G. P.I've trained with many people over the years and my last 15 years have been with Richard from Dragon Kickboxing. Its just a superb club, great people of all abilities. You can train in the evenings or at anytime of day if you book private lessons, Richard has always been very flexible with my work schedule as I cant always make the evening classes. I cant recommend the club enough.
B.I have trained here for over 7 years, coming along at the start with my wife, looking for a fun way to get fit, but neither of us having ever thrown a punch. Now we have both had competitive fights, made loads of friends and I’ve earned my 2nd Dan Black Belt. I’ve never been as motivated, as challenged, and as rewarded. I’ve made loads of friends and the whole club has always been incredibly supportive and welcoming. I have also never taken up a sport which has kept me relentlessly engaged and still learning after such a period, I put all of this down to Richard’s fantastic coaching and teaching, he really knows how to get the best out of me and has helped me achieve goal after goal! As well as the fantastic evening classes, his one to one, flexible day time training sessions have helped me get some really tailored training and a really personalised experience. 5 stars doesn’t seem anywhere near enough!!

T. F.Dragon Kickboxing has been established for over a decade and it’s a top group of girls and guys. I’ve had the privilege of working with them as both an instructor and a student and I honestly never leave unimpressed.
Richard Cheval is an immensely talented instructor with a great eye for detail and by far the most important qualification going - real time in. It’s been said that martial arts and self protection has become a “buyer beware” market as it’s been saturated by anyone with access to a venue and a pair of pads. But with all these “tough guys” around how do you sort the wheat from the chaff? How many of them can vouch for their experience with the battle scars and a real, documented fight record? Rich can - and has.
To my mind, the only true test of any instructors credentials is found in the quality of the people they produce - and having watched the Dragon Kickboxing guys and girls in action I’d say the criteria has been met in spades!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Cheval to anyone looking for training. Whether you want to loose a few pounds, get fit or climb in the ring - Dragon Kickboxing will see you right.
T. B.Dragon kickboxing offers everything your looking for with it’s versatile training approach ,you can simply keep fit or push yourself into the ring at either Light Contact events or all the way to Full Contact. A place full of great atmosphere and friendly people.

V.I have been training with Rich at dragons for just over a year I initially started after having my son to lose weight and gain confidence at one class a week, i now train 4 time’s a week including one to one sessions with Rich in the daytime and can’t recommend him and the club enough, he is professional, knowledgable and friendly and would recommend anyone to him, not only have I lost loads of weight, I am fitter then I have ever been, happier than ever and have learned loads about kickboxing!
