The best gym in Peterborough. I tried nearly all gyms in Peterborough and can tell from my experience that nowhere got that much help as here. Not sure how to start? Come and ask! That's how I started. At Fengate gym you will get all the information, they will show you how everything works. I felt uncomfortable when started, because wasn't sure how to use most of equipment. At my first visit Steve showed how everything works, which equipment would be good for a starter. Then I got the best training app. Thanks Kyle! They don't take any questions as silly. Few month later and I'm still there. Not just members of staff but other people very friendly and helpful!

Best gym in the city! Huge selection of equipment both new and classic. Really friendly staff and supplements available to buy. Good music playing too

My experience with Fengate Gym has been and continues to be perfect. Good mix of functional fitness with traditional gym equipment, space for Olympic lifting too. Definitely recommend and encourage everyone to try it out, you won't be disappointed. A special shout out to Gaffer (Steve) He's always been very welcoming and kind.

The best gym around, wouldn’t want to go to any other gym in Peterborough! Old school bodybuilding with a good variety of equipment to meet the needs of all.

There's nothing worse than starting a new gym and having that daunting feeling but when I Began at Fengate gym I didn't have that everyone's so friendly and I don't worry about working out on my own Love coming to the mix classes and feel welcome they really push you. Steve is always available for some friendly advice and support within your workouts.

Unreal facility. One of the best independent gyms I have trained at. 3 gyms in one. Old school bodybuilding, brand new functional training kit and then your cardio section. Something for everyone. Great vibe, highly recommend.

This is a terrific gym. I can not fault it. Good spread of weights, equipment and facilities. One of best thing about the gym was how it responded to the covid19 pandemic. After the initial closure of gyms the communication from the gym was excellent. On the re-opening of the gym Steve followed infection control guidance and developed a system in the gym which has kept us all safe. I work in healthcare and was really impressed how he managed to develop a new process of online/app booking into a session, ensuring the gym was not crowded, sterilising equipment, plenty of sanitising available and social distancing whilst you work out as well. The whole process of going to the gym is smooth and feels safe. It was sad to see the 2nd lockdown restricting gyms from being open as Fengate Gym had a very safe operating procedure in response to covid19 and would pass an inspection which Steve had requested as well. More than impressed with the gym, owner and the trainers. This gym is a true credit to the health and wellbeing of our town and has been keeping us safe during this difficult time. I look forward to gyms re-opening and am confident Fengate Gym will always have the best process/protocols in place to ensure all members are safe and most importantly continue to enjoy their workouts.

Proper gym decent people all round great staff, if you don't get on at this gym the problem is probably you. Been training here for best part of 15 years and have never had a problem always supportive when I was powerlifting as long as you cleaned up the chalk lol which is fair enough . Proper equipment heavy duty free weights or cable and cardio, even an area to do monkey bars . And all for a very competitive price to train at. Great atmosphere

Excellent gym and given the on going issues with regards to this Virus every machine and weights get cleaned and surgical gloves are provided and must be uses or no entry. Can't say fairer than that. Well worth a visit.

I miss going to this place. due to family I have had to move to another gym with a swimming pool and children activities but this gym will always be the best in peterborough for me. great atmosphere everyone helps out and it feels more like a social iron club than a chore.
