The sessions are conveniently located and offer diverse group classes which are of high quality. Duncan is very enthusiastic, engaging and well prepared. Great playground with lots to do for mixture of ages. There is a tunnel to get to the slide which my little girl loved. Very tidy park. I didnt see any litter.

I love this park. It has a lovely play park, places to sit, a loop of paths which are great for prams and you can get on the loopline from here. I would highly recommend.

A lovely community park! This is a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids! There's limited on street parking bays on Rutland Road, but plenty of other on street parking all around the area. The entrances are pram and wheelchair accessible and the paths are in good condition, except for a very small bumpy area near the tennis courts. There's also ramp access to the Roe Green Loopline- another great pathway, ideal for walking and cycling. There's a café looking onto the tennis courts called The Pavilion, which is currently serving takeaway options in accordance with Covid guidelines. On sunny days there's an ice-cream van that serves the local area and stops near the park on Rutland Road- you have to keep your ear out! The park includes: a play area, a bowling green (doesn't look like it's in use), tennis courts (free to use, bring your own equipment), plenty of open grass to kick a ball around, basketball nets, small skate park, outdoor gym, bandstand, memorial garden, and small orchard. The entire park is very well kept and there's no visible litter! There's lots of bins, aswell as benches and picnic benches. There's additional seating for café customers overlooking the tennis courts. We'll definitely return 🙂

In these times of social distancing this park, although comparatively small, is a very safe place to walk, exercise and take in a few very welcome lungs full of clean fresh air. With it's multitude of paths and wide grassy areas it is easy to keep within your own space. I can't recommend it too highly.

This park is a beacon of light in Walkden and Friends of Parr Fold Park deserve a big pat on the back for that. We love walking the dogs there (and always poop scoop though some others sadly dont) and its a joy in Spring when all the bulbs start to come out, the rhododendrons following soin after. And it connects to the Monton Trail, offering extended walks and cycle ride connections. Perfect!

Dogs are welcome so long as kept on leashes with waste bins dotted about for owners to be responsible and clean up after their pets. Lovely clean park, real local gem

Cute park that comes with outdoor gym equipment. One thing I noticed was that dog walkers that visit don't seem too into picking up their dog poo. If you come with young kids keep an eye on them if they wander off the path.

One of the beech trees in the top wood has had a massive branch break off. The Council have marked it for cutting down because it has fungus infestation. Lucky nobody was walking in the woods at the time..Hope the rest of the trees stay safe. It is a lovely place to walk.

A good size family orientated park, with play area for young children, football and basketball goals as well as some well keep grounds. A recent addition of a coffee shop near the play area is a welcome addition. Friends of the park, a local group of volunteers, regularly maintain the park adding flowers and shrubs and helping to keep the park at its best. The park does flood in the winter so bring you wellies!

It's a good size so great for exercise. The 'Friends of Parrfold Park' are doing a great job at maintaining the park.
