I approached Chris for help having suffered for quite some time with movement pain. I’d also been under a considerable amount of stress and it was impacting my mental well-being. We worked together over a number of months focusing on different areas. The programming was completely adapted to my needs and every week was different. He knew exactly when I needed pushing and when I needed talking down. We explored emotions, stored tension, cause and effects, and with his help I managed to better understand how everything connected and build back my strength, confidence, and mobility. Chris follows a very different approach, and it’s one that I think you really need to be ready for. But if you are and you embrace it with an open mind, it really is quite empowering.

Chris has been a fantastic coach to work with. I have trained in various gyms and settings for years, always carrying injuries or niggles and getting to the point where I end up with serious injuries, would get disheartened and give up on generally health and fitness due to frustration and the never ending cycle.
I put my trust in Chris, allowed him to show me a new way of fitness and thinking which tore up what I thought I knew and almost rebuilt my body whilst developing my understanding of where I had imbalances and how to develop my weakness (my actually weaknesses, rather where I though they were - spoiler alert the issue is rarely where the pain is).
All the train is so simple and can be done at home which is great to fit around family time. Simple isn’t to be mistaken for easy though 😅.
Cannot recommend Chris enough if you truly want to become fitter and stronger both physically and mentally.

I started working with Chris because I wanted to try something different to get fit. What I didn’t fully understand was the breadth of what the ‘training’ would do and how it would help. If you are looking for a personal trainer who will just beast you until you break, look elsewhere. Yes you will get fitter by working with Chris. But the difference is Chris spent time time understanding my physical limits, my mental limits and my emotional challenges. He then guided me and then slowly educated me on how to bring together all three into a change of lifestyle and way of approaching training. Different training sessions for different moods, ways of controlling emotions by hitting different types of muscle groups. It really changed my way of thinking about training and stopped me just using the gym or a training session as an escape.

I've been training for many years now and sometimes workouts can feel stagnant, not with Chris, he constantly pushes you mentally as well as physically.
Learning how to navigate around niggles and my strength rocketing, it feels amazing.
