Was one the gym to be at during its launch and many years after that but too much competition now. The changing rooms and showers are the worst I have seen from any of the gyms. Each of the shower stall has broken fixtures half hanging out the wall.. Mould growing around walls and glass doors, dirty floors. You leave feeling dirtier than you walked in. Staff have a 'not my job' type of attitude when you raise it with them

Overall this is a pretty good gym but they need to do a better job maintaining their showers and Yanga water machine.

Good gym and has very foot equipment and is an enjoyable space. But this one worker most times at the gym always has to add the audacity to add a slick comment about me or my friends.

Good gym with almost all equipments. Though they must accomodate more equipments for weight lifting as they have a lot of place for that. On main street. Clean and neat with ample amount of weights and rods. Helpful trainers and they don't bug you like other gyms to get trainer or join this or that program. Peak hours generally are between 7to10 and evening 5 to 8. Membership is lilttle on costlier side. Bring own locks for locker.

Thos is the maximum experience, the place has everything you need to traine, big lockers, super nice showers, changing areas, music. I love it

Biggest PureGym in Scotland but a lot of the equipment is treadmills and incumbent bikes which aren't used as much as the weights. A lot of the strength kit has one or two machines. I think this gym could easily remove a third to half the treadmills, put in more strength kit and wouldn't lose anything. That's the one star loss taken care of. The gym is spacious, as are the changing rooms. For those that want classes, there's a dedicated class area separate from the rest of the gym so classes neither use up extra space or distract other users. Kit is well maintained and cleaned regularly, more so since COVID-19 as each floor has at least two cleaning stations and members, for the most part, do clean down after use. On the rare occasion I've had to speak to staff, they've been friendly and helpful. If you're in the city centre and want a good workout, Bath Street PureGym is a tough one to beat.

Quite a basic gym, good for the price and good for general fitness use but lack specificity and it only has 2 power racks which are usually taken. Staff trying their best but people ignoring social distancing and not wiping down equipment.

This is easily my favourite Pure Gym branch and one of the originals that opened in Glasgow. It's extremely spacious with 3 floors and in a good location. My favourite thing about the gym is that it's opened 24/7 as I find myself going all hours of the day. Very convenient.

One of the biggest Puregym in UK. PTs are very helpful and friendly. Great classes if you are looking for a quick cardio workout. Love the functional area as it's good for a workout as well as if you want to add some fun to your routine.

The gym has a friendly atmosphere, the trainers are so knowledgeable and the facilities are excellent. Even in these Covid times the level of hygiene is apparent as soon as you walk in the door. Well done PureGym Bath Street!

Large gym, loads of equipment, clean and well maintained. The odd ego lifter like you usually get in budget gyms but the staff do a pretty good job of keeping people in line. Not much in terms of "personality" as it's the usual clinical, copy and paste Pure Gym, but then there's loads of coffee shops nearby if you wanted a hang out. However be warned the showers in the mens changing rooms are horrible. Some are cold, the others have poor water pressure and there's been numerous promises that they'll be fixed but they never are. Not sure what the girls need to put up with. Hairdryers are a bit gutless (think small travel ones that overheat after 3 seconds) but are at least free to use. EDIT: since this review the showers have been fixed up and work a lot better.

Can't oversell this gym enough. I was there everyday from 17:30-18:30. Was never too busy and I could use whatever I wanted without queuing (except squat racks). Lots of equipment, lots of benches, free weights, classes. Friendly gym goers

It's excellent place to work out, but during peak hours it's too crowded. Lots of free weights and equipments to work with. Also good studio and floor for circuit training.

Most of the week day evenings, gym area will be blocked for regular users just to train few people. They train with a loud music (along with other low sound background music in gym running already) which is actually a frustrating thing when you go for gym in evenings. Apart of that, it is good when such training are not going in middle of gym.

This is the best Pure Gym I've ever used (I travel for work and use them all over the country.) It's perfect for bodybuilding. There are six squat racks and two Olympic deadlift platforms. They also have a hex bar and a safety squat bar (I have only ever seen a safety squat bar in independent bodybuilding gyms.) On another level are weight machines and another small free weights area, as well as a "functional" fitness area with a big cage/rack thing and lots of kettle bells and slam balls, etc. I'm sure it's very crowded after 5pm. Any city centre gym will be.
