A great day out as guests of Babcock's Women's Network at Albion rugby ground in Plymouth watching our boys beat Cambridge! Great food, especially the cheese and port at half-time.

I've been using this gym for a number of years. There are probably others better equipped and, especially during these Covid times, there are fewer machines available. I have also done classes here. These are also good. What sets this gym apart for me is the friendliness of the trainers and other staff. They have been consistently helpful and encouraging over the years I have been using it.

Went here recently for my second jab and for that it was well easy. The day I went it was very quiet and I was in and out in a few minutes. The grounds look well kept from what I could see.

Friendly staff, excellent selection of classes. Highly recommend Lee, engaging friendly and very understanding and conscious of everyone in the classes and their different levels of fitness. Great gym floor as well, plenty of choice of machines, weights and good opening times. Nice community feeling been going for nearly a year, love it!

I have attended the centre as part of my weight management scheme. I am in the process of trying to lose weight and for three weeks we have been going to the sports centre to try some safe exercises. The staff are simply awesome and willing to help anyone at any time. They also sent me special offers to help me get back into regular exercise. Thank you Brickfields Sport Centre.

Lovely and quiet environment. Good desk staff who get to know you and good clean rooms for exercise classes. Esp the dance studio upstairs, with mirrors. Good showers. No pool, but probably what keeps it nice and quiet.

Went here for my second Covid jab. I can only comment on what I saw,and that is the building is lovely inside. It is part of the club house for Plymouth Albion Rugby club.

++ Brilliant staff. Large venue. Most pints £3.50 ish - - Gets cold. Wind noise. Pint of cola £3.00 I had a great time here in the marquee off Damerel Close. The bar staff were efficient and well mannered. Most problems stem from the weather more than anything, so your experience may vary. Would easily accommodate weddings, birthdays, corporate events and more.

I seriously underestimated this excellent gym when I first looked it over. Consequently I joined a 'hardcore' gym further away, but yes, I never went. When I eventually joined due to the gym's proximity - I could not believe how well equipped this gym actually is. It has a completely non intimidating and non judging atmosphere. There is not a steriodal guy in sight - and lots of the patrons have serious disabilities too and they feel totally comfortable and accepted here. One word: JOIN!!!

Brickfields was enjoyable the staff were doing their job making sure ppl cleaned down the equipment after use. Enough space was left between equipment for social distances to be possible.

Plymouth relay for life have their annual fundraiser here. For 3 years I’ve supported them by performing walk around magic. Great space if you have bigger activities.

Recently used this when we went to an athletics competition. Very well kept, lovely cafe on site with really friendly mum and daughter team working together. There's a beautiful building just outside but unfortunately has been let go to ruin what a shame such a historical building has been left to rot.

As a ground steward on match days I may appear somewhat biased but as a rugby fan Plymouth Albion RFC is a lovely compact arena to watch a game of rugby hosting food outlets and boasting good bars to wet ones whistle while watching the game. Albion are a family club and under 16's get in free with a paying adult and regularly host themed events on match days with this weekend (11th November) being Armed Forces day with free entry for serving members of HM Forces bearing a valid ID card.

Last game of the season, a good win for Albion. The game will be remembered for 500+ of the crowd singing "MUD MUD GLORIOUS MUD" to the students who declined to play on their last visit due to the state of the ground! Albion and the referee were happy to play.
