Always have a great time at Glevum, the classes are engaging and the coaches are great at scaling the workouts to suit all abilities. Can always be a bit daunting going into new gyms/classes but felt very welcome and everyone is really friendly. Gave me a great base to work off and the 1 on 1’s at the start prepare you really well for the classes. Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic and friendly, Dan and the team are great at communicating and respond really quickly to questions and queries. There is a great range of people and abilities at Glevum, from just starting out / returning from an injury up to super fit and experienced but everyone I have met and spoken to has been friendly and encouraging, even though I've only been a member for a short time, it feels like years. The real theme of Glevum is inclusion adjusting classes or exercises to suit and them help to gently push and encourage to the next level.

I joined Glevum a few weeks ago.. it’s a really friendly place and the staff are lovely, welcoming and very encouraging. This is the first time I have stuck with a gym, joined others and lasted about 2 visits before giving up!! Yes it’s hard sometimes to get motivated to go but when I get there I really enjoy it. BTW, Walt’s the best, great sense of humor, great coach….

I was a completely new to CrossFit and after years of on-and-off memberships to ‘normal gyms’ I decided I wanted to commit to something different, that’s when I found Glevum. I have been so so happy ever since I’ve joined! I was very intimidated by weights and big barbells at other gyms so would keep to trusty cardio based workouts (that I never actually enjoyed). Glevum is a class-based gym which provides me with exactly what I need; accountability and encouragement. I cannot speak highly enough about the team, they are there to tell me when I’m doing a great job, when I need to push myself harder and to help me when I’m doing a movement wrong. Thank you guys so much!!

It’s going to be very hard to put into words exactly what Glevum Fitness has done for me. I joined last year, unfit and overweight, having not done any exercise for as long as I can remember and desperately looking for a gym where I wouldn’t feel “I don’t fit in here…” From the very first PT sessions with Liam and Walt I was coaxed out of my “I can’t do that” mindset and a whole new world of exercise opened up for me that genuinely gives me so much joy! I have more energy than ever before; I don’t get out of breath for no reason; I enjoy more activities with my family as a result of the improvements to my health and fitness and the changes to my shape and muscle tone is an unexpected bonus. I attend 3-4 classes a week as well as 2 one-2-one sessions each month and would attend more if it wasn’t for work getting in the way! As Glevum is so brilliant at adapting the set workout for the individual’s ability and fitness level, you always feel that you have fully taken part with everyone else in the class and finish the workout so thrilled at what you have achieved. I know I would not have embraced exercise if I had joined a traditional gym and not had the support and encouragement that you get from everyone at Glevum (coaches and members). Dan and Rosie have created an amazing “community” feeling at Glevum, it really is a home from home for me now and I couldn’t imagine it not being a part of my life.

To put it simply - I love this gym! Having recently moved to this side of Gloucester, Glevum Fitness was the perfect location for me. I’ve only been a member for about 2 months now but I feel like I’ve been welcomed straight in! The coaches are passionate and great at what they do; and they also care about you as an individual too. All of the other members are so friendly, all of the kit is really high quality - I don’t think you could ask for more. It’s one of my favourite hours of the day and I always look forward to attending my next class. Thank you guys!

I saw Rosie's post on Facebook about helping people get fit & healthy and had been wanting to do something for quite a while. I spoke with Rosie on the phone and she was really warm, welcoming and understanding. I hadn't done any fitness for 13 years apart from a few Zumba classes here and there and was sooo nervous about embarassing myself with how unfit and over weight i was. The first time i arrived at the gym i didnt know what to expect and was a bit overwhelmed but the minute i opened the door i was greeted by Dan with a huge smile and he used my name without an introduction which made me feel at ease straight away. My first session was all about getting to know each other and finding out what i was capable of (which was more than i thought) and i'm not gonna lie it was tough but i felt really great after, like i had achieved something. I was still a bit nervous and unsure but the people there are so supportive and encouraging with no judgement and by my 4th session i am starting to really enjoy it and feel so good that i made the call. If you feel like me my advice, be brave and take that first step by calling Glevum Fitness, i promise you wont regret it.

I've never much enjoyed working out but was recommended Glevum. I've only been coming a few weeks and it is changing my life. Every class is small and the instructor enables each person to work to their capabilities whilst still encouraging new goals. For the first time, I actually look forward to gym sessions and I can feel my fitness improving. A great team of people too and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I joined Glevum in 2013 and have been a continuous member up to the present day. From a young age I have played lots of different sports but mainly rugby. At the age of 34 I retired from rugby due to injury. It was at this time that I was introduced to Glevum by a friend. As soon as I started to train at Glevum, I completely fell in love with the gym. The whole structure appealed to me and all the different techniques and movements. With a combination of running, cycling and rowing put together with weights and workouts . It has made me feel so much better about myself over the years and I enjoy every single moment I am able to attend the gym. The owners at Glevum are Dan and Rosie, and they are the most amazing gym instructors. They are extremely supportive and are willing to help you every second of the way. Rosie is also a fantastic nutrition coach and which I am currently signed up to. I cannot thank Dan and Rosie enough for what they have done for me over the years and I will continue to be a member at Glevum for many more years to come. James Cooke
