Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place out before! I’ve just finished a 2 week trial and can honestly say it’s been great. Flexible classes, lovely staff who are down to earth and fun, real range of classes, fantastic equipment….what more could anyone want?? Highly recommended!

F45 is the best gym I've ever been a member of! The workouts are killer, super effective at building lean muscle, always well-rounded, and never the same. The coaches truly coach during class and never fail to challenge you, plus the community of people is amazing and has me looking forward to showing up every day. Before joining F45, I mostly ran - I've been a runner for 15 years. After doing F45 consistently for 4-5 days/week plus one long run on the weekends over ~6 months, I ran a half marathon PB with a time of 1hr 36min - 3 minutes faster than when I actually did a half marathon training program. I have no hesitations recommending this gym and community of people 🌟

When I heard about F45 I wasn't too sure what to expect but I can honestly say it is such a good environment to be in!! Everyone is so positive and friendly, the trainers, the other members, I love it.
I instantly felt welcomed and part of a team. The classes do push you and make you feel like you've actually done a proper workout and for only 45 minutes of your day it is 100% worth it. Thanks so much Jack and Gemma you guys are awesome for creating a safe, fun and motivating environment!

I’m so happy I found the F-45! I hate gyms as for me it’s quite boring, but this sessions are something incredible. All the coaches are great, my favs are Rachael, Jack and Steve. Highly recommended and even if you are not a gym buddy just give it a try 🌸

The team at F45 Reading are fantastic and the workouts leave you feeling totally buzzed up. Having always gone to the gym by myself I thought I'd give something different a go and I'm so glad I did - it's such a motivating, upbeat and friendly community! Can't wait to get back to it after lockdown. Highly recommend everyone to give it a go!

The first (free) class was brilliant, so signed up for 2 week package. The mix of cardio and free weight style sessions, combined with each one being different, is exactly what I enjoy. I'd read fantastic reviews in magazines about F45, and Reading delivers. The team are very friendly, enthusiastic, esp. Rachel. Would like a bit more guidance on what weights I should be using in Tues/Thurs classes moving forward, but so far thoroughly enjoying. If you don't come 3/4 x/week though, could be expensive. Perhaps learning more about the F45 challenge will retain my current attendance as reviews highly recommend it.

I had heard about F45 from friends, and also rugby players I follow because they said it was the new thing in gym and fitness. The idea sounded brilliant! Short 45 minute classes which are 'functional' (a trendy buzzword at the moment which just means that you're doing movements which are more akin to playing sports, and not just standing there statically lifting weights in the gym like a gym boy/girl), and also a strong team atmosphere in the classes was supposedly the ethos. They are supposed to be putting an emphasis on fun and team work at the heart of what they do, so I, as someone who hates the dirge-like monotony of gyms and also boring, unfriendly and monosyllabic gym-goers, loved the ethos and initial idea.
When I turned up, the gym itself seemed so nice! There were screens on the walls showing you how much time you had left for each excercise and how to do each one. It was brilliant, and again I loved the concept. It tried to make it fun and colourful. Unfortunately, maybe I turned up on a bad day, but the people in the class were all standing on their own and not really very friendly with each other. So much for a team ethos I thought. They seemed to not be very smiley, and there wasn't much of a buzz I'm afraid to say. It all gave me the feeling it was some lunchtime class which just had corporate people from nearby attend (as it is right in the centre of reading) without much of a friendly atmosphere. Maybe this is because of the time I went, so I am trying to be balanced and not harsh, because I don't like slating companies and people for the sake of it. But I just didn't feel that excited by it.
It's a shame because I loved the idea, but it didn't seem very personal either, which again maybe indicative of it being slap bang in the centre of Reading. I went to the crossfit gym in Reading to compare, and the difference was huge - everyone there was incredibly friendly and welcomed new people etc, and their emphasis was on fun first. I'd say work on community before you work on asthetics like screens and colourful walls, as we are all searching for fun and connection nowadays, so let's put fun first!!!!

F45 has been great for improving my fitness over the past 6 weeks. The classes are fun and the instructors are great. They will make sure your form is correct whilst encouraging you to reach your fitness limits so that you get the most out of each session.

I am very impressed with all the trainers at F45 Reading, really attentive when you are doing the exercises and always making sure your technique is correct. They create a fun atmosphere in the studio too, lots of energy and positive vibes. The workouts are challenging and will definitely raise your fitness levels up really quick and give you results! I highly recommend F45 and the Reading team!
