Great gym, good equipment, lots of space. The only problem is there is no ventilation. There are large windows and doors which should be opened. We now know that the spread of covid is by air and ventilation is much more important than wiping down surfaces. Opening a few windows and doors is much cheaper too! I will feel much more comfortable continuing to come as cases rise, if this is changed.

Excellent gym in convenient location - considering the price, even better! PTs are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and customers are also friendly and polite, always putting weights back and cleaning after use. Gym equipment is great - clean and in good condition, and the gym also has a large frame which is really useful for pull-ups, chin-ups etc

The equipment and facilities here are good. Everything is always clean and the staff are friendly. Lockers are free to use which I really appreciate and they have hair dryer. The music is too loud and terrible choices especially early in the morning. The classes are hit and miss. Some are great with enthusiastic and encouraging instructors while others are boring or weird.

The gym is very spacious and sectioned off so it's safe and you have your own space. They have an amazing array of different workout equipment and machines to use, the staff and personal trainers are all very welcoming and create such a friendly and inviting atmosphere. And how the sauna has reopened so that's an added bonus! 10/10 would recommend to people of all capabilities, if you're a gym enthusiast or a beginner trying to start your work out journey, and they're are so many amazing personal trainers at your disposal your really can't go wrong!

Great choice if you want a friendly gym that actually cares about you. The safety measures are very good. I also know that the owners are very nice people and encourage staff to go above and beyond for customers and make you feel right at home.

Excellent gym, brilliant instructors, lovely friendly people working out around. The equipment are fresh and recently been renewed and a great selection of classes. Better than your average Southwark gym. And on top of all that, you get a nice sauna room included in your membership price!! And if you pay an annual fee, your membership works out to around £16 a month. Highly recommended 💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👍

I think the way the gym has been made safe for users has been done really well and have no reservations about visiting. It is up to us as well to do our part by following the rules and keeping ourselves safe but happy the guys at Borough Energie have made a safe environment

Great gym that I'm gutted to have to leave (moving too far away). I always went at 6am and it was pretty much empty. The trainers and staff pretty much leave you to get on, which is a nice change of pace from the usual pushy sales tactics of a lot of gyms. They have an Olympic squat rack which is pretty awesome. Good lifting and functional fitness section, especially given it's not a very big gym. Was absolutely satisfied for the 6 months I was able to use this gym and would highly recommend.

Really great gym. If you want a trainer, there are plenty on hand. If you don't want a trainer, you aren't pestered. I particularly liked this as I find it puts me off of many clubs. Air conditioning is great in the summer. Change rooms and equipment are kept very clean. A broad spectrum of members at various fitness levels. Everyone feels very welcome and isn't judged.

Awesome gym. I found the place via MoveGB and ended up getting a membership here. Great classes, great staff, and an overall great facility. There are a lot of women which makes the gym less intimidating and the co-owner, Styles, is very friendly and receptive to feedback, if you ever have any. I highly recommend it!

Great new luxury budget gym. Excellent staff what want to know you and make you feel welcome. Good Precor machines. Classes are really good, and with a studio. Only place I know for £22.99 a month with a Studio, classes included and the mother of them all a big sauna. What else do you need ??

The gym is quite good, fantastic equipment and the staff are all very approachable even the owners which is a surprise. Definitely welcoming and positive. The price is fantastic for the area but be warned you need to pay an additional months fee even though they say there is no contract and the staff aren't always clear with what is and isn't contractually binding. Unfortunately when i cancelled my Dd i had the displeasure to speak to the general manager who was completely rude and was not understand of the fact that i was misinformed and even hung up on me. Thankfully i was contacted by the owner who was extremely professional and accommodating i listened to what he had to say and we came to an agreement. Definitely worth going to but read what you are getting into as it isnt 'no contract'.

I was a member of the Borough gym. It has a good selection of free weights, cardio machines, kettlebells, TRX, pull up bars and a studio. The instructors are helpful and crowd decent. Only drawback is the mens changing room gets very cramped during peak hours.

This is the first time I joined a gym in YEARS, my boss recommended it to me for its affordability... I must say: beyond the incredible price the staff is awesome ! There’s lot of progress going on... make sure you take some of the classes and don’t be afraid to ask for help... Specially to Lubo (he would take his time to explain the exercises, it’s purposes and benefits!) overall the gym is fantastic!

Great local gym in Southwark! It even has a sauna. Professional and friendly instructors who love fitness. If you do calisthenics there are proper bars for Your practice. Love the vibe. You don't need to pay 9 times the price for third space!

Styles and the team have been nothing but welcoming, helpful and motivating. After spending a year here, not only have I become a better version of myself but I have also made some great friends. Highly recommend this small, but well equipped gym to any gym goers at every level.

Its a decent gym and has what you need for a full workout. But i find it can be over crowded, and full with a lot of students during the evening. And now they allow teenagers as young as 16 in. If you don't mind that, then its okay. But I prefer a full adult gym with people who take their workout seriously than a bunch who likes to sit around machines and talk. For this reason, I have cancelled my membership. And, the staff are not the friendliest. In my opinion. But i cannot say this applies to all.

Gym has every piece of equipment you need. Excellent, helpful staff always ready to give advice. Sauna upstairs. Heard there's a physio and a new treatment room for people who want to be cautious with working out too! Highly recommend.

The boxing class lead by will is amazing his teaching style is fun and interactive we never fail to laugh and at the same time the workouts are intense and help you gain a higher level of fitness. His knowledge is detailed and professional. One of my favourite gym instructors amd classes !!

Good gym, spacious and good value for money. My only concern was that changing rooms/toilets were always dirty and never enough soap in the dispensers. Regular cleaning checks would improve this.

Been a few times since they re opened. The stuff are friendly as always and all the machines are well spread out. Lots of antibacterial wipes and hand gel available across then gym so you can keep everything clean between workouts.

Basic gym, with decent amount of equipment. My main complaint has to be the changing rooms. The bench area is absolutely tiny and even at quiet times sometimes you don't have anywhere to sit. Quite pathetic to be honest
