Darren is an excellent trainer and really makes you feel welcome at this gym. I look forward to going for a session daily because of just how much you gain from each session and 12 rounds of intensity.

I am generally not a fan of exercise and gyms, however, Box36 somehow makes it enjoyable. It's a fun and tough workout every time! Darren and Jovan are excellent and welcoming! The classes are intense and they push you, but that's a good thing! I think this is the first time I have felt like I have had a "proper" workout.

These guys are fantastic. I have attended every type of class with every possible trainer and enjoyed them all. I like to be pushed to my limits while learning the basics of boxing and that is exactly what they do. They are also accommodating on any current restrictions (injuries etc), should I need a slight adjustment in the class, the advice is there. The class sizes are big enough to create a good workout atmosphere but deliberately small enough that it stays personable and you benefit from direct help on any fitness and technique.

I have been going for 4 months now and am thoroughly impressed with the trainers and the gym. Darren, Calum and Jovan are all enthusiastic, motivating and friendly.
Every class is intimate so you feel as though you're receiving an individual PT session/work out, teaches you technique and guarantees you break a sweat. I'm a huge fan of The Greatest classes as it's boxing layered with 3/4 rounds of circuits.
I'd recommend this gym to people of all fitness levels as each of the instructors will take a work out to your fitness level, whilst continuing to push you harder to deliver results.

Darren, Calum and Jovan are all excellent trainer's and each instructor offers high intensity training that is adapted for each individual's skillset.
Previous to starting my training at BOX36 I had never been to a boxing class before, so was apprehensive about what to expect. However, from my first class with Calum I immediately felt at ease and cannot recommend this gym enough.

How good is BOX36? Seven weeks ago I could barely manage 10 sit-ups and today I did 180!
Since staring at this gym I’ve become fitter, lost weight (while still enjoying cheat days a couple times a week), and I feel great overall.
The small class sizes, friendly, warm encouragement from all the team and the focus on technical boxing skills is what keep me coming back.
Cannot recommend Darren, Daniel and this gym enough - give it a try, it’ll be worth it!

I've been a member for 3 months now and have tried all the classes. The classes offer a mixture of fitness, strength and technique. Each trainer really knows their boxing, having never boxed before I was taken through the basics and my knowledge and skill have improved week after week. The small class sizes are great, they mean the trainers have more focus on you and this has really helped me improve!
The classes offer a great variety;
The Greatest is more focused on boxing and technique but still gets you working hard.
Hitman is my favourite, boxing mixed in with HIIT style body weight exercises... The trainers really push you but it's made me so much fitter!
Marvellous is purely strength and conditioning, with a mixture of weights (varying heaviness depending on your capability), skiing machine, floor exercises etc.
I've had classes with Darren, Calum and Daniel, all are great and offer slightly different variations in their classes which keeps it fresh and interesting.
I highly recommend box36 for anyone who wants to get fit and / or learn some boxing!

Booked myself in for my first session today - boxing training. Darren was a great trainer, excellent energy and clear instructions. The session overall was definitely worth it. The 50 minutes were well structure and I left feeling sweaty and great.
The company also take safety seriously: clean gym, clean equipment, temperature test at the door and good ventilation in the space.
Definitely a great space to shed the covid lethargy and get back into working out in a social space. Felt good to be working along side other people again.

You might be intimidated at the thought of joining a boxing class, but don't be. These classes are fun yet challenging. You can push yourself and the professional trainers accommodate even the most novice. Classes are small and intense so you come out in one hour feeling like you've really earned your dinner. I have done 5 classes so far and no two have been the same.

Amazing boxing gym - feel very lucky to have this place within walking distance.
- Class sizes are small, so you get support on your technique and continuous motivation
- Trainers are really friendly, attentive and approachable. They have the right balance of being pushy and friendly!
- The venue is really clean and follows safe Covid practices
- Timings are good and getting better now that there are more weekend slots and early mornings for those working
- There’s a good mix of boxing training, cardio and strength. Calum in particular is really helpful with boxing technique
My only wish is that Darren will expand into a place big enough to have a ring- to practice a little sparring!

An amazing set of 3 classes to challenge any individual. The classes are very reasonably priced and provide you with a lot of 1-1 attention thanks to their policy on a max of 4 people per class. I tried all 3 classes and came away thoroughly exhausted but notably more resilient with each session. They also provide options so you can tailor any exercise to work for you (injury or ability) and even though I had to stop a few times, I was only encouraged to keep going. None of that high pressure scary stuff like you might imagine traditionally! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try boxing. It will be tough but so worth it!!

I joined Darren’s class in January 2019, and can honestly say it’s been a great addition to my fitness regime. The class is challenging but also very enjoyable,with a variety of; boxing techniques, Circuit training, and weight training. Darren’s got a great set up here with all the essentials in terms of both boxing and general fitness - whatever you’re looking for. He keeps the sessions mixed up in terms of both technique and fitness, but is flexible to your requirements. He’ll listen to your needs and work a programme around your limitations - but will still push you in the right ways to improve.
Technique-wise he’s been brilliant for me. I find the sessions really engaging and end up as mentally fatigued as I am physically!
Top man and will continue to work together for the foreseeable future.

I cannot recommend Darren at British Boxing Fitness enough! He's a highly motivating trainer who encourages you to work to your best ability. I was already into fitness when starting my training, but he taught me so much and improved my techniques massively. The gym is small, but has everything you you need and would be great for those who don't have the confidence to go to a normal gym as its just you and the trainer. Definitely 5 stars from me.

I’ve been training with Darren for around three weeks now and already, it’s a complete game changer - in fact, life changing. As someone who generally exercises on cruise control, without ever travelling outside of my comfort zone, it’s great to have Darren right there, pushing, encouraging and coaching me to give all I have. I started with Darren around 4 weeks ago and I can't praise the sessions enough. When I started off, as most who are typically enthused do, wanted to do everything... this is where Darren's experience and approach really benefitted me. He picked the right exercises for me and pushed me to the right level of effort I needed.... I could see the progress from session to session.
In addition, Darren also gave advice on food choices as well as exercises outside of the sessions, and you can see that when you had a good week, its like he's had a good week.
