Started going to this gym around 25 years ago. Lots of space we'll laid out. But think it's time for a refurbishment Staff turnover seems high but always friendly enough

Great gym, and the trainers seem knowledgable and friendly etc The only thing they could improve on is the food. It would also be great to see some martial art classes offered here too!

The gym is pretty good for equipment although it could definitely do with some extra kettlebells, softer slam balls etc. I don't know why however, I pay an extra £30 per month (per person) to your standard clients for premium, when every other time I come in the gates to the spa are stuck open so anyone can enter, when they're not stuck open there's no decent surveillance so you've got groups of people following in on one mates card, and when this isn't the situation there's constantly something broken. Additionally, I understand the summer kids club, but again when spending as much as all of your members do it doesn't seem fair that like today, we get to the pool to turn around as realistically there is not chance of getting in either the indoor or outdoor pools. I do however frequent the bar restaurant relatively often which is always nice, although some of the staff could be taught how to provide service with a smile.

This is the best gym I've been to by some way. The facilities are excellent and the outdoor pool feels like being on holiday when it's warm and sunny. The cafe does great food and there's a good soft play area with another cafe that's great if you have kids. Definitely possible to spend hours here! It is very pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

Hydrotherapy pool constantly broken. If its not the pool its the shower, if its not the shower its the sauna. Desperately in need of an upgrade. Classes are exceptional, staff really helpful.

Ish and Jamai are amazing!!! Food ok, drinks good, gym is brilliant!!! spa needs work. One receptionist that can make life hard but you always get one don't you.

20th July 2021.READ THE EMAIL SENT Hi Jennifer Colley This is the amount I have paid David Lloyd in membership charges by direct debit for one account, off peak for three months for myself: £157.50 April (2021) £ 31.36 April 19th £ 31.36 April 27th £142.47 May 4th £121.00 June 1st £121.00 July 1st £604.69 Total! The agreement I made was maximum £70 per month for three months. This amounts to £210.00 only and plus the joining fee - what is that amount to join as a member, £110? That would total £320.00. This is extortionate itself considering the facilities but that's what I agreed to and sent written notice of cancellation in plenty of time and recieved a reciept of this notice. D LLOYD LEEDS has done the same to me they have done to others- CHARGED ME FOR MEMBERSHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. I recieved confirmation in writing that the memberships were cancelled but the direct debits continued. The cleaners are struggling. There was shards of glass all over the changing room floor one day. I took them to reception ( nine peices) and they just said thanks and theyd send a cleaner. I could have cut my feet open. Also WHY ON EARTH DONT THEY EMPLOY LIFEGUARDS FULL TIME? A little boy drowned at this club- is that not enough to fix this mismanagement? Needs a lot of work to justify charging so much- needs to be free with those standards. Eventually recieved refund and apology for extra charges after insisting they remedy their series of errors. Dodn to very neglectful mismanagement.

Everything under one roof but not very organized as had lot of issues In the past which needed multiple reminders for rectification. Last thing, very expensive and no option to create a membership for kids only unless you have your own .

Absolutely love it. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's very family orientated which is great for us. You can leave your children in a class whilst you visit the gym or do a class yourself. Tennis is fantastic, we've never had a problem booking a court which is great. We'll go have a family day out there, it's like being on holiday, on average when we all go we spend around 6 hours here playing tennis and swimming, better than playing on the iPad. It's not a chore like a "normal" gym, it's more of an experience. We love it, can't recommend it highly enough 😊

Have visited as a guest many times (wife & daughter are members) but refuse to join as it's eye-wateringly expensive!! Facilities, cafe, holiday camps, kids tennis & swimming etc. are all good but at a monthly fee around 4 times that of other gyms it just doesn't add up...

Fantastic facilities in wooded surroundings;helpful staff; Jayesh's yoga sessions the best I've ever attended;Tony's pilates v good & Annie's zumba terrific..among other good sessions I've attended over the years..The gym has a wide range of equipment..The cafe is a good place to meet friends for a coffee or a meal,with an outside terrace when weather permits...& lovely friendly staff... The facilities include a lovely outdoor pool,as well as an indoor pool & jacuzzi...With a bit of imagination,on a fine day you could be in Italy! It is expensive..but it is also very good!

A great fitness club with a few tennis courts, a good sized indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a new designed spa area, a good sized fitness area and an spacious restaurant area, well designed with an outdoor area, a computer area and a kids room. Beside of this yes they offer a good choice of fitness classes too. What more could I ask for. Yes it is a bit more pricey. But they offer therefore in my opinion a lot... And even more important: The atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable.

Its undoubtedly a good facility, but you do pay for it! Can't believe that for the price you pay to be a member, the sauna, steam and spa don't come as standard and you have to pay quite alot more to access those. This is not the case at all David Lloyd gyms. David Lloyd Cheadle has a nicer spa (in my opinion), and all members can go in. No good if you live in Leeds though.

The David Lloyd club Leeds is outstanding and is a pleasure to go to most days of the week! Everything from the staff who work there and the facilities from the gym to the pools is just amazing! There is something there for all the family from toddlers to the elderly!

The swimming pools are good and the gym is big and well stocked. The only real downside is the price and the car park (spaces are narrow and I've had my car scraped a few times).

I've been a member at a number of different gyms over the years and keep coming back to DL. Very expensive (around £100 PM for mid tier membership) but nice and clean.

It is a shame that the Club won't employ a professional painter to renew the yellow paint on steps and on the drive up to the club. It is a matter of safety. More expensive but also important would be to provide more adequate lighting in the car park. Many promises have been made to widen the drive. When will one of these be kept? This is also a matter of safety. Because of the lack of width the fence to the side is having to be frequently repairedt

I am annoyed about changes made for Sunday opening time to 7am from 6am.i was told that not enough members attend at 6am but to my experience there are very large number of members do come at 6am .And I was told that they are saving money by Opening at 7 am. I am disappointed to they ignored members interest first.

Weights area is full of meatheads who hog the weights and leave them littered all over the place so it's impossible to find a pair of dumbells. Lots of dudes slapping each other on the back and squatting with terrible form. Avoid peak times as its a shitshow. Facilities are good apart from this.
