D. N.Went in there this afternoon while visiting from London. The staff were very nice and helpful, with the receptionist being really accommodating. It’s always nice when the staff welcome and see you off with a smile. I used the gym, which was very clean, as was the changing rooms/showers. Afterwards, I got a protein shake, where the staff again were very helpful and sorted my order out quickly. Lovely gym with a lively clubroom. Will definitely go again when I’m up!
m. s."Kieran" the first staff you meet when you go to David lloyd, make your day, always smiling, very helpful and extremely friendly. Yesterday I went with my boys, he made our visit amazing,what a day ! I need to arrange my visits with his shifts. 👍🤗
A. A.Joined last week and loving it already. The facilities are great and the classes are varied and fun. Joining as an unfit person can be daunting, but everyone has been so welcoming.

P. T.Great overall experience. You pay a premium, but this does include quite a lot of extras including pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, fresh towels. The premium price seems to mean the stereotypical "meatheads" that frequent other gyms are not present. Gym has recently had a refurb with very nice machines that have a lot of connectivity options/games etc. The classes are good, just have to book well in advance as they are popular. The place is always clean and tidy, café has a great selection of food options including Vegetarian/Vegan. Staff are very polite and friendly as well as the other members I've spoken to, just overall a good vibe and experience. Only fault I can find is with the David Lloyd App - occasionally crashes and needs to be rebooted/reinstalled but I'm sure they will figure it out eventually.

So if the kids doesn't enjoy the activities after just 6 sessions you will de expected to pay for full year..
If kids are not interested how can we force them to go...very unfair...

L. M.Usually we use our home gym which is Reading, but when visiting in Newcastle we try and make use of the DL club here. Great class (bodypump) and excellent service in the cafe.
