Carl has been helping my mother, who is in her mid seventies, for a few months now. She has quite a few health conditions and poor mobility, but he's been able to build a lovely rapport with her and give her gentle exercises which help to keep her moving. She looks forward to the sessions, and always enjoys seeing Carl. Carl is very communicative and always lets me know how they have got on each week. I would highly recommend him.

Carl is the personal trainer I have been looking for, for years .. he is personable and approachable, and has an expertise that I completely lack. He has shown me the muscle groups I need to exercise, but more importantly has done so by designing a number of programmes which enable me to develop all the key parts of my body - chest, back, arms, legs, core - while providing me with enough variety to avoid becoming terminably bored (I am so easily bored...)

I really appreciate being able to log onto Carl’s zoom exercise class five times a week. It is at a great time, for a manageable amount of time and gives me the motivation I need to keep managing my physical and mental health positively on a day to day basis. I enjoy the exercise routines and feel better for doing them. A great way to start the day. I am a very happy participant!

Carl has literally changed our lives! As a couple in our 50s we were wanting to get fit but were intimidated by many of the mainstream offerings. We went along to a class advertised at our local community centre and found Carl's programme just right to stretch us. He moved his classes online during lockdown and we then started doing personal training sessions in the park as soon as we were allowed. These are targeted at our needs but our adult children have joined us from time to time and have also benefited from the routines! He has a wonderful way of increasing the workload just enough to push our limits whilst keeping us engaged and switches the routine regularly to ensure a full body workout. Always enthusiastic and smiling! We feel so very much better than 2yrs ago - stronger, fitter, slimmer...and younger!

Carl varies the exercises and pushes us enough so I never get bored! He uses low impact exercises which I can do even with a bad knee, and he suggests alternative exercises as a matter of course so that anyone with a problem doesn't have to ask. Carl is very nice and very motivating, and he tells us the benefit of the exercise as we're doing it. He's very professional but also very approachable. I went to a live class in our village hall with him, and when the pandemic came I was so glad when he continued his classes on Zoom. Its a very good way to start the day. I also welcome the stretching exercises before and after the exercise class as its very important, and Carl always devotes time to this. I recommend his classes highly to anyone thinking about it.

Joining Carl's online morning classes three months ago has been a fun and easy way to get and stay fit for my husband and me: just showing up most mornings for half an hour, and we both feel more flexible, have gained muscle and strength, and it has given us the incentive to get out and move more in general. Carl is laid back and friendly which is so refreshing. I'd say joining the class long-term is likely a fantastic preventative for the more serious disabilities of getting older and creakier as well. I have been delighted with Carl’s online classes.
They are well timed to get a day off to a good start. I appreciate the punctuality and the lack of faff. Go online, do the class. Thirty minutes later, stretched, heart exercised, muscles strengthened and balance and coordination improved its time to get on with life. Isn’t that what everyone needs as they age to stay confident and well?
Carl is a competent, kind, observant teacher and he looks after the group well.

I thoroughly enjoy Carl's zoom sessions, which are an ideal length, aimed at different levels of fitness & easy to follow. Some of the exercises are challenging but that is the point!

I was reasonably fit before starting these exercise classes with Carl, but whatever level one is, he encourages you to try much harder than if you were doing exercises alone. I now have a flatter tummy, and am stronger all-round, - and it’s amazing value! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👏👏
