This is a very high quality Health Club. The facilities are high quality and extensive. Personally I think it is a more family orientated club and not ideal for single / or couple members. (Often busy). Membership fees are a bit on the high side too.

I think his Name is Mark duty Manager? He was great, big help on my visit. Could see he was doing everything from greeting us at reception then next down by poolside and all this on the hottest day of the year Friday just gone, keep hold of the guy DL, simply great guy 👍 also Liam the new guy at the bar, Lydia the lifeguard and lynny made us feel welcomed

It is OK. Has very busy periods, best to avoid if you are 50+. Children are allowed to run around and tennis courts are hard to book. Coaches seem to book out courts and not use them. It is more of a leisure centre rather than a tennis club.

Amazing facilities and the staff are polite from top to bottom. We're a family of 4 and after 2 weeks I can say we're happy with it all. After 4 months and it's now like the best thing for us all, I mean that.

Although not my home club, so far this is my favourite. Visiting when 200 miles from home, and after a particularly stressful day, Manager Wesley and receptionist Clare made me more than welcome and went above and beyond to help me de-stress. Facilities used: Outdoor and indoor pools, hot tub/jacuzzi indoor and out, sauna, steam room. The outdoor pool is nicely tiled, a bit deeper and wider than many DL pools, and the warmest outdoor pool I have ever swum in. The indoor pool is huge, the sauna and steam room are perfect temperatures and absolutely spotless. The outdoor jacuzzi is slightly warmer then the pool, and the indoor jacuzzi is deep, comfortable, and very warm. Perfect! Even though busy when I visited, there was plenty of room for everybody, and the whole club was spotless and well maintained. If you live within half an hour of this club and enjoy swimming, it's a no brainer to make this your home club. I did not use the gym, but it looked large and very well equipped, and the tennis courts were brightly lit and like the rest of the club, in pristine condition. I will return for sure, whenever I am within 'striking distance', and once again, Huge thanks to Wesley, Clare,( or Claire! ) for your warm hospitality- indeed all of the staff were smiling and welcoming. Very friendly staff and clients. Clean and tidy - welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor pool for use at this time of year. Always plenty of parking when I go. Made some new friends here and we enjoy the cafe area.

The club has improved it's family friendliness over the last few years, before there were more restrictions and quite unhelpful staff (once we forgot towels, dripping wet we had to march upstairs to get towels at a cost of a pound each and a completely rude woman, right after this she then went on speaker to ask families to leave the lounge area..). The menu was also disappointing before and although it has improved recently I do question the quality... Apparently the club is getting a cash injection to improve the kids play area, creche (lets hope they open this in the evening too so parents really can do more than swim!) and some equipment improvements to entertain. As a customer and a user I have fed back many times over the past five years to no avail but would like to state what I would like to see improved: The flooring in the family change area is so slippy that kids are flying everywhere - please improve. The kids play area could be better designed with more safety features so little ones cant run off and the soft play could have more variety - hopefully this is in the plans. Creche - please make available in evenings for parents to enjoy facilities without children. It is so difficult to find babysitters in evenings and so difficult to go through the ordeal of just pattering about in the baby pool. Please help the single working parents who need to work out! Yes the creche is currently available for 2hrs a day in work hours!!! Not helpful! Food quality improved to organic and free range wherever possible! Local farm produce would be a big hit for locals too. Customer service could be better and more considerate to families. The floor in the club area is dirty and needs to be cleaned more, kids make mess but another family will take that spot quite quickly and when their toddler is on the floor he/she will eat what is around it! Please clean more! This includes showers and family areas! Some things the club is doing right on is the planned activities for families around term times and for special events such as easter and xmas... The customer service has improved and other things such as menu etc but at this rate of improvement it will take 20 years for the things i wish for to come true! Step on it and improve and please hear my words. This can be done with the next upgrade which is due shortly!!! And I will await with anticipation! Watch this space!

I've been to 7-8 different David Lloyds now (I' a Vantage member) and I like this the best! Really friendly staff and members. The coaches are great and really nice (Sam, Tom, the Italian girl etc). Lovely atmosphere, great facilities. The best David Lloyd I have ever been to!

Over crowded, hot stuffy seems to have too many members to staff ratio, difficult to park, if you can at all, takes ages to be looked after and I just feel very sad for the staff working here. I feel sad for me too after paying full membership for several years including 1 or 2 pt’s every week. Appreciate it’s not 24/7 busy but there is little point for me to carry it on. There are many cheap substitutes in the market now, ok they may not be as smart but the way this is run easily competes with one I go to in the middle of Leicester City Centre for a fraction of the price. DL Leicester you are losing your USP by cramming too many of us punters in, abit short sighted? Your choice of course and mine too.
