Before I found Your Personal Gym and Stewart in Mill Hill , I think it’s safe to say I was a stranger to exercise in general and especially strength training.
I knew I had reached the point in my life where I needed to decide about which direction I wanted my health to go so I thought I’d get some help.
It is without doubt one of the best decisions I’ve made. Stewart’s knowledge and attention to detail in personal training have helped me improve and just as importantly understand why I need to train In a particular way.
Stewart really puts the personal aspect into Personal Training and he’s even encouraged me to make small changes to my diet that have already had a big impact.
His set up is an amazing fully functioning gym but with just me and him in it. There’s no substitute for experience and he has 25 years of that. Can’t recommend highly enough.

In all those years, latterly online as well, Stewart has always gone the extra mile for his clients - whether making boxing, and even strength training, fun or encouraging on the reluctant or tired. I’ve been training with Stuart in the lead up to my wedding. He’s got a great set up, with a good range of equipment.
He’s very good at drawing up a plan and motivating you to get into the top 5% category for your age group, setting clear and achievable goals. I can really feel and see the difference after 8 sessions and can’t recommend him highly enough. It also helps that he’s a really nice guy!

Stewart Taylor at My Personal Gym is our perfect personal trainer. My wife and I have both trained weekly with Stewart for over 10 years and he has been the guiding force in our personal journeys to whole body health. Stewart has kept us inspired, challenged and entertained in the gym and the variety of pre-planned exercises Stewart presents makes a compact space feel like it lacks for nothing compared to a larger gym. Stewart is very sensitive to the physical obstacles of age and injury (and the occasional loss of mojo) so his bespoke service flexes along the scale between rehabilitation and challenge exactly in line with his clients' needs. Only a personal trainer can do this and Stewart Taylor does it best of all. We recommend him with great enthusiasm.

Have worked with Stewart for around six years now having been recommended by my physiotherapist, he is the third PT that I have had and have been with him the longest. He has great knowledge not just in training but also with personal health and maintaining a good diet. My biggest problem is weight loss and he comes up with great different food plans to keep me interested and my weight at the level it should be and at the same time keeping me healthy and strong. His sessions are always interesting and different and he knows just when to push me that little bit harder to take me to the next level. Would thoroughly recommend Stewart and would have continued to work with him but he has now moved out of my area and am sorry to see him leave
