A fifth of the gym's equipment is always broken. All of the gym equipment is visibility worn down. The male toilets/showers smell very bad whereas the female's do not (changing room swap for one day). You'll find a lot of people do not put weights back, the staff try to keep it in-order during the evenings. A select few of the staff are lovely, some are not aware of membership policies/benefits,. Includes a swimming pool/sauna/steam room and a bad jacuzzi. Probably one of your best options for a gym in Milton Keynes with a swimming pool...if you get a corporate + joint discount

The floor space is amazing. There's so much room to move around and more than enough machinery to keep anyone occupied. Indoor cycling classes are regular and top quality. Showers and womens changing room is always clean, and if it had a pool area like Banantyne, it would easily be the best value for money, gym in MK. Reception staff are always friendly, lively and helpful and most of the gym staff are helpful and approachable, which is nice. It's good enough for what I need it for. I'm glad I made the switch from my old gym..

Brilliant refurbishment of the swimming pool area, much more professional than the old Virgin layout. Adult only swim times have also been a huge benefit. The gym layout since the change this month has opened up 3 functional areas which when I like to crack on with my own exercises is perfect. I was close to ending my membership towards the end of Virgin Active but glad I've stuck it out as it's just getting better each year. I was a member of David LLoyd and Virgin before this change and for the money this gym floor beats them both and that's without the free health checks and PT support!

Joined Nuffield 4 weeks ago and I’m so thrilled with the overall experience. Great atmosphere, wonderful team and fabulous instructors (especially Susan!). Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. Some aspects are a little tired and could be spruced up (changing rooms) and have you considered partnering with a cosmetic brand and supplying these in the change rooms? A really solid 4 outta 5, you’re doing great 👍🏻

I've recently left this gym due to the price and lack of classes, I joined when it was Virgin and have noticed a de-crease in spin and pump, and only Thursday evening could I do both classes together, other days I had to choose one or the other as they constantly over lap, annoying when I used to be able to do both before! I can do this 5 out of 7 days at my new gym! The booking system which isn't very old isn't great either, you can't see how many people are booked on or how busy the classes are, the last pump class I did people had to share weights! I loved the pool area after it's refurb however I skipped my usual post workout swim the last few times due to too many kids and too many people trying to swim in the two lanes, it's not a big enough pool for all that at once! sounds awful but I was paying to use a facility that was restricted use due to kids swimming lessons! Overall it is a nice gym, the facilities are good, the classes are good, and the staff are lovely, but in my opinion it's a lot of money for not a lot, especially when there are gyms close by that offer more for less money!

I am a member of Nuffield and attend several of the other gyms - St. Albans, Aylesbury & Hemel - all of these seem nicer than MK.. The ladies showers are horrid, it's dark and dirty - very uninviting. The gym is not very inviting always seems dull and cold and it's also not very friendly. The classes are good and a pretty good variety. The spin classes are excellent with really good instructors.

I joined back in August or September 2013 when it was a Virgin Active gym. I was worried about the change to Nuffield health, but needn't have been. I don't use all the equipment, and some of the facilities, such as the pool as I can't swim. Love using the rowing machines and the treadmill. What I will say is this - and this is important in my book. The main reason I'm still a member is the staff. They are all great. Friendly and on hand if you need advice. I used to belong to a gym in Dartford about 13 years ago, and I quit because there were no staff around to motivate me or even just to chat to. A friendly face sometimes can make all the difference. It's a bit like Dragons Den. Some people go on there, see the money, and that's all they think about. They don't put a value on having a Dragon on board to help their business. I feel its the same with the gym. Of course its great that's its clean, and well lit etc, but it's the staff that really make it for me. I still don't know everyones name (sorry!) but I'd like to say thanks to Omar, Maria, Tracy, Steve and everyone else there for always making me feel welcome. You all make a massive difference. Sorry to all the other staff for not remembering or knowing your names, but you are all great. I'd recommend this gym with no hesitation.

I've been a member of this gym for many years and I thoroughly recommend it. The only thing I feel has changed since the gym went from Virgin to Nuffield is that the staff are less welcoming. It is disappointing that the children's pool has been removed but we manage without it! There's an excellent range of facilities and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is not my home club (visited this morning ) Great facilities and well laid out. What really stood out for me was how brilliant the staff are. Really helpful guy in reception. When we entered the gym we were greeted by team member (who took our temperature etc He then went in to explain the “COVID safety rules “ one way system etc. This is the 4th Nuffield I’ve been in since lockdown was lifted. This is the first to have run me though the Covid rules (brilliant ) Andy (ops manager) Michael DGM) were the two team members who helped me

A great friendly and very well equipped gym that's family focused, allowing children to train if accompanied by a parent. Swimming pool, sauna jacuzzi and steam room also. Friends and family discount memberships available also 40% discount for NHS workers. Free parking. Very clean and spacious gym with a great range of equipment.

I am a pay as you go gym user and I enjoy my visit every time! Such friendly and helpful staff, lovely poolside and a large open plan gym. Also boasts lots of other services not available at most other gyms such as physio and on site doctor that I use from time to time.

I have been a member for 3 years now it's such a great club with brilliant facilities-gym, pool, spa, crèche & clinic for a decent price too. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Recommended to my friends and family couldn't say anything bad about them! Always get the added bonus of using other nuffield sites
