Reviews of Living Well
I use the swimming pool for lessons with my daughter, it's a nice, clean environment, and the staff are very friendly and professional
Used since I am in the Hilton, not sure if would use it otherwise. Depends on price I presume.
Best staff, always got a friendly smile.
I have a membership get yours 😎
Love the spa area.
Excellent
Wery good
My gym love it
😆😁 great swimming pool
Good place to explore.
Nice
Plenty of equipment so you don't often have to wait. Staff helpful and it is generally clean though a close look does reveal dust in some places. But overall a pleasant experience.
Good place
The club is clean and generally well organised. However, the pool area is very poorly lit, with pool lights not active and only a few spotlights lighting the area - although this may not be a health and safety issue (although the lack of light is certainly a potential risk) - the atmosphere is generally poor and un active. In addition, the bubble pool is very poor indeed and in need of a much needed upgrade. Attitude from staff is impersonal but polite with the manager regularly being seen - however, the general desire to improve things seems to be lacking. With a lot of Club Moativation members now transferring to this club (due to a fire) - this needs to be used as a catalyst to improve swim facilities. The gym itself is considerably better and provides a good range of facilities - with the staff being well informed.
I think its lovely. The pool is very relaxing, the gym area is small but has all the facilities needed for a good workout (trx, kettlebells, weights etc), staff are nice and changing rooms very comfortable.
Staff are great, great location and facilities are clean and useable. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is because I think the gym could benefit from being bigger. It's a small place.
Anyway, couldn't reccoemend enough.
Some really badly behaved uncivilised clientele of a certain demographic on weeknights. Aggressively and dangerously throwing weights and equipment around damaging it in a pathetic attempt to look hard and intimidate others. Obviously they also don't re-rack the weights they throw on the floor.
Same in changing rooms yelling and trying to intimidate. Shouting in steam room sauna and behaving like nobs in pool too. Worse behaviour than a PureGym tbh. Doesn't befit being below a Hilton hotel.
Needs a bit of TLC as a facility too, a bit tatty and grubby around the edges, especially changing rooms which are always quite dirty with litter strewn about (see above for uncivilised clientele).
3 stars for good location and (relative) value for money and staff nice enough - otherwise I'd give 1.
Great pool
Been a member for a few days but like the place. Friendly staff and they are due to do some upgrades also. Recommended a few friends as well.
