Tanya is one of the best strength and conditioning coaches I’ve worked with in London (and beyond). Having a background in professional dance, Tanya understands the mechanics of the body and takes her experience and knowledge to a new level - offering a personalised, varied and thoughtful routine to every class. Combing Pilates technique with strength training, Tanya is approachable and passionate about motivating her clients, regardless of where they are in their fitness journey. I would highly recommend Tanya for anyone who wants to push boundaries with their fitness (whilst still having fun).

How lucky was I to come across Tanya late spring this year in Fulham London, just as the gyms were reopening? I knew I needed to work on my flexibility and strength but didn't realise that I needed to work on the MOBILITY of my spine until Tanya went carefully through what my body struggled with. The exercises she gave me appeared, on the surface, to be a series of small movements but were actually very powerful. My weekly personal training sessions with her were a joy, as I knew my body was responding to her guidance and she has such a sense of humour! I would definitely recommend Tanya as she has studied and researched what she is teaching and works with you to achieve your aims

Tanya has one of the best, wide ranging knowledge bases I have found in the exercise environment in London.
She is so enthusiastic and genuine in wanting you to feel good that you always leave a class feeling positive. I would definitely recommend spending time with her to correct any imbalances or weaknesses and to learn how to move correctly and look after your body.
She has been so kind and very patient with all my recent health issues and will always find an alternative exercise for me in a class.
She has such a vast knowledge of everything related to health and wellbeing so she is able to advise on many different topics. She is very strict about correct form, gives very clear and precise instructions and can spot small adjustments which make a great difference to how your body works as a whole.
She is totally approachable and friendly and we always have fun as well as working hard in her classes. I can’t recommend her enough, whatever your fitness level she will be able to improve your strength and flexibility and make you feel great !

I have been working with Tanya for a couple of years now, including through lockdown, (during which she brilliantly managed to help us maintain our fitness and strength even while stuck at home) and my body is stronger than it has ever been. As a woman in my mid 50's, I needed to change the way I exercised, as my body now responds in different ways and Tanya has helped me achieve that, understanding what I need. She is precise in her teaching and I now have really good habits. I actually work out less but with better results. I love her classes - hard work but fun and friendly - and would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to make positive changes. Best instructor I've ever had!

Tanya’s strength classes are really well prepared, focusing on different parts of the body during the week. What is exceptional about Tanya’s classes is she clearly explains in detail how to do the exercise properly. She also includes which muscle it is working and how it benefits you to build this muscle. Each minute you can work to your maximum ability and by the time the half an hour is over you feel the difference the workout has made. I highly recommend participating in these classes.

I would highly recommend Tanya! For the first time in my life I felt confident about lifting weights and learnt the correct form, which lead to a huge improvement in terms of toning my body. When I first started with Tanya’s online strength classes, I felt quite weak and experienced a great deal of pain in my lower back. After 2-3 weeks I could feel my strength start to improve and - amazingly - my pain diminished at the same time. What I’m most impressed with are Tanya's personable approach, her technical expertise, and her attention to detail. She educates as she coaches, which has led to an improvement in both my physical appearance, and my understanding of how best to achieve, and maintain, my physical goals. I have been taking Tanya's "Mat Strength" class since the beginning of 2021, over Skype. As a 50 year old IT guy, I had many years of bad habits to undo! Tanya's class is based on a vast knowledge of health and fitness and her no nonsense approach provides the motivation you need to exercise regularly. She demonstrates warm-up, beginner, intermediate and advanced versions of each exercise. The exercises themselves are at times unusual, but they are very targeted and I am pleased to be seeing muscle tone forming around my core, particularly on the sides of my belly. My posture and the way I carry myself has improved and in a few more months I expect to be confident enough to post some pictures of the good physical progress I have made this year. Having your mic off during the online class provides the added benefit of hiding any embarrassing noises, which you would not be able to hide in a physically attended class. I can highly recommend Tanya's Mat Strength Class, as well as any coaching, health and fitness services she provides.

Tanya didn't sugarcoat the fact that changing my body - well, doing my best with what I have - would be a long game. The key is consistency. In the past, every time I was about to break through to a higher level of strength or fitness, I'd get injured or sick. Back to square one and often I'd give up. The difference with Tanya is she addresses ALL the muscles, large and small, in a methodical but always interesting way so that the whole body becomes gradually stronger. Technique over reps. And it's all over in half an hour three times a week. I have fast-tracked my progress by interspersing with my own yoga programme, plus I walk most days. What's happening is that the gains from Tanya's strength programme feed into the other things, and it becomes a self-propelling journey of amazing. In six months I can't believe the changes in strength and tone, and I've barely really begun. Most importantly, it's been easy and enjoyable. Thank you!
