Not a chain-gym, not a body building gym, not a crossfit box.
I wanted a place where I can work myself but also be able to have professional advice when needed. It took me a few months and few failures scanning through the gyms in the area before I entered Elements Training. Martin and Sam ( the owners ) have years of experience in the industry and this shows. The setting is flexible enough to let experienced users enjoy and beginners to benefit too. I strongly recommend if you want your own place to work or need a PT's guidance for specific goals or just want to attend a few classes per week.

Fantastic gym in Peterborough. I’ve been coming to Elements gym for nearly a year and it’s the only time I’ve had the motivation to stay committed to my fitness. Can’t thank Sam and the team enough for all of their hard work. Super friendly environment too.

Elements is easily the best gym in Peterborough, I’ve been to a lot of places where you can lift heavy stuff but the knowledge of the trainers here is second to none by a mile! I’ve always felt like I knew more than the staff at the previous gyms but here I feel like I know nothing and I love it. The classes are expertly crafted and the plans put you at the centre of them and focus on your goals.
If you’re thinking about joining a gym, then come down and speak with the guys, they cater for everyone and the atmosphere is one of co-operation not competition.
This place made me love coming to the gym again. The Elements effect is real!

This is truely a great gym. After being stuck in lockdown and choosing to start a new career while in lockdown I knew I needed to get back to a gym and work on my fitness. I decided to join elements, it was a completely different gym that I have been use to but I knew I needed to do something diffent then going to a gym just to life weights and get bigger, so I went down to elements and joined up. Martin did my induction and went through a fitness test with me and made a plan of what I wanted my goals were and what I needed to work on which would help me in my new career but would also help me in basketball which I have played for many years. Martin also help me relise the importantness of these exercises. The gym it self is great has a variaty of equipment for everything you would need, staff are great and extemely helpful and always at hand to give tips or guidence. They do classes which are great and fun to do. If you are looking to join up at a gym I would highly recommend elements.

After struggling to regain some mobility, flexibility and strength after being diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in my knees 4 years ago, I came across Elements Training online programme. I made huge progress following the programme, and decided to sign up for PT sessions. I was allocated Lukas who took me through a thorough consultation and fitness evaluation and has delivered a programme devised specifically for my goals. These are not off the shelf fitness plans!
The gym itself has a great atmosphere, and Lukas has delivered some challenging but rewarding workouts. He's friendly, knowledgeable and has clearly done his research regarding my knees. Highly recommend!

It's a brilliant gym. Martin and Sam have a very individual approach to every client and it makes the whole experience feel as if you are having PT sessions rather than attending a standard gym. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a smaller, intimate, friendly and non-chain gym!

Elements is focusing on the technique as it is very important that you have a good technique when doing any exercises or movement or weight lifting otherwise you will get the injury. I have been training with Martin for almost a year. During that time I've dropped two sizes in both my trousers and shirts. He has helped with my diet. I feel much stronger and healthier and my wife says my body shape has changed :-). I have found him to be very easy going about things, but serious about helping me reach the goals I want. He has kept my motivation high and written a home workout and also a gym workout so I can train whenever I like! Martin is a great motivator, but not in a army officer way. 'Like most men, I thought having a personal trainer was a waste of time and money. After all, I knew, or so I thought I knew what to do in the gym for a two to three hour work-out session on my own. It was only when my wife finally persuaded me to contact Martin Smith, that I saw the value of using a highly professional personal trainer.
During the initial assessment, I was pleasantly surprised at his training regime, it was not all about lifting heavy weights only. I quickly signed up for a session of ten, each session was for an hour and in this time I was achieving more than in my two/three hour sessions alone, the results are AMAZING! I have now been with Martin for just over a year and I can honestly say, I feel the fittest that I have ever felt.
Martin plans my training routine before I arrive and every session is different, combining, strength, cardio, core and flexibility. The routines vary and keep it interesting as well as challenging. The hour flies by, but I always feel that I've worked extremely hard.
Being an avid squash player, I was having problems with my knees. Martin's targeted training method has meant that I can still enjoy the game that I love for many more years ahead.
I cannot thank Martin enough and can honestly say that I would never go to a gym without a personal trainer, in particular the training method used by Martin.'

I would highly recommend Martin as a personal trainer. I had never really done much excerise before as I dont have the best coordiation or balance however Martin breaks everything down for you so you cat start small and then build yourself up. He provided me with a routine to do at home and great advice on eating healthy and diet planning which has been a permanent lifestye change for me. While training with Martin I noticed a difference in my body shape in weeks which gave me the motivation and confidence to keep going! Martin also gives great advice on how to loosen up tight muscles which can help you when exercising
