Recently joined ESPH and I love it already. My instructor really takes the time to explain everything properly (not just the equipment, but the benefits and how the body works). Really friendly staff, great to have natural light and fresh air coming in as you work out. Plus the equipment is by far the most sophisticated that i've ever used - really impressed!

I've seen several physios at ESPH over the years and they've all been excellent, quickly understanding my issue and then providing highly effective treatment. The clinic is welcoming with a very professional, friendly team. Thanks!

Over the last 3 years I have used the Physio Services at ESPH for myself and also for my employees and would highly recommend. The team are very professional, knowledgeable and supportive, and so worth the financial investment. (for those who don't have private medical insurance)
A big thank you to Maxence who has been working with me over the last 6 weeks in my recovery from a fractured foot. I am so happy to be walking normally and relatively pain free and most importantly able to go on my holiday without the need of a walking stick.

2 weeks ago in the midst of Lockdown I was unable to walk, sit, lie or do anything due to a spasm across my back. Through desperation I called and requested a virtual physio appointment and after 3 of the virtual sessions I'm pretty much in full recovery with a clear stretching plan to continue with. What a fantastic way to be able to help your clients. Thank you ESPH!

The physios at ESPH are highly experienced and very thorough. I have taken my teenage son and daughter there for various rugby and running related sports injuries. Each time they have accurately diagnosed the injury at the first session, with treatment that was immediately beneficial, and follow-up advice that led to a complete recovery.
They won't book you in for more sessions than you need and they will refer you on to specialist consultants where appropriate. Reassuring to know you are in the safe hands of experts you can really trust. The reception staff are friendly and efficient, too. Great professional service ESPH. Thank you!

I've used a wide range of ESPH's services over the years, everything from physio to massages to fix a back problem to the gym and the 1-on-1 pilates sessions. Without exception, the overall service is first class. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and most importantly what they do has worked for me. State of the art gym and pilates machines help enormously in avoiding injury and making the work out sessions more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

After months or hard training and a successful half marathon I decided to treat myself with a sports massage. The massage I received at Esph was incredible, just what my aching muscles needed! The masseuse asked about my sporting history and after the massage recommended areas of tension to work on. The environment was professional and friendly and I will definitely return again

The care and compassion of this company is second to none. Friendly faces, expert knowledge and genuine care has given me the skills to care for my back and know hopefully how to avoid any injury happening again. They help you to understand your body and be aware of physical triggers. I can't rate everyone there high enough. They deserve more than 5 stars, and would recommend to anybody wanting to heal and care for their physical well-being. I have never been pushed to have more treatment - and it felt like every member of staff new my injury and could advise at any point - even when just visiting the gym. Better than excellent!

Well, I have been attending ESPH for half a year. What can I say? Some classes are good, for example yoga with Laura and Lina, TRX with Rodrigo etc. However when I joined in August it was possible to book a class 1 day in advance. Now it is not possible what irritates a lot. Sometimes you can't book ANY class even 4 days in advance. Some classes are fully pre-booked 2 weeks in advance and you have no chance to visit it. So ESPH seems to be overcrowded as all classes are fully booked all the time.
The room where yoga and dance classes are needs to be repaired- the walls are with wet spots , air conditioners don't work what made our Caribbean dance lessons very hard to bear. The upper floor gym is quite cold and you need to wear extra sweater to be ok.
But what is one of the most important reasons why I leave ESPH is that incredible boring. All lessons are the same over and over again. All the exercises are the same week by week. After 2 month you know the timetable by heart and have no motivation to go there- everything is so slow, basic, same. That is my personal perspective.
Positive things- free towels, special pilates equipment, clean, good admins.

I went to ESPH regarding tension I was having in my neck and shoulders. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because my physio did not entirely resolve my problem. I was given quite a lot of massage which didn't seem to have many long term benefits and used a lot of time up in the session. Also, having seen another physio I've learnt that some of the information I was given was incorrect such as a strong core helps with relieving neck and shoulder tension, which has no scientific evidence to back it up. This physio was especially expensive and I would of liked to of been given more information in the sessions with reference to a diagram. I would of liked to of spoken more about stress and anxiety and how to respond to the physiological symptom as I am now aware that some vicious cycles can start when one worries about the symptom. Also, my ESPH physio did not tell me that touching the muscle made it worse and simply explained why I was doing it. I now refrain from touching it and it feels better! I would of liked to of been offered acupuncture as it helped hugely but was not. I was pleased with the letter of referral my physio gave to me as it was beneficial for the following physiotherapist I saw. I though the 3 months inclusive gym membership was very reasonable.
