Dropped in a couple of times on my home visit from Sydney. Well organised classes with lots of focus on good technique and nice coaches. After telling my wee 61 year old mum about it now she's signed up for the Silvers class and has thoroughly enjoyed her first session! Awesome. I’m in Glasgow for a week long business trip. Normally train at Crossfit Coventry in England, but made to feel instantly welcome into the Glasgow box, and allowed to attend a free ‘drop in’ session. Having seen the accolades that the box had, I was hoping not to get thrown into an ultra competitive workout, but then found out that those lunatics/athletes have their own room next door. A great workout, friendly people and a great coach picking me up for things I should have corrected long ago. I’ll be back as a paying customer tomorrow!

Had to work in Glasgow at short notice so took the opportunity to email CFG to see if I could join a WOD. The people at the Box were really responsive and accommodating. Huge thanks to Iain for arranging my visit and to coach Ryan for really helping me with my overhead squat! Really welcoming and friendly bunch of athletes - a special thanks to Colin and Ross. Will definitely look to go again if ever in Glasgow.

DUDE! This is one of the best boxes I’ve ever been to and by far the best coaching. I spent 3 days in Glasgow and went everyday. In that short amount of time they helped with almost every aspect of my CrossFit game. Don’t mess around going anywhere else in Glasgow.

I visited Crossfit Glasgow this week for a trial session and loved it so much I went twice in one day! The gym is super impressive, boasting an entire section for the many competition athletes they have developed. Gavin is so knowledgable and welcoming, immediately replied to my messages and made me feel at home. The best crossfit place I have visited in Scotland and will definitely be coming back. Perfect if you’re a beginner/visitor like me, and by the looks of it, excellent if you’re considering taking it more seriously too. Honestly great.

Had an absolute blast at CrossFit Glasgow. Popped in towards the end of the open while on vacation. I wanted to drop in for some open gym and a regular class and then the open the next day. Not only were they very helpful in getting me comfortable with open gym, their coaches attention to detail and proper set up for the class water was top notch. Khi is hilarious, as quick as a whip, and isn’t afraid to teach you something new. Then, popped into Ryans AM class for 19.5. Let me tell you, coaching the first class after the open announcement the night prior is not an easy task, but Ryan did it smoothly and made sure everyone felt ready while also keeping the ball rolling on time. Very impressed with his ability to manage larger classes and longer WOD times. Being American, he also help me set up my barbell with kilos when I stood there looking dumbfounded. Here’s the thing; dropping into new gyms is fun and exciting when you’re surrounded by open and friendly people such as those that operate CrossFit Glasgow. I asked them for recommendations on food and Activities to do in the area, one coach had made and offered me homemade fudge, I was invited to their Friday night lights for the open, they were helpful and friendly and knowledgeable in their coaching, and they welcomed me back anytime. I don’t know if I’ll get another opportunity to come back, but if I do, I’m making a point to drop in here first. Pick yourself up a shirt on your way out to remember how awesome this place is.

It was a great experience exercising in Crossfit Glasgow! The coaches are very friendly and easy to approach. I have a shoulder injury and they adapted most of the WOD in order for me to participate while still making it challenging. I did a drop-in WOD here when visiting from Canada. What a cool place! It is a fairly large space, so there were quite a few folks in the WOD. I was impressed that two coaches were working - it helped to ensure that they could spend adequate time with each athlete. Very knowledgeable coaches - everything was explained very well, and scaling options were very clearly discussed. When I asked one of the members to take my photo in front of the logo afterwards, he went a step further and gathered everybody together to get in the photo with me! Super friendly! I would definitely recommend CF Glasgow to anybody!

World class CrossFit coaching. The facility is small but provides equipment and challenges to cater for any needs. Located only a stone throw over the river Clyde, under 10 minutes walk Glasgow Central Station. Homely, welcoming atmosphere whether you're local or visiting.

When visiting Glasgow for a day I took opportunity to drop into CFG box. The box has crammed in as much equipment as they can in the space available. As with most boxes I have visited, the WODs will be selected around available equipment so this is not a concern. Coach Viv was excellent, offering a warm welcome and introduction to the box. It's a great place to start your fitness journey. Mostly Niko or Andy trains us and both of them are very helpful and friendly. I can easily recommend this place to someone who is already a fitness freak or a complete beginner like me.

My wife and I recently finished up a "tour" of the UK. Our first stop was Glasgow and we made a point to stop by the gym before we left. Everything about this place is top-notch. I reached out to the gym the day before we intended to stop in, admittedly, a bit later than I should have. I received an e-mail reply from Mr. Heselton, one of the owners, within the hour inviting us to come by and providing some information about the space and best times. We arrived the next day and were warmly greeted, given a brief tour, and left to our own to train (we had purposely arrived during the "Open Gym" period). All of the equipment was top of the line, organized well, and incredibly well maintained. The multiple training spaces are more than sufficient and the sound of trains overhead makes for a unique experience. As we were finishing up, I spoke to a man who turned out to be the other gym owner, Iain Barbour. Over the next 30 minutes, Iain graciously shared a multitude of different perspectives that he has developed over more than a decade of working with/in Crossfit. His knowledge and attention to detail is apparent and it would not be surprising that the gym coaches share the same qualities and general care and appreciation for the gym's members. I highly recommend stopping by Crossfit Glasgow if you find yourself in the area; be sure to reach out to them before you stop in!

We visited Crossfit Glasgow twice on our trip to the city and we were met with unbelivable hospitality. We got to train both in a group session as well as in an open gym. The facilities are really well equipped with basically everything you need for crossfit and weight lifting. Best of all is though the people. Everyone is really friendly and the box has a great atmosphere. We highly recommend Crossfit Glasgow for everyone.

I had the pleasure of spending a day with Iain, one of the owners of CrossFit Glasgow in a business seminar setting. I was teaching the seminar but Iain taught me a thing or two! If I lived in Glasgow this is where I would be training, simply because the level of care and detail that these guys go into when it comes to delivering customer service. If you are lucky enough to get a membership at this gym then treasure it.

Great coaching with shared focus amongst all in attendance, with feedback amd pointers delivered in a constructive and individual basis. Even with covid lockdown in place I joined the family at CFG. We've only done zoom workouts (as prescribed by) however, Viv and team that I've spoken to are all fantastic. I think this will be my new home for fitness for the foreseeable future.

My partner and I dropped in while we were in Glasgow for a concert, this was an excellent box, we emailed prior and were able to book into a class, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The coached are extremely helpful and professional, we were definitely put through our paces in the morning WOD. Would recommend anyone who visits Glasgow to drop into this box.
