Has everything you need - I find a lot of the equipment, although older - more comfortable to use. For example I attended the gym group in the city centre for 3 months - this gym is all about looks - their lat pull down machines look nice but have a thick rubber coating around the bar - making it much bigger in circumference and thus harder to grip meaning less weight. These gyms are usually packed so you’re waiting 30 minutes+ for a squat rack whilst the person on it takes photos of themselves in the mirror. The list goes on.. Liberty on the other hand has great equipment, great staff - although it’s a smaller gym you’re never waiting around to jump on a piece of equipment - and the atmosphere is much more friendly so you feel more comfortable asking to jump in with someone. The gym isn’t full of posers which is nice, just decent people. Also has flexible payment options so if a friend is visiting they can just buy a day pass. There’s also not a recurring bill payment method - so if for someone reason you’re away from town for a months+ you’re not going to be paying for a membership you’re not using.

Liberty Gym may not be that flamboyant and trendy gym where youngsters assemble for aerobics or to flaunt new training gears, but it is sure stocked to the brim with all the equipment you may require of a full-fledged gym. All the staff at Liberty are very helpful and courteous. If you're a newbie, you could be linked up with certified trainers who would put you through at a cost. Lol. The fighting area upstairs is very decent too, especially the kick boxing ring. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to register and start visiting Liberty for your workouts! They have an array of fitness nutritional products for sale too.

Excellent friendly no frills gym. Good range of equipment. You can pay for just one session if you wish. No induction needed if you are experienced. Popular with bodybuilders and boxers.

Old school spit and sawdust style gym. What it lacks in posers it makes up for in battered iron and battered kit. Also note plenty of space upstairs for boxing and BJJ training.
