J. P.Great gym with great coaches and atmosphere. Having never done any lifting before I have learnt a huge amount and now have the right technique in all the major lifts. I've massively increased my strength and cardio in the couple of years I have been a member.

D. K.Great gym with great people, both coaches and members! Training is FUN here - very open and welcoming community, no matter who you are and how fit or unfit you are. Knowledgable coaches look after their members and ensure that everyone is getting the most out of their sessions.
In non-covid times, social events like bbqs, drinks or competitions are real highlights that make being a member even more worth it.

I started CrossFit here almost two year now and from the start they take me through the basics of the movement to ensure that I comfortable and confident. The coach are excellent and the workout programs is so well programmed every other week.
Equipment is in good condition and well maintained and they recently got a new floor in!! Loved this place.

B.As a near 2 year member of 1971 and having been a member at 2 other CrossFit gyms in S/SW London - 1971 Wimbledon has a second to none Olympic Lifting program - the opportunity to attend 3 Oly Lifting classes per week - with excellent, experienced coaches - and follow a thoughtful, coherent program is something I’ve not found at any other CrossFit Gym. In addition, the collection of coaches across CrossFit, strength and Oly Lifting are the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend 1971 Wimbledon - WELL worth the cost! (Not to mention they’re way less expensive than others closer to central London).
