By far the best gym I’ve trained at! Always tidy, hygienic, good friendly atmosphere and I genuinely look forward to going in every session. Staff are quality, very helpful and just approachable for a chat. The manager Danny is quality gives everyone his time an talks to everyone in there makes newcomers feel welcome. Honestly wouldn’t train anywhere else, if you’re looking for a gym in the south Liverpool area get yourself down to this one honestly the best gym around.

Best Gym about. Honestly look forward to going in to train here. Such a tidy and hygienic gym. Special mention to Danny the manager the nicest fella boosts people self esteem. Is so approachable and is always happy to help with anything around the gym. Anyone looking for a gym definitely recommend this highly. My mum is new into the gym and everyone ,especially Danny, has encouraged her so much and made her enjoy coming into train and gave her confidence. Fantastic gym!

Used this gym for a while when it was a previous chain and as JD, have to say there's been a massive improvement since JD have taken over. I'm quite stop start with the gym and have found it intimidating in the past - I love coming to Belle Vale as I find it's a really inclusive environment full of friendly faces staff and members included. I never struggle to get on machines and there's always staff about if I need any advice or tips.

Good amenities especially with the size of the gym. I know there is nothing they can do but maybe studio size needing to be bigger due planning studio work around classes. But very good gym no complaints.

I joined Belle Vale jd whilst getting fit after a football injury. Never really trained in a gym before and was shown round by Dan. He explained the different pieces of equipment and even demonstrated them for me. I thought he was a pt after work but he explained he was part of the management team. Top customer service and a clean and friendly gym with lots of equipment for all kinds of fitness needs.

Music absolutely gash and super loud too so you have to have your own to the point of making ears bleed to not hear it otherwise pretty good for the price can get crowded after 4pm tho and hard to get on equipment

I'm a woman who's closer to 60 than 50, have COPD and riddled with arthritis. I joined up to basically strengthen the muscles to support my joints, I've just started my 5th week with a PT named Luke, he has built up my self confidence and has me on quite a vigorous schedule, I must admit, I'm loving it!! I rate JD Gym Belle Vale 100%

Gym space 10. Equipment 10. Staff 10. But. And it’s a big one. There is no heating in the winter so it can get quite cold- you get warm working out. There is no AC so it gets TERRIBLY hot in the summer. Even impossible to workout since it can feel hotter than it is outside. I hope JD will sort something out soon cuz the summer has just begun and it already feels like a sauna in here.

Get the AC ASAP. Can’t breathe inside on a hot day. Other than that the gym is amazing. Love the space that you get. Decent amount of squat racks. Barely have to wait for one. Friendly staff as well.

Much better now compared to when it was Xercise4less - a lot more equipment and better maintained. However, as others have mentioned the air conditioning is more or less non-existent despite being promised it was being upgraded when the gym changed over from Xercise4less to JD Gyms. Can get far too hot in there on warm days/nights.

Paying twice the price I was when it was Xercise4less for half of the equipment, plus there seems to be twice the people. So, difficult to get on any equipment. They sold it as a "brand new gym" , but the epuipment is clearly second hand. Cable machines aren't fully functional. They work but not maintained too well, so are stiff and frustrating to use. I'll be looking to go elsewhwre in the coming weeks.
