How many women or men over 80 go to a gym or to a Strength Training centre to strengthen their muscles and keep active? Well, I do! I am going to Christina and Stephen at their Norwich Strength Training centre. My muscle loss has stopped and I am managing better with walking. I know what I can do and I know what is difficult. I talk to Christina and Stephen about my physical problems and they listen to me. They have set up routines to strengthen my arms and legs. Some of these exercises I can also do at home. I am very grateful to them. Don't wait until next year, next month, next week, your weakening muscles won't wait. The nicest thing is I always feel so much better after each session. I'm always glad I put my shoes on and went to Norwich Strength Training. Christina and Stephen, who run the centre, have great qualifications. They know what they are talking about and what they are doing. They are pleasant and efficient and I am very glad I have met them. I have started lifting small weights and I can feel the benefit as I press down on my feet and slowly raise the bar up along my legs. Each step I take is carefully watched and commented on and noted down. Each week I wonder how much more I can do. Each week is a step further in keeping me well and active.

I had a great experience here. The environment in the gym is paradoxically motivating and simultaneously calming and this is because Stephen and Christina are both expert coaches. I highly recommend attending and talking with them about your goals and seeing all the help they can provide.

A hidden gem of as gym, close to the city centre, but plenty of parking. Professional strength training equipment in a down-to-earth environment. Coaching offered is excellent, with personal training plans for pure strength, or to compliment your other sporting interests. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a more structured strength class to enable me to keep doing my favourite exercise of running. I knew it was important to maintain and improve my muscle mass and endurance, so having spoken to Christina I had a trial session at Norwich Strength Training. I’ve been working with Christina and Steve for almost two months and am so pleased with the progress I’ve made. I get great coaching and encouragement and know will feel the benefits when running. If I want to continue running at the level I’m at now, I now the strength training will be the answer.

Yes, and it really works! Not only that, but it's fun too (most of the time!) excellent coaching, with carefully designed personal programming. I've been going for two years and it's the best training I've done.
