I’ve always been nervous in joining something like this, conscious of people watching me but the team at Tuffcore have been so attentive and motivating! From my first conversation with Igor, I felt that he understood exactly what I needed. I tried a taster session, loved the vibe and atmosphere and felt very comfortable. Signed up for the 6 week training immediately after and have finally started a fitness journey! I’ve had my first few sessions and appreciate that the trainers cater to individual needs and still push you to the best of your ability! Can’t wait to see where this journey takes me! ☺️

Excellent experience from the very first phone call through to starting my personal training with Igor. Tuffcore/Igor are extremely professional and friendly. Where should I begin. Before I started with tuff corse I was very inconsistent with my workout and struggling to lose weight. In May weighted about 88kg and that’s when I said energy was enough and contacted Igor. I have signed up for the 6 week classes and x2 a week workouts. Little did I know that it would actually work, even without a strict diet and mainly just doing g the weekly classes with Igor I have lost 6kg and felt much more motivated to work out and even eat cleaner. Tuffcore really helped me kick start a healthier life and helped me motivate create healthier life style habits that helped me not only lose weight but also feel better about myself mentally and physically. If you don’t know where or how to start I would say this was the best decision I have made. Results speak for them-self.

This is a great and fun training place. Igor makes the sessions really exciting by encouraging you to work hard while having a laugh. He is very friendly and responsive to feedback given to him and to his studio. The studio is petite which makes the sessions feel as if they are with a personal trainer. Highly recommend it.

I have been going to TUFFCORE for 6 weeks now and I never felt more comfortable and confident working out before. I always used to shy away and avoid going to the gym because I felt a lack of comfort and insecurity because of thoughts like I would be the only one not knowing what to do in the gym. Since finding out about TUFFCORE and that it’s for ladies only, I decided to give it a good and I would say that my experience has been nothing but positive. The kind of women who attend are all lovely and are here to motivate each other regardless of how long / good and experienced they are. This is further ovely coaches, coach Igor and Mody are go above and beyond to ensure that we are all comfortable and confident. It’s been 6 weeks and I am already seeing a different not just when it comes to my body measurements but with my nutrition and also mentally/emotionally. Firstly completed the 6 week course in March time and continued as a member ever since. Tuffcore is definitely the most convenient and most interesting place I’ve been to, all the coaches are very professional and know their stuff, they are very helpful in helping to perfect technique and ensuring we are getting the best out of each session. What a fab place to be a part of! Like many reviews here, I signed up as part of the 6 week training programme and continued as a member afterwards because of the great experience and personal care you get from the coaches. They manage to make every session feel different with varied workouts and goals and because we train in such small groups they can make sure you are doing every exercise properly without risking injury. An encouraging and positive environment that now actually makes me enjoy going to the gym (not something I thought I'd ever say!)

I joined Tuffcore’s 6 week plan in April 2022 as I hit a wall with my commitment to physical training. I had started lockdown in 2020 at my fittest I had been in years. My anxiety during the pandemic was vented through continued regular exercise at home and regular runs. A year ago, ‘returning to normal’ took over and I lost that discipline and started to feel the effect immediately on my body and mind. I needed an intervention. I looked up Tuffcore and thought it fit what I needed. I joined with some level of skepticism, not that I doubted the trainers’ credentials but more the atmosphere and effectiveness of their model. I was proven wrong, thankfully :) Tuffcore delivered on their promises in three ways: 1- Tuffcore made my wants and concerns as an individual the centre of their offering. I was a visible person from the second I contacted them and not a membership number on their system. This is why it’s suitable for women from various walks of life that are short on time and energy and feel the need for better physical health irrespective of their stage of fitness and physical abilities but are tired of gyms. It’s the closest to a personal trainer provision but with less pressure both psychologically and financially. It’s that sweet-spot that provides the ‘group’ motivation of a gym without being lost in numbers and left to struggle on your own. You are an individual that gets checked on in class and outside. Missing a class becomes a rarity rather than a gym norm! 2- Tuffcore provides ‘a safe environment’ for women who empathise with and support eachother as they tackle their fitness goals. It’s a small group and the positive energy is palpable. 3- the trainers are professionals who understand physiology and carefully push your mind to meet what they judge your body is capable of doing without risks of injury. This is something not everyone can achieve without a personal trainer’s intervention. Tuffcore team treads the friendliness/authoritative line very carefully; it’s a very challenging demographic they work with and they do it very well. This is why I am back for a second course now. I've recently returned to Tuffcore for group classes after working with Igor as a PT client a few years ago. Well, where do I start .. I am now coming up to the end of my 4th month at Tuffcore Fitness.. Completed my first 6 week challenge and started to realise how unfit I am... Back then I was struggling with discomfort in my lower back and finding time to exercise and improve my health was my priority. I was never a gym goer, but I attempted to join the Ladies only classes as it seemed like this is not going to put me off.. I have nothing but praise for Tuffcore Fitness as a whole. The trainers (Igor & Mody) to all my new “gym buddies”. If you have any doubts about coming in, push them aside, you will NOT regret it. There are no egos or carpet carriers, just normal ladies who want to get fitter and stronger. No matter how unfit, overweight or inflexible you think you are, you will be able to do everything, even if it does take a slight modification like it did with my body. 6 weeks ago I was grumpy and agitated about the fact I couldn’t motivate myself to work out. My boyfriend mentioned TuffCore. He’d seen the shop front and mentioned that the advertising was very professional. The next day, I enquired. Due to my working hours, I booked in for my free consultation phone call on a Saturday morning. Igor called on the dot and was so positive, polite and listened to my needs. I was sold. Tuesday and Thursday were my free classes with the 6 Week Transformation. On the Tuesday, Igor greeted me for the first time and straight away used my name/knew who I was. Since, he has pushed me every class - knowing what my goals are. Each session is thought out with a woman’s body in mind. Its different each time, but of course with parts that do so you can get PBs. It’s as much a face workout as a body one, constantly smiling and laughing whilst being supported mentally and physically by Igor and Mody. My time at TuffCore comes to an end next week, and I will be staying. I look forward to seeing the ladies, and feeling inspired and motivated Igor and Mody. I could say so much more. Best decision I've made for myself in a long time. Igor and Mody are fun, supportive and encouraging trainers, which makes workouts actually enjoyable, who knew?! I've been attending small group classes for Ladies Only at Tuffcore since November last year.. It's a fantastic environment to achieve personal fitness goals, whatever they may be. After getting stuck with my goals, I knew I would get the adequate support I needed to start working out in a healthy way. What caught my attention the most was the private, small group classes for only ladies as I am not a gym goer and I never felt good in such crowded places. The group sessions are never boring and the exercises are well explained so you can improve from week to week. After just 5 months I feel so much stronger and healthier. Having suffered a significant bereavement in my life I lost my way with fitness, routine and diet. I struggled with motivation, sleep patterns and ate junk for comfort. I have reached out to Tuffcore Fitness and joined '6 Week Alpha Transformation Programme' to suit my work schedule. It helped me to commit to regular training that was very effective in changing my whole body shape, especially arms, chest and legs. Struggling with dodgy knees Igor tailored my training to build up my strength and increased the weight I could handle, even in the group class without affecting the rest of the group. I gained confidence in what I could do and Igor struck the perfect balance between pushing me to achieve the most and keeping it fun to work out. My journey into my personal fitness has not been straight forward. Previously, I was forever putting exercise in the back of my priority to do list. The covid pandemic began, lockdown ensued, and my routine was just working in a hospital and going home. Fortunately, the Groundhog Day routine eased once lockdown relaxed, which in turn got me thinking if I am to take care of people to the best of my ability, I needed to focus on my own self-care and well- being. What enticed me to join Tuffcore was that it catered for women only, and women over the ages of thirty, it was reassuring to know that the group of ladies were probably like minded and in the same boat in relation to fitness. I was pleasantly proven wrong. The women in my class were amazingly strong and fast paced, whereas I was embarrassingly feeble in strength! I knew I had to play catch-up and continue to do so. What made it easy to adjust and become part of the group was that the ladies were extremely forthcoming and supportive from the outset. From the beginning, I was welcomed by both coach’s Igor and Mody. Their laid-back persona made me very comfortable to engage in class, free of any intimidation. We frequently discuss dietary needs, intake which led me to change some eating habits. I eased off the takeaways in the evening and I now rarely eat after 8pm. They continue to push me in improving my strength and stamina by increasing weights in training. Diet modifications and regular exercise regimen helped me to return to my size six form, all my clothes now fit better, and I am now in the best shape ever. I am incredibly grateful to both Coach’s for my physical transformation results, and I look forward to maintaining as well as improving on this status by consistently attending the training sessions.

I thought about training for a while and thought it might be good for me. I was already good with going to the gym and my diet actually wasn’t too bad. I put it off for a while and a couple of my friends had training with Igor at Tuffcore Fitness. I must say procrastinated for a little bit and eventually got round to beginning my own journey. The training was great and the diet info was very helpful but the changes didn’t happen right away. I was already in a medium shape so it was a bit of a struggle to do the level of exercise and diet I needed to for changes to start happening however with his mental support I've managed to come out the other end with fantastic results. Having Igor as a coach continually nudging me to get to the gym and sending across my food diary every day helped to keep me on track to get me into the best shape I’ve been in for a long time. We also went through exercises and training plans I just wouldn’t have known about or been able to do without properly being shown how. Please, do yourself a favour, pick up the phone and book your first session with Tuffcore. You will not regret it. I went to Tuffcore to tone up and slim down after having children over 2 years ago and I'm still going. With PT classes I never hesitate about showing up, and I never check the clock during each session. Tuffcore really takes the time to build a strong rapport with all of their clients and gets to know them and their goals. He is incredibly supportive, but you work hard. He tailors every session, so it never gets boring and the chat and banter makes it fly by. Can't recommend this highly enough. I'm fitter, stronger and happier as a result.

I began '6 Week Alpha Transformation Programme' with Tuffcore Fitness following few minor injuries, with the goal to get back to exercising regularly but safely. Igor’s approach to each session has been great where we have focused as a group on rebuilding core strength, reintroducing weights as well as cardio, it's literally super effective sessions when you mix these 3... and the results are fantastic, after few weeks my shoulders have become so much more visible. Combining my own jogs with our 6 Week Alpha Training have helped me get my back to ful recovery and I am becoming stronger, feel great and my confidence is off the roof. 'After starting the '6 Week ALPHA Transformation Programme' I have realised the attention to detail of the programme at Tuffcore is a different level. 'Having been infrequent gym goer, I decided to invest in some group classes to maintain my enthusiasm and make the most of my gym membership. I didn't feel very confident to enter the big commercial gym so I was searching for something smaller and less intimidating and then I came across Tuffcore Fitness. Igor helped me to understand the importance of healthier nutrition and thought me how to exercise correctly, something I would never have previously contemplated, with a combination of gym work and a child. Since I've started we;ve never completed the same workout - ever!.. Coaches vary our routine and maintain our energy and enthusiasm during the programme. The team at Tuffcore really do care about you and supports you all the way through enabling you to keep exercising safely leading to quick fat loss. What can i say. As an unfit mother of 2 with very little infact zero self confidence and had no clue what i was doing when it came to keeping fit and self motivation. It was only at a stage where it was getting to stressful and i knew i had to do something about it ,worse at my age . When i googled personal trainers in my area i was taken away from the reviews ive seen about Tuffcore ,so decided to give it a go. Ive been with tuffcore for nearly 4months and all i can say is i do not regret it at all. Have been a member of this studio for over three months now and it is without doubt the best female gym in Oxford.. I never loved exercising more, and it's all down to the team and other ladies in the class who are like minded and there is always a healthy challenge, which makes the workouts so much more enjoyable. Finding Tuffcore has been amazing. I enquired 8 weeks before I actually joined and wish I had joined earlier. Recently I started at Tuffcore Personal Training, I was frustrated, fed up and tired of things that DO NOT work for me.. I am new in town and I have just been going for 2 weeks because as it comes to regular gym routines, those haven't worked out for me. Having a personal trainer that focuses on me, my posture even when I am in class of 4 to 6 women, I still have the attention from the trainers. After each training session I can feel my body burning and I am glad because that is a sign that I am working hard to get fit. Sometimes the number of attendance increases but on the positive side we do alternative workout one start and one rest, sounds easy but the faster the other person works out the less time you have to rest compare to the gym if I was alone, I would have given up because no one would have been there to push, motivate me and keep me working hard. In those group I have come to meet many wonderful ladies who encouraged each others to get in shape and also share healthy eating habits. I worked long variable hours and it is financially affordable for me to join the group classes. My schedules changes at the time but I have managed to be flexible and go three times a week to either the morning sessions or evening ones. They do offer individual classes as well at different times of the day but I prefer the group sessions at moment. NmB

I had an amazing 6 weeks at Tuffcore Fitness. Igor and Mody were very supportive and l loved the ladies that were in my classes. I have a busy work schedule and with two kids as well, finding a perfect time for training has always been a challenge for me. Igor was very supportive and he helped me work out a schedule that would work for me. I can honestly say l had the best summer ever this year because my 6 weeks at Tuffcore were great. This was a big challenge for me as I was totally out of my comfort zone but was keen to see what Tuffcore could offer me after seeing their advert on Instagram. Coach Igor and Coach Mody are both so friendly, they also make the classes fun, challenging and know how to push me as well as making me feel comfortable. I am definitely seeing changes! These guys make regular contact outside of our classes too, which helps you stay on track. The classes are small and fun with all ladies all wanting to smash their goals. I am so much fitter and stronger that what I was and cant wait to see more of my body changes in the next coming weeks/months. As an added bonus I have formed lovely relationships with the ladies that attend.

Can’t recommend this all ladies gym enough! I’ve been at Tuffcore Ladies ONLY classes for a few months and it’s the best thing I ever did for myself was by joining. Really enjoying my Tuffcore experience. I joined the six week programme with a goal in mind - to fit a wedding dress in three months time. Wedding has passed (I fit!) but I'm staying - beyond the weight loss it's such a joy to feel yourself getting stronger and healthier, and the training and encouragement from Igor and Mody is absolutely brilliant. Small class sizes with lovely other ladies make it feel a very safe and friendly (and non judgemental) atmosphere, and the trainers are always supportive and motivating while mixing up the classes so that it is never dull. I've never enjoyed exercise that wasn't a sport before, or been able to stick with it, but I really feel motivated to keep to the regime and work for the results.
