Early impressions are good despite an average joining experience and no agreed follow up being delivered by the colleague concerned. Hence only 4 stars. Recommend the gym, but if room for improvement on the joining experience.

Large car park. Excellent facilities. Large outdoor adult area with seating area, jacuzzi and sauna. Swimming pool and jacuzzi. Indoor steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. Large swimming pool with separate baby pool. Large gym There are children's clubs covering various activities. Good changing room facilities with lockers, showers and separate toilets. Everywhere is extremely clean. Seating area serving food and drinks. This is a well thought out facility for the whole family.

I joined mainly so i could take my kids swimming in the outdoor pool, mainly for my autistic son who doesnt like the noise of the indoor pool and my youngest who doesnt go to school yet but it only opens in the holidays or weekends for kids, dont see why a gym of this size cant hire a lifeguard to stay outside when its a nice day. Everytime i go there is a problem with this pool, either the ph levels are wrong or there is no lifeguards to staff it. Other than that the Gym, pools and facilities are Good and the staff are friendly.

Joined last year but only just started going to classes. There are a huge number to choose from, I really enjoy them....they are hard, of course! Lovely club, no pretenders or show offs, and the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna are lovely whatever the weather.

It's okay, it definitely needs an update compared to the clubs advertised on the TV. I only go in the week as its like a children's party over the weekend. Not at all relaxing!

The facility and the gym are great, but the music playing on the gym floor is the worst I've ever heard from any gym over the years. Things like "Easy Like A Sunday Morning" and slow Sam Smith songs are just sole destroying when you're trying to lift! In most cases I'd wear headphones, but when you're working out with a friend or helping someone this isn't an option. I don't know how people doing group classes on the gym floor get through their sessions. I'm not suggesting that the music needs to be blasting or heavy techno or anything like that, but at least something that you wouldn't play to try and help someone get to sleep. This is the only DL gym that I've experienced it in.

Having been a member now for 2 months I can honestly say this gym is an amazing family gym! The range of classes are great and the staff are amazing all from the reception, cleaning and instructors i can not fault them at all! I have also started my little one on the swim lessons which he had his first lesson lass week and love it. The only issue would be maybe putting on a kids " lunch box" offering a butty or wrap instead of hot meals but overall the gym is amazing!

An excellent place to get rid of stress after work with excellent facilities and staff. I was annoyed that my induction didn't happen twice so I'll have to try and arrange another one. Still great staff - always great youbwhen you enter. Always helpful. A nice clean place.

The staff are really friendly and polite here. The outside adults only spa area is great and very relaxing. The gym is very well equipped and the sessions for 3-5 years olds are a nice bonus too. The reason for 4 stars is the indoor (and outdoor) pool temperature. When swimming with toddlers is way too cold. A little warmer would be much more pleasant whilst still being ok for adults who are swimming too. I can see other reviewers have mentioned this so please take note David Lloyd!

Went for a tour, the staff seem nice and the gym has pretty much all the facilities you could ask for. It seemed like a very family friendly place. Very clean and bright.

First of all I would like to address previouse reviews. To Bob I questioned this, as my husband is in a similar position to yourself and I was reassured that if he got a doctors note everything would be fine with his membership. So I would definitely question what you have been told. And as for the reviewer called Barry, what a totally horrible review to write. Remember Barry one day you may be lucky enough to get to middle age and if you do I hope you are not being judged by some adalesent young man, thinking everyone is looking at him. Grow up and show a bit of respect for your elders!!! Now I have got that off my chest. David Lloyd is a great place to go, it's a life style and you have to be prepared to go quite a few times a week to get your money's worth. The staff are lovely especially the Australian guy (sorry forgot your name haha) always goes out of his way to ask you how you are and never forgets your name, he is a great example of professionalisation. I have only ONE complaint and that is the indoor pool is too cold. When we joined it was lovely and warm, I have mentioned it several times, but it's still cold, why other people are not complaining I don't know as they are in the changing rooms. It's ok for those who are swimming but when you are playing in the water with little children it's not pleasant. It's 28 degrees when it should be 30 degrees, please sort this DL also the spinner in the men's changing room need mending. Other than that it's a great place to go and a nice club to be part of. A very happy middle aged member

Super new bar area and change areas very clean. Larger than usual gym with lots of space for floor exercise and free weights. Outdoor pool area with decent loungers and lots of greenery. This gym is well worth a visit for members travelling on business.

Great gym, knowledgeable staff. Recently had all equipment upgraded and vast timetable of classes. Lovely pool area with amazing outdoor jacuzzi that you’d expect to find in a spa.

If you are looking for an adult gym and leisure facilities then this is not the one for you! Very much geared towards the kiddiwinks.. Also, trying to book onto a class is almost impossible at times, as soon as the class is over it is booked for the following week which is good for the club but considering the hefty membership fees I think they should consider putting on more of the popular classes. The staff are friendly and helpful and when you can get into a class, the trainers are brilliant.

Great Gym, nice pools both indoor and outdoor, there is also a sauna and a steam room which are very clean. The changing rooms and showers are very clean too. The staff are often nice but sometimes they can be rude.

Tried every pool around Warrington, by far the friendliest and cleanest facility around. Great gym that's got pretty much everything I need. Family oriented and definitely worth every penny.

Great gym facilities all round - the gym is modern, the tennis, squash and badminton courts are a good standard and the entire lounge area + pool area (indoor & outdoor pools, steam room, jacuzzi and sauna) along with the changing rooms are extremely clean and good quality. All staff are friendly too :)

Joined having looked at most other gyms,spas in Warrington. It was good at first although a number of fixtures and fittings need renovating, ie the indoor jacuzzi. very poor. Outdoor pool is nice but closed 5 months of year. Club is suppossed to have the feeling of exclusivity and thus a premium price is charged. However just recently approx 300 people from a nearby gym closure were signed up at a knockdown yearly subscription rate. Now feels like any gym anywhere ? To add insult having signed up for a year, 2 months later i received a letter from David Lloyd anouncing monthly my fees would be rising from Jan 2013. Had I paid for year in full instead of opting for the more expensive monthly plan, I would not paying even more extra for the pleasure. Cheek! Probably won't be renewing my membership :(
