Reviews of Barry's SOHO

The instructor at Barry’s Soho was excellent and the venue was much nicer than some of the other Barry’s we went to in London and also New York.
Loved it - shredded fat too!

This is my favourite Barry's studio in London because it is the only Barry's London studio that offers LIFT classes in addition to Barry's traditional Red Room workouts. LIFT is an upgrade to Barry's double-floor workout. LIFT has a dedicated room at Barry's Soho studio so there are no treadmills in there (hurrah!); just a room full of weights and benches. LIFT classes are based on the same Barry's format e.g. Mondays, arms and abs; Tuesdays, leg day, etc, but the difference is that the classes are run on a programme over a set number of weeks. The aim is to see progression in your lifts. Barry's LIFT would be ideal for those who want to lift heavy, those who love weights, those up for a challenge, and those who are results-driven. I'd recommend a LIFT class with the instructor Naomi; she'll push you to lift heavy with care to avoid injury. She's an amazing trainer who lifts heavy herself so a class with her is a must! Those who do want to do Barry's traditional tread-and-floor workout can still do so at Barry's Soho in the room next door to the LIFT workout room. Barry's Soho studio is a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube station, and it is located in the pedestrianised road parallel to Carnaby Street. This Barry's studio opened in the last quarter of 2020 so the decor is new and modern. You can also order a freshly-made protein shake after your workout and they're really good; I've tried almost all of them but the Matcha Made in Heaven and CBPB are my absolute faves. I joined Barry's three years ago in Dubai and recently moved back to London to pick-up Barry's here. I'm over the moon that LIFT is on offer here in the UK. Whilst I've always enjoyed Barry's double-floor workouts, LIFT is perfect for me as is Barry's Soho studio.

Probably the best workout in London, and this is the best Barry’s studio by far - spacious and lovely facilities

Always a fantastic workout, and the front-of-house staff are super friendly. 10/10.

Why there are female staff members for moping inside male shower and changing room!! This is so surprising and uncomfortable at the same time.
Better than the Central Barry's branch. It has modern and spacious changing rooms but with less privacy I would say.
It has lift classes which I like to go to.
Santander bike station is a little far.

Best workout ever! It is a test of endurance and strength. And if you can get into Jake’s class, you are in for a treat with his awesome vibes and the best tunes!

Intense fitness class, free protein shake in first visit. Really good
