely ballpit for the little ones 2-4. Nice views. Can be abit busy... But always had a table and able to just enjoy playing with the kids and watching them play.
L. G.Excellent softplay area. Softplay is over three levels. Has a cafe beside softplay area and is quite reasonably priced.
A. M.Definitely not the the best soft play for toddlers. There're only 2 slides and a ball pit in the 1-4 years section which I believe is not enough for active toddlers and when you go to 5-10 section, kids would tell you to go on to the baby area which is quite understandable as it's their area which is pretty much great btw although I don't think I would like my son to speak this way to other adults. I wouldn't recommend it for toddlers at all but for bigger kids it's great. And staff is really friendly and helpful.
B. M.A great gymnasium with a huge soft play area for kids. Friendly staff all round but the soft play staff really are fantastic with the kids & also vigilant. Normally plenty of parking but can be busy during bad weather when soft play is in demand. But I've never had issues as a regular user.
K. K.Very nice place, everything is very secure, there is no way for kids to run out of the premises. Separate areas for small kids, lets the bigger one to have a run without worring someone will get squished :) there is a caffee for carers and a wee snacks for kids. You can see your kids on the telly in the caffee so you can monitor them all he time. Very close to the beach if you are fancy a wee walk after.
S. B.My son attends here beginners gymnastics classes. I wish there would be something for adults. Great facility but not allowed for everyone who wants. Shame 🙈
P. W.My son does gymnastics here once a week and enjoys it immensely. The monthly direct debit for soft play is great value and a great way for him to expend energy and make new friends. Highly recommended.
S. W.The set up is really good and kids have plenty to explore. The 1 to 4 year old section may be a bit on the tame side for some kids. However, I cant help but notice how many parents are glued to their phones while their little cherubs turn soft play into "The Lord of the Flies". My wife has had to intervene on a few occasions when kids have used threatening behavior towards other kids.
D. M.Cafe is noisy and cold. Softplay is split into three age groups, lots of birthday parties etc, very noisy (as you'd expect), kids love it, parents hate it.
Coffee is okay, hit and miss for GF options, expensive for kids cold meals.
Also offers classes for gymnatics and things.

D. M.We do autism friendly soft play for our kids here every Saturday, 5:30 til 6:30pm, very quiet at this time as the place is closed to public and would highly recommend anyone with autistic kids or any other disability 👌❤️
j. g.The kids have great fun here and it's a very safe place for the younger ones. Staff always watching out for accidents as all those kids together can be mayhem. Food is expensive though.

M. K.Great Soft play area and place to organise your child B-days. The also have gymnastic classes for children which are so far the best in the are and trust me this is the 5th place my daughter has been signed up. Recommended.

On arrival reception staff so helpful amd organised membership for me.
In softplay area the girl on reception supervised 3 year old for me when my 6 year old became very upset as she had been bumped by older boys and I had to go into softplay area to assist her.Georgia the other attendant was already with her and was so helpful and understanding and stayed with her until she calmed down which took some time.
All staff totally non judgemental and obviously well trained in dealing with autistic children.I am very grateful to all the staff
M. S.A large and well designed soft play centre, over multiple levels. Three different sections, for babies, toddlers, and older kids. Super views of the beach and Firth of Forth from the café area.
From our perspective as visitors from Lancashire back in Edinburgh to see family, the first reaction was that the entry fees are very high. It's probably not out of the ballpark in the Edinburgh market though, and there are a number of discount card and season ticket options for regulars. The only other gripe is that urinals and washbasins are all at adult height which seems like a silly oversight in a facility designed for little people.
J. G.I like this place and it is great for the kids. However, the cafe needs to work on its food options. I like to eat healthy and I would never eat there. When will the council start to understand healthy food?
