David Lloyd in Lincoln offers a great deal, 6 indoor tennis courts and two external, the facilities are very good, the indoor courts benefiting from LED lighting making for great game play throughout the day. The social / dining area offers a relaxed place to wind down after tennis, the gym or a swim. The quality of the facilities is in general very good, just lacking slightly on the exterior maintenance of some of the woodwork, which is a shame, although this doesn’t affect the actual facilities. Well managed and has done well to come out of the pandemic and bounce back. Would recommend if you like tennis and a enjoy a relaxed, less busy gym, swim and Class facilities compared to other leisure facilities.

Good club, only thing that lets it down is maintenance - there always seems to be something not working - pool, jacuzzi, cold C showers, heating, sinks blocked.. Since Covid, they haven’t the sand resources to make sure everything is maintained.

Fantastic array of facilities. Love the opening hours of the pool meaning it's not over crowded. Great food area and children's play area. Whilst the membership is hogher than most, this isn't just a gym it's a family health, Fitness and social area. All staff bend over backwards to help. Love it.

I have to give the service here a mixed review, there are some staff that are great but not all and not consistently. The kids club staff are generally great and swim lessons for kids are outstanding. It's expensive though and the value for money not really there. It's the only place like it in the area though.

I have been a member of David Lloyd for many years and have recently moved from Derby to Burton Waters on the out skirts of Lincoln. I was delighted to have such an outstanding gym only a stone’s throw away from my house. Unfortunately I have recently discovered that one of the personal trainers has been importing and using steroids. I find this very unsettling. I will be changing gyms in the very near future.

Having moved recently to almost next door to this gym, despite having a serious medical condition - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - which, upon exertion, makes breathing difficult, I thought perhaps swimming, Pilates might improve my lung function. With my problems, in mind, I joined, on the 1st November for 3 months on the understanding, I would be able to terminate my membership on medical grounds. Unfortunately, with a combination of my COPD, plus hurting my hips and back in a Pilates Class, I realised I was doing myself, at 72 years if she age, more harm than good. I wrote a letter, on 22nd November, explaining about my COPD, enclosing a letter from a Consultant dated 2015 in which it confirmed that I had had my COPD for over ten years and that he also discovered I had Alpha 1 Antitryptin disease. Someone, from David Lloyds then rang me asking for more recent proof, having no idea that COPD is a progressive, serious disease which can prove fatal. It never improves only deteriorates!! They are now chasing me for more money. UPDATE: had a phone call from gym apologising and saying they have cancelled my membership. Was it the "power of internet?" Whatever, it is a fantastic gym/ swimming pool etc and, if I had not had my problems, I would have enjoyed it so now gone from 1 ⭐️ to 3⭐️s 😁.

Ideal location for a visit from where I live and there is ideal things to do, gym and swim followed by a nice café/bar for food and drinks

Good range of facilities including 25m pool, several indoor and outdoor tennis courts, 2 badminton courts, 2 squash courts, very well equipped gym, restaurant/cafe, equipment hire and classes in all sports along with a well equipped cycle studio.

Had a few birthday parties here and it's great for the kids. They are looked after by staff and have great facilities and usual meals. As parents you can staff in bar/cafe too.

Love the Les Mills Sufferfest classes.. The spinning room is fab! Be great if the virtual classes could move around different times so those that can only get at certain times get some variation though?
