M. R.Nice playground in good condition. Lots for kids to do with climbing frames for both younger and older children along with swings for both too. Loads of grass around the playground to have a run around or play and of course the Abbey across the road if the kids want something different
J. H.Kids loved it. Great green space in a built up area. Really clean. Lovely for a picnic. Right next door to abbey house museum and over the road from from the abbey. Car park had reasonably sized spaces too. Parking for coaches and mini buses. Could do with public toilets as nearest are abbey house museum or the abbey. But other than the lack.of public convenience it's a great space to take the kids.
D. M.Nice big park for small children, big fields next to it. Picnic benches and a big car park. The ice cream man is very expensive though. Total rip off! Toilets over the road in the Abbey museum shop. Nice way to entertain the kids.
J. R.It's a small playground. You can see most of it from anywhere in the fenced area, which is useful if you're trying to watch more than one child. It has enough equipment to suit a range of ages. As a group the ages ranged from 3 - 7 and it entertained all of them.
M. D.The facilities in the playground are very limited and the playground itself is way too small! The kirkstall park is massive but it's left without any use except dogs pooing everywhere and their owners don't bother to pick them up.
r. m.Nice playground for smaller children, picnic benches and the Abbey over the road. Beware of the scandalous ice cream man. £4.00 for an ice cream! Rip off!
