Been attending kickboxing in Chorlton for a couple of weeks now. Amazing workout and great place to meet like minded people.
Fitness levels at the start aren't an issue. The trainers push you to be your best but also encourage you to go at your own pace.
I've been attending Monday nights but next week I'll up it to twice a week as you can immediately feel the difference in your fitness.
Highly recommend anyone who wants to try out kickboxing to come along. Fantastic place.

I have been training at NWCKB for a number of years now and have enjoyed every minute. I started purely for fitness as a lot of people do but then decided I wanted to grade and compete. I have decided competing is not for me but I still enjoy sparring. There is no pressure on you to do either and you get out what you put in. Monday beginners class is a good place to start as there is always lots of instructor around to keep you right.

It is not the easiest thing in the World to walk into a strange gym, and join a new class. Many people may be frightened off by the prospect itself.
Martial Arts is often tainted by these negative misconceptions. However as someone wise once said to me when I first stepped into NWCKB Chorlton, "that's the hard bit done, now you can enjoy the class".
What I have seen in other organisations and other gyms, the cliques, the attitudes etc is not at all present. There is an overwhelming sense of respect for the class and the Instructors, and what they convey is an absolute dedication to their students.
If you want to focus on fitness, then believe me these classes are spot on. But beginners are only invited to do what they can, no more. It is never lost that each member of the gym was once a beginner too.
In addition you can learn the traditional side of the Art, focusing on traditions within a proven system. It is also possible to compete and spar and many many more things.
The hardest part really is stepping through the door for the first time, and having done it, I have never looked back.
Loved it then, loving still now, and for many years to come.

Nice people. Good classes. Very popular with both kids and adults. Always a good group on Wednesdays when I have been.

Been training here for 2 years and love it. Must say I started as a total beginner without any previous martial arts experience. Classes are great and useful for any level, beginner or advanced.

If you are looking for a tough but satisfactory work out, NWCK is your thing. Easily approachable if you are a beginner and quality classes. Instructors have a lot of knowledge regarding techniques and fitness and the environment is uber friendly. I was reluctant at first as I was coming from Aikido background but then realized that this style suits me more (which is basically kickoxing and kung fu as well). Leart lots of stuff regarding my body, my limits and useful techniques in 4 years! Ignore other clubs in the area. This one is spot on. Quality over quantity
