v. s.The pool is a good one for parents to take babies and young children as the water is usually warmer than other centres There's a separate section of the pool with gently sloping area into the water and a little slide for toddlers.The main 25m part of the pool isnt really suitable for a long training swim as it's quite a narrow width with some people swimming widths,others lengths,and always groups of people chatting at the edges.

N.We booked a pool party for my daughter here which was yesterday, it was fantastic and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself as did all of her friends, the inflatable was amazing and the kids loved the yellow slide. The staff/lifeguards were great and very helpful. Thank you for making my daughters birthday one to remember!!
D. B.This is a good and popular local centre. Although it is quite old the facilities and equipments provide plenty of activities. The big issue though is that it is dirty and unhygienic. There are plenty of staff but it seem that none of them think that cleaning the place is part of the job. The person in charge is no manager. The easiest , cheapest and basic way to create a good environment is to keep it tidy and clean. Please get a grip , your local community deserves better!
N. F.Small and big slides make this a fun pool for children but it is freezing! The small toddler pool connects with the large adult pool so it isn't very warm at all and I find my kids can't last very long without getting too cold. Changing rooms are communal with no individual cubicles and often not very clean.
O. G.I like classes here, but unfortunately I have to admit that place is dirty. I have seen that many people said it is dated and to be honest I don't mind it as long as it is clean. Obviously I am happy to have this place rather than nothing, but I hope so much that some cleaning could be done. I wish to show some pictures, but these are not allowed to be taken. Also please always remember to have the card with you, otherwise they will bill your account £3.00. I cannot tell anything about swimming pool as I left right after I have seen changing rooms. With all my respect to the people who works there as they are really nice, I am scared to take my shoes off in these rooms. Please make sure you are on time as if you late you would not be allowed to enter the class. But as I said earlier trainers are really good and worth a visit.
E. S.Came here for years, kind of sentimental but it is old and needs loads of work. 3 different rooms with gym equipment and a big hall.
Swimming pool consists of a big adult Pool and a small kids pool.
There is slide but it has restricted opening times.
Staff are all helpful and pleasant.
G. R.I take my 2 year old little girl every weekend she loves swimming. Only down fall with this place is the changing facilities. They aren't very child friendly. The floor is constantly wet so it is a battle to get dry. A simple change of the flooring so water runs away would solve this problem. Apart from that great price. The actual pool is and other facilities are superb
g. o.Only giving it 3 stars because it needs an overhaul, but I've found that the staff are worked very hard and this is down to council cuts I think. Everytime Ive visited I've been greeted by very friendly staff. Only downfall is certain members of the public who can't do something simple like leave the family room clean and not expect the staff to act like personnel cleaners for them. The gym is fairly equipped and at times can be very busy. The classes are always full so book or you'll miss out. I think the centre needs some much needed updating.

H.I'm giving 3, because although the majority of time we go its pleasant, the cleanliness is hit and miss, but the staff are nice and helpful, and lovely to talk too, however the pool must have had 20 + children in and the staff swapped over, and 2 members of staff came in with a maccies breakfast and proceeded to stand and talk to each other while one of them ate their breakfast? I was baffled that they thought this was acceptable behaviour?
Z. L.I am shaky between 2 and 3. The water feels dirty. There needs more frequent cleaning in changing hall and toilets. The facilities are dated but functioning. Lockers, steam and sauna are back to good condition. Consumers also can contribute by behaving good.
S. F.Good gym facilities. Best thing though is that the center has a steam room and sauna. Can be busy when the children are off school but that's the same as everywhere. Been going here for years.
A. C.No private changing in the swimming pool area and VERY slippery tiles around the pool itself - a real hazard! The centre itself is quite dated. The swimming pool itself is ok and not too crowded though. Can't say anything about the rest of the facilities as I didn't visit them.

M. C.Changing rooms need updating and the floor is always soaking wet. The toilets need sorting out too as they never seem to work and are untidy. The staff are lovely though.
A. M.Done a pool party today and the family had a brilliant time. The staff were brilliant, and made sure we had a great time. The new inflatable was brilliant and the pool was warm for this time of year. Would defo reccomend a pool party here.

The appliances could do with updating as they are offen out of order! Which is frustrating at times. Especial if you plan to go on from the gym back to work! X

I love it. I know the flood in the sports hall (around 5 months ago). It's been 5 months so I really don't care.
G. D.Really great place. Staff are amazing, they are all very friendly and caring especially when it comes to newcomers. Would and have recommended to my friends. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

P. D.Pretty standard lifestyles leasure center. Would avoid going around 14:55 on a school day as West Derby school shares the car park and they let out at that time.

H. F.Fun pool with slide for little kids and flume. Changing rooms are basic and communal with no cubicles.
D. F.Staff are friendly but the centre, especially the baths, is a little run down. The steam and sauna is frequently out of use for long periods as at the moment.
m. 8.classes are great fun, most staff are lovely here and its very reasonably priced too. Its a great way to socialise,keep fit and have fun 😁
