I've been doing Andy's strength & conditioning circuit class for a number of years now, and it has improved my strength and fitness enormously, and has really helped me with running, cycling and avoiding injuries. The classes are designed to continously push what you can do week on week, with plenty of advice and motivation from Andy

Andy at Pro Balance has been training me since 2003. I am 73 years old and during this time I have been Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Stockport.
I am a retired Consultant Clinical Endocrinologist and have some musculo-skeletal issues that Andy has been working with. As a healthcare professional, I have every confidence in Andy's treatments of my problems. He even managed to start me running 5k and 10k races for charity at the age of 66. I went to Andy after having a knee issue whilst running. He quickly diagnosed the problem and then underwent a thorough physical therapy plan with me, with both soft tissue work, assisted body weight movement and exercises to complete at home. He was realistic about my goals and worked with me to get me back to fitness. Really impressed with his professionalism, personal, friendly manner and attention to detail. Made going to see him really enjoyable, even if the rehab was painful!! Would recommend to anybody who needs a some attention with a sports injury.

When I first started with Andy, my goal was simple. I just wanted to get fitter so I could keep up with the kids & enjoy racing round after them. I could have joined a gym for this, but with 2 young kids I know that it would be just too easy to find an excuse not to go. With Andy there are no excuses, he helps keep me motivated and makes me feel that I can do it. I never cancel a class unless I'm ill, I've gone when I've only had a few hours sleep and still managed a good work out, there is no way I could do that alone. I enjoy my time with Andy and I am achieving my goals of increasing my fitness and strength, I would definitely recommend giving Pro Balance a try!

I started training with Andy at Probalance in 2011 to prepare for an endurance cycle event. As a former elite athlete Andy was able to provide training which was tailored to my specific event as well as improving my general fitness. I successfully completed the event and I have been training with Andy ever since. It is now an essential part of my fitness regime and the sessions consistently push me. The sessions are always tough but fun. Andy is very flexible about fitting me in around work commitments.

Having got back into attempting to get some level of fitness back I contacted Andy to find out what he could do for me. The approach was to get back into it slowly and he suggested his circuit classes.
I have been going down on a Thursday and Sunday and I am already noticing the improvements in fitness and more importantly core strength. Andy and his team dont allow you to push yourself too hard, whilst still giving your the encouragement and push in the right direction.
110% recommended for anyone looking for a no nonsense approach to fitness !!!

I have known Andy for nearly a year now. He rather foolishly took me on to train me for the BUPA Manchester 10k! I could not have done it without him.
His enthusiasm for everything he gets involved with is incredible. He just oozes confidence and personality and is always so passionate about his work. Andy is a fantastic personal trainer and is very enthusiastic and certainly motivated me to exercise which is a feat in itself!
He is a master at making people feel at ease when in his company with his very down to earth approach and what he doesn't know about personal training, exercise and nutrition is not worth knowing.

I booked a class (bootcamp) through MagnaPass, advertised for the 27th of August, but they wrote me that the class will not take place, and only offered me the option to change it for the 28th. I had to spend time complaining in MagnaPass. By the way the class continued being advertised the whole day. I am very sorry of having to write this review. I really couldnt try their services.
