My husband and I have been training with Carter weekly for around 18 months. During that time, he has been fantastic in helping to us to get fitter and stronger. He’s encouraging without being domineering, but equally knows when to push you to do that little bit more. Would highly recommend.

Best decision ever!
The sessions with Carter are mazing! I was struggling to get back in shape after twin pregnancy. Within a few months of training I managed to get my strength and energy level back. The sessions are never the same, he adapts the training to your level of fitness and will know when and how to push you to make sure you get the most of your training .
It can be daunting at first, but Carter's approach and professionalism will make you feel at ease and gain the confidence you need to get into exercising.

One of the best decisions I've taken recently has been to start working with Carter and his team. It has been a visible transformation for me, not just physically but mentally as well. Carter is the best PT I’ve ever had!
From being injured to full fitness, Carter will create bespoke workouts to challenge and motivate you so you get the results you’re looking for, whilst taking into account what your body can and is able to do (especially post injury).
Each session is delightfully challenging and will leave you buzzing and excited for the next one...Just be careful at how fun and addictive he can make the sessions; you will be wanting the next one sooner than you would imagine.
Carter also listens and actions your feedback; if you’re like me and hate mountain climbers (for example), Carter will offer an alternative for something you will enjoy to keep the sessions fun.
The classes are epic too, if you fancy group sessions; with the group being super friendly and welcoming; all Carter’s clients are testament to how great he is!

Coach Carter is honestly the best. Very much cares and is involved in your overall fitness, but respects boundaries and your definition of what you want to get out of personal training. Have been seeing him for almost two years now, and working with him and Anthony is directly responsible for shifting my physical health, muscle growth, fat reduction, more awareness of health/exercise technique and concepts, more personal enjoyment of them as well. Both Carter and Anthony have their own ways of pushing you, (or getting you back to where you were in cases of time away), but also listen to you in terms of what you can do, and can adapt. Also the outdoor boot camps in summer are nice to give your goal achievement a boost. Basically, best trainers I've worked with regularly, would recommend in a heartbeat if you are in the Peckham/Nunhead/Dulwich areas.

EDPT is a brilliant, generous and motivating PT. He creates workouts tailored to your needs and patience and support to reach your goals. I’d never trained with a PT before I worked with EDPT and was a little intimidated by the prospect. But Carter and Anthony have been really brilliant and also helped me adapt my lifestyle outside of the gym to support my training goals. Their online classes are personal and high quality and their boot camp was a real lifesaver during the summer when it wasn’t easy to workout in gyms. There’s a really nice community of people that train with them and it feels open and non judgemental and Carter makes sure to adapt workout for all levels making it really inclusive. Coach Cater is an excellent PT, I trained with him for nearly two years on a twice weekly basis and am just on a break due to the imminent arrival of my second child but will then be returning to training. As a busy working mum, I found finding time to exercise very challenging, and also getting the most out of the time I did have, Carter worked with me to improve my overall fitness and shift my extra first baby pounds. He is an excellent trainer and no session is the same and he designs bespoke programmes that work for you, whilst also gently pushing you improve your overall personal fitness levels.

Carter is a fantastic personal trainer, who has completely transformed my fitness levels and my physique in two short months. Sessions with Carter are always high intensity, but great fun at the same time - and throughout he always checks in to make sure you’re performing the exercises correctly, and that the level of intensity is right for you. By taking an interest in what I’m eating and regularly measuring my stats, Carter has also inspired me to keep an eye on my food intake - which has had a major impact on my progress. I had gym membership and never really went, it was boring and I was never really sure of what I was doing. I’ve been working with Carter for over a year now and feel physically stronger.

1. Exertion to your limit: encourages you to continue training by interchangeable exercises to suit your stage in fitness whilst allowing for special considerations;
2. Polite/calm/understanding: if you have any issues that normally affect you when working out, Carter is a trainer who you can share your concerns, however anxious you normally are and allows for them in the training session;
3. Reliable: always there on time and ensures you don’t drop away from your regular routine by gentle persuasion rather than hassling you;
4. Professional and knowledgable: informative of appropriate techniques and professional in their implementation into an overall plan for the session.

Great Coach! Caters to specific needs and understands how far he can push you! In my personal case after a shoulder injury, Carter really took care of how quickly i pushed myself with injury and helped strengthen my injury. When I first came to Carter about a year ago, I was really, really unfit and didn't have a clue how to get back into shape. He was completely undaunted by the task ahead and immediately put me at ease. I've made rapid progress and have upped my sessions with Carter and Anthony to twice a week as I am enjoying our varied workouts so much. If you want a PT that is going to scream and shout at you, EDPT is not for you. Cartar is a quality PT and he is by far the best trainer I have ever had. I love my boxing training and he is a fantastic pad holder and very technical with his advice. I have also done a lot of fitness work with Kartar and his High Intensity Workouts are fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about training, diet and lifestyle and i couldn't recommend him highly enough - plus he is a good bloke too!

I was always getting injured when I did any exercise so I approached Carter at EDPT to see if he could help me get fitter and stronger without getting injured - I was allocated Anthony who was amazing at building my confidence, improving my strength and working on certain muscles so I could strengthen weaker areas which helped prevent injury. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to get in-shape.
Even if you have injuries its no excuse, they can really help - may even help you save money in the long run as you can avoid the physiotherapist!

I will be 83 this month. After years of on and off -- mostly off--going to the gym I decided I need the discipline Iwould get from a personal trainer.
I started with Coach Carter a year ago. m Though I have always been a walker ,walking doesn't use your bodylike exercise does.
I had difficulty getting down on the floor-- and getting up was a joke.
After 2 weeks with Carter I could do both. That was my flrst goal achieved.
Carter deosn't do gentle execises because of my age, he really works me out and I am so much stronger and my flexibilty means that I can sit on the floor cross legged, bend over and touch my toes without effort,
do push ups and too many other excercises to name here..
I feel great and it is all due to Carter.
