Had a great time with my kids and niece today I wanted to write a review to complement the cleanliness of the baths and changing rooms the lady there I have seen nearly every Saturday is always busy and very helpful I didn't catch her name she's short with brown hair she's makes it very clean and after visiting other local baths this year I'm happy to get changed here the other places aren't as clean. It's much appreciated to know that people actually clean after others have used showering areas I hope she's appreciated

Went to a kids bouncy castle party! The kids had a wonderful time on the massive bouncy castle! Water was provided. And then the kids went upstairs for a lovely birthday party meal chicken nuggets or pizza or hot dog all with chips. It might be nice to have some music on as when the kids had finished they just ran about with balloons and it would be nice to maybe have a dance, but apart from that it all was lovely. Xx

The place is clean and modern. Great pools, good gym, for courts go to kirkstall but otherwise this place is newer and nicer. Reception staff are polite once you get to know them, I've read other reviews saying they are rude...i think they are just not majorly chatty that's all..maybe could smile a little to make customers feel more comfortable but on the whole they do a good job. I've had an issue in the past with my son and gymnastics and it was dealt with very well by the manager I'm happy with the outcome and felt my child's interests were prioritised by him. In my opinion the swim staff work very hard and are the friendliest of all staff. Cleaning, customer relations and they bring the positive energy to the place. Lifeguards and teachers are amazing.. even the ones that aren't as chatty and a bit older are amazing at their jobs and extremely knowledgeable. I've used: gym, pool, table tennis and classes and happy with all. I've worked in the fitness industry for many years and feel if the rest of the staff were as vibrant as the swim staff this place would be amazing however it's good enough for me and it's a low cost local health hub that is accessible to all with amazing facilities for disabled people (from what I've seen) and everyone else so not sure why so many negative reviews. As for the lady who wanted to go swimming and was told no baggy clothing I know this lady to be a neighbor of mine and felt extremely disappointed that that was her experience. She's a lovely woman and a mum who happens to be Muslim and wanted to wear a t shirt and shorts over her costume...I see no way this should be an issue... hopefully the reception staff will learn from this and be more understanding in future.

The lady behind the desk was very rude my gf and I arrived about 15 minutes early and said "you can't check in. Wait till 2:05" in a very rude and blunt way. When we did start to cue up to check in we didn't get to the changing rooms until 2:15 because she was being really slow. When we did finally get checked in by a man called Andy who was very polite and nice. We asked her to get the gates open and my girlfriend had to ask about 3 to 4 times (politely) to open it and she said "can you just wait a second I'll open it. So whoever is thst Lady you tooo so slow there was a cue from reception up to the carpark. The pools however where clean so that helps a lot. I will unfortunately not be coming to this leisure centre again because of how rude and disrespectful that lady on reception is.

Clean, nice atmosphere, helpful staff. Small pool is brilliant haven't used main pool but it's all clean and well looked after. I would recommend getting there quite early as it gets very busy with people wanting to swim.

Holt Park Active is a very user friendly centre for wheelchair customers. I find the staff are ever so friendly and helpful. I look forward to going there for 'Keep Moving' Class & my hydro sessions which is inclusive and supportive.

First visit yesterday and I have to say I'm impressed. I was greeted st reception by a lovely young girl who assisted with my Leeds afrove card and got it all sorted for me and told me about the additional discounts I'd get with it. Also gave me clear directions to the pool and explained if I needed change for the lockers to just ask. The place is clean, the large pool I felt was just right and I also like the fact that there are a lot of different sessions. Being very self conscious can make it difficult to take up swimming but having different sessions give you the freedom to tailor to your needs. I will be going regularly to take full use of living so close!

Best council gym ive been to. Been a member of a few private gyms in the past but this place tops them for friendless. I love that i can go into the gym or do a class and people actually talk to you, so i feel comfortable going on my own. Facilities are very good and its clean. Staff dont always get to phone but i use the app so no need to call them really. Good value for money compared to many. Car park can get busy but try and use gym in the mornings

I love the fact that you can pay as you go for gym membership. Also if you gym and swim its significantly cheaper than doing both separately. Gym is well set up and has classes also. There is a running club which meets on Tuesday night's also for a bit of social variety. There are rooms for hire if you need a venue for a low-key sports related (or not) function. The parking is free but limited. Free lockable bike boxes available on-site. £1lockers available also.

Nice layout inside with an outdoor feel, the gym equipment is outdated compared with the other leisure centres around leeds, a large number of the lockers don't work so the best advice is to test it locks before putting all your items in, changing rooms are decent.

HI Don't know who came up with the ridiculous opening times for Good Friday - first time in my adult life been unable to get a swim on a Good Friday afternoon. Disappointing, as have been very happy with this pool. Staff not particularly helpful - would have helped if they'd bothered to answer the phone on the three occasions that I called Friday morning. Still just par for the course with things run by Leeds City Council. JDB

I went swimming but I noticed there are plenty of other activities going on here including a massive gym packed with all sorts of exercise equipment. Lovely clean changing rooms and shower area. Friendly helpful staff throughout. Nice cafe, tasty food, variety of coffees etc. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Well worth a visit. A credit to Leeds City Council and Leeds Active.
