Great friendly atmosphere . Just what reading needs . This gym has gone from strength to strength . As soon as my youngest son is old enough he will be down there also . Well done to all the trainers at the gym . I believe this gym helped my eldest son with anger issues he’s like a new person now .

Started around 3 months and the best decision I’ve made for my fitness for a long time. Top quality facilities and training from all the coaches. Everyone is friendly and everyone from first timers to regulars are made to feel welcome and looked after. Not just great for fitness but also great for anyone looking to learn the key fundamentals to boxing and progress further. Would highly recommend it anyone.

Been training at Whitley for past couple of years now one to one mostly. Having tried various places prior to this finally found my home in Whitley ABC. Great coaching and getting taught the true fundamentals of boxing. Great community atmosphere. Great place for kids and adults alike to learn about discipline, realities of life and enjoying the journey along the way. One on One's are awesome, really get the chance to learn the right way. Can't recommend this place highly enough. My only regret is work stops me spending more time there or I would be there all the time.

This is a great boxing gym, the team are very welcoming, and I feel my two sons are in a very safe environment. The kids are learning so much and it's bringing out a lot of confidence in my eldest as he was a very shy person. It's not just a revolving door gym where they take money off kids and don't teach them anything. My sons are learning discipline and it's keeping them focused and they get the attention they need. I travel from the other side of Reading just to come to this gym, it's a blessing that these guys are such good trainers and they all love the sport and helping all characters of life that enter the gym. Whithey amature boxing club is by far the best boxing gym in Reading. Having already trained at numerous gyms, Whitley ABC offer a varied training schedule to suit those of all levels. If you are looking to get into boxing or just improve your fitness, look no further! They offer flexible & competitive payment plans to suit frequent users to those who just want to train now and again. Nathan (trainer) is welcoming and highly experienced. This offers a safe and productive training environment.

This is an absolutely brilliant boxing gym with a very friendly atmosphere. Aside from improving fitness, this gym has really taught me HOW TO BOX, as opposed making you punch the bag for 2 hours! I strongly encourage those who want to improve both their fitness and boxing to go to this gym. Especially since the coach is a former pro boxer!

My 2 boys have been going to boxing since Sept 2016 and absolutely love it. The instructors are very friendly and great with the kids, really good discipline for the children and great fitness as well. Really good value for money, Highly Recommend.
