These guys are the bridge between Personal Training and Physiotherapy. Think your every day person struggling with niggles from previous injuries as a kid, adapted ways of living into being an adult, and just “getting by” and managing it just by dealing with it because you’ve had this pain most of your life. Lenny and Ailish have opened my eyes to a whole new, and very accessible way of training, to better your body and allow your body to be used the way you want to use it. Every body is different, and not one size fits all; this is evident in The Body School’s preparation for their clients, the assessment process, training protocols, and follow ups. They’re honest, reputable and all-round legends. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

I've been a Body School member since it started (after previously attending Ailish's online classes). It has changed my approach to my training. I'm not someone who naturally feels very connected with their body so it's been a really beneficial journey to go on. There have been many lightbulb moments! I've really enjoyed online classes with Ailish and Lenny. I've also done some 1-1 remote training with Lenny which is been great too. You get a lot for your money and there's always help and support available. I'm more aware of myself, my limitations, how to overcome these and where some of those "niggles" might come from.

Did a mini block with Lenny whilst I was out injured from rugby. Have had neck/thoracic pain on and off for a long period so used this opportunity to try solve the issue.
Lenny did a full body assessment and explained the mechanics around what he felt was causing the pain.
After 3-4 week block with Lenny, I now have a better understanding of the issue and what tends to stir it up. I currently have no pain and and am moving much freer than I was before. I also have access to an online platform where I can look over previous sessions/demos.
The work carried out with Lenny has only complimented my current training regime and has allowed me to move/feel better all around.

Very positive experience working with The Body School. Attended some group training sessions which included a very thorough individual assessment and individualised training programme. I contacted the Body School as I had several long standing niggling injuries, which I suspected were all related to one another, and was looking for whole-body approach to resolve them. I am very glad that I did.
I did an initial assessment with Lenny, which revealed a lot about my mobility, how I breathe and hold myself and how that could be contributing to my problems, which Lenny used to create a training programme for me.
After around one month of taking weekly 1:1 sessions and doing the detailed training sessions (which were a combination of breath work, mobility and strength building exercises), I started to notice a big improvement in my symptoms. I am now around 7 weeks in, and am feeling much better in my body and stronger as well as more knowledgeable about my body and how to look after it effectively.
I would highly recommend The Body School and their approach to anyone that is looking to move and feel better in their bodies.

I’ve been playing professional sport for 10 seasons now and I’ll firmly say that the work I did with the Body School left me in the best possible shape of my career to date. For me, we focused on lots of trunk , shoulder movement/health and the use of breathe. After 2 weeks of work I started to feel the difference in my running, I felt alot stronger and composed especially when fatigue crept in. Usually after running sessions, my lower back and abductors would give me bother, however with the movement I did pre run along with the daily classes I was doing - these issues never presented themselves. The change in my range of motion especially in my hips, was pretty incredible to see. I now have an ability to bring my hips and knees higher in my running style which enables me to create more downward force and in turn run faster. Initially I was hesistant because of the class being done online but in all honesty I was blown away by the work we got done. Lenny and Ailish were always on hand to help with whatever questions I had, they tailored my programming to compliment what my existing training schedule was like. If anyone wants to optimise performance and all round health/wellness, I couldn’t recommend TBS enough!

I'm so glad I found The Body School. I started working with Lenny after suffering from back to back injuries in my shoulders, elbow and hamstring, mostly due to repetitive strain and joint hypermobility. I immediately loved the Body School approach to movement, which is all about helping people to gain range of motion in their joints but with control even at end range, focusing on your personal movement goals. My 1:1 coaching programme gave me personalised tools and a deeper understanding of body breathing and movement mechanics. After 5 months of work, I visibly improved my posture, adopted a new movement hygiene, own much more range in my hips and shoulders, and most importantly, I can move in so many ways with confidence and without pain!

I can honestly say that The Body School has helped me achieve my goals and I could not be happier.
I train Strongman and as such mobility is not the first port of call when it comes to gym activities, I used to suffer from tight ankles and my hips were always tight and painful. But since training with The Body School I have been able to improve my ankle flection a great deal and my hip flexors are so supple, I actually look forward to doing frog pose and it always surprises me how much hip rotation I have.
I also love the live in person classes with Lenny, they are designed for everyone of all capabilities and it's a safe and friendly environment for all.
But the thing I love the most is the on demand videos you get access to when you join. The platform has high quality and professional videos where you can select a body part, time based or a series based session. With a huge selection of videos you can always find something that will help those aches and pains. Plus Ailish and Lenny are really nice people and always have time to help you.

Lenny is a fantastic coach, he has a huge breadth and depth of knowledge and is always seeking to further his understanding of how the body works. I worked with Lenny for 2-3 months and gained huge improvements in mobility in the areas Lenny recommended we focus on. He is extremely professional and capable of working with everyone from with people from elite sportspeople through to less active people trying to fix their bodies.

I've been working with Lenny both in a group setting and on a one to one basis for a few months now and he is, hands down, the best instructor and trainer I have come across. His group Kinstretch sessions are great fun, with the right amount of challenge and individual coaching input, which is never an easy feat when working remotely. Working one to one, his vast knowledge and genuine care and attention are second to none. I'd recommend anyone who is interested in learning how to move better and feel better to give The Body School a try - and to top it off, the prices are incredibly attractive too!!

I’ve had knee problems for a long time and have seen a number of physios without making any progress so I thought I would try a different approach and get in contact with Lenny. His approach to fixing movement problems is completely different to anything else I’ve come across. He breaks things down to their foundations and has helped me correct bad patterns of movement that have been the source of my knee problems. Although the initial learning curve is tough the results are great. I would 100% recommend Lenny.
